Bright Smiles Dental is an amazing place to go for your teeth. My family has not been to any other place in Alaska. The front office is welcoming, the hygienists are all amazing, and Dr. Cavaness is super kind and thorough. You will not be disappointed with this amazing staff.

This is a wonderful dental office. Staff and dentists are exceptional. I would not go anywhere else. I'm in my 70's and have had a few other dentists in my life who were very very good that I went to for years but Dr. Cavanass and Dr. Morehead are the very best.

Dr. Cavaness was kind and helpful. He gave thorough explanations on everything from xrays to treatment plan. After a filling replacement I needed an adjustment and I was able to get an appointment right away and the fix was very quick! Front desk staff was professional and friendly! Highly recommend.

After 20 years with one dentist in Anchorage, I was forced to find another dentist. My dentist retired! While the new dentists in his office were personable and skilled, they opted out of my insurance. Forced to find a dentist that accepted my insurance, I was Blessed to find Dr. Cavaness. His office staff treated me as a valued client on my very first visit. They accommodated my "quirks" happily and enthusiastically. But best of all, Dr Cavaness was marvelous. For me, dental visits have be preceded by a Xanax pill. My stress levels are so high. On my last visit with Dr. C I tried something that I have not tried in 17 years. No Xanax!! What a joy to be with a staff and Doctor that relieves all of my anxiety so I do not have to pre-medicate so I can get through the simplest appointment. What started out as a nightmare for me... trusting a new dentist, has turned into a complete and total Blessing for me. I have a great deal of faith and trust in the entire staff. They greet me warmly, they make sure I know how much my visit will cost before I come, they make sure to treat me as a valued client. They never give off the appearance of having to "Put up with me." I can't say I will ever look forward to a dental trip, but I can say that I look forward to seeing the entire staff and Dr. C for all of my dental needs. As always, the place is clean and organized, while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere. I have been going here for years, and I intend to continue to do so for years to come. They are kind, and efficient, allowing the experience to be as painless and stress-free as possible.

I appreciated being able to take my Wife’s appointment, since She has been working from home, and had a must attend teleconference. She will reschedule. Dr. Cavaness is a wonderful doctor., he goes beyond his duty to take care of his patient.. My 7 year old son had a bleeding from tooth extraction one time , I was so anxious and prayed that night to God . God is amazing , right after I prayed Dr. Cavaness texted back that he will check my son that night .. it turned out we were not putting enough pressure and the good gauze on the post extracted tooth.. I thank God for Doctors like him .. I hope there is more doctors like you Doctor, God bless you more and your family and all the workers there at bright smile ... you are amazing..

The whole team at Bright Smiles is amazing! I started going there about 1.5-2 years ago when I unexpectedly needed to find a new dentist. I see Staci for cleanings and Dr. Cavaness for check ups/dental work and they are both wonderful, but I have also never had a bad experience with any of the other stuff. This is a great place to go, and it's affordable too, which is a plus! :) I cannot recommend this clinic enough.

I was a bit anxious to go to Bright Smiles Dental which took over Dr. Stratton's practice of which I was a long time patient, but I have to say this last visit to Bright Smiles Dental was wonderful (as far as trips to the dentist go ;-). The front office staff have always been friendly and welcoming as well as professional. I found both the hygienist and dentist to also be professional, friendly and knowledgeable too. My teeth were cleaned, I had x-rays, a short consultation with the dentist and was out in less than an hour. I would recommend this dental office to anyone looking for a dentist or thinking about making a change.
