After interviewing for a job, I called 3 days in row, left several messages & they wouldn't return my phone call to check in status of interview.

2020.07: Spoke to the general manager, actually got called and informed regarding positions, policies, and this review. Sounds like Ms Plum has her work cut out for her, but has some great goals to get AES in the right direction. She listened to my issues, it lined up with things she had found, and I'm hoping this will be the start of a positive trend, within AES and out. 2020.06: I will give them one thing: they are quick with rejections using any reason to not have to deal with applications. Otherwise, don't bother hearing back from them or having a conversation with someone who can fake sounding pleased. Your conversation with them feels like an inconvenience and it shows. 2019: Have been dealing with them since at least 2014. Not much to speak for as far as a recruitment agency. They will put you through arbitrary tests until you topple over, not that it seems to help them connect with jobs. The testing done has helped me get more positions than anything else. I am able to say I have skills evaluated by a third party agency.

The lack of responsiveness from the employees at AES has been very frustrating and disappointing. When someone sends an email, I believe it is common courtesy to at least acknowledge its' receipt, but that does not seem to be the consensus here. I have had to leave phone messages and send e-mails before I received a response. As a staffing agency, I would expect more.

Alaska Executive Search is the best employment agency in Alaska and the best that I have ever came across throughout the nation. The employees are extremely helpful, friendly, and they genuinely care about finding employment for all individuals. They are great at keeping in communication and respond very quickly to my phone calls and emails. I would HIGHLY recommend using their services for both job seekers and companies looking for employees. It is a truly amazing company and the people that make up their cohesive team are unlike ordinary recruiters.

Jacqueline with AES called (she has never met & has no idea who i am as a person)me and asked why I had certain details on my resume. I explained that those are skills I have obtained on the job and through education. She asked if I was currently certified (Alaska doesn't require that I be certified for the position I am looking for) I explained that through events in my life, my certification had lapsed and I was wanting to recertify with a national certification agency through work experience and on-the-job learning instead of the having to go back to school and pay $20,000+ and create more debt. Jacqueline asked that I update my resume, remove that previous experience and only focus on the receptionist/customer service experience aspect of my resume. She would then be able to help me and place me in an appropriate portion based on my last position in customer service. Until then, as long as I keep these certain skills on my resume, she said I am not eligible for placement through their company. I explained and agreed that I will update my resume. It will reflect the certifications I received this last week that are needed for position I want. I will not remove the skills that I have acquired in my previous field of choice. I am qualified to to a job whether my certification is updated or not. I feel that this was a wrong thing to suggest, to make it look like I am not qualified and don't deserve employment I am trained to do.

AES is a professional recruitment agency that finds the most suitable candidate to the work place. My experience with AES has been perfect, through out hiring process. Instruction was professionally and clearly provided with the interview and whole hiring process was easy to follow. Courtney has interviewed me and she created warm interview environment, making me comfortable through out the interview. Kyle, the front desk staff, was kind and he greeted everyone visiting the office with big smile every time. AES makes job search experience so easy for both candidate and hiring company. I would recommend anyone to use AES for job search.

I love the office admin assistant (edit Dec 2017) who is now their foremost associate recruiter and the only body left after an ownership reshuffle that has greatly improved the organization.

AES is the best staffing agency in Alaska! I have experience with the other agencies in Anchorage, and AES placed me with the perfect fit on the first try! I went in for an interview in early September, and, within two weeks, started with my (now-permanent) corporation as an Accountant. I can't thank them enough for their support and finding me a career. Personally, Cherissa and Kyle are the best! I really appreciate how they didn't just treat me as an employee; rather, they treated me as a friend. They always checked in on me and always struck up a conversation every time I went into the AES office. Both of you - keep up the hard work! It's paying off.

Even before joining this team, I had done my homework. As a 40 year old Alaskan owned legacy--the track record at AES is pretty phenomenal

I absolutely LOVE LOVE AES! I've landed a wonderful job where I love coming to work and working with my co-workers. Cathleen was such an amazing help with finding this wonder position I have right now. Also to everyone else that has been so helpful when I was first starting and I had many many questions and took time out of their work day to answer them! Such a wonderful staff! I defiantly recommend partnering up with them on a search for a job in Anchorage!

AES had been very helpful to me in finding the job in Anchorage pretty quick. I got an interview with them in June when I got here in Anchorage and I got placed in August. They helped me get a job at one of the best companies in town - with full benefits. Alena Stephenson was so helpful and I felt her sincerity in helping me find the right job for myself. Thank you AES. Thank you Alena and the rest of the team!

My time with Alaska Executive Search was splendid! This past summer I needed some temporary work to keep some pocket change in my pocket and to pay the payroll for my small business startup. I applied to numerous temp agencies around Anchorage, and for some reason Alaska Executive Search was the one company that was able to find me work that entire summer. To top it all off the staff is extremely friendly too!!

I have been using AES for a few years now and they are always polite and considerate of what kind of employment and wages I'm looking for. They are always very prompt in answering any calls or question I may have and have always found me employment swiftly. I have recommended them to several of my friends and acquaintances, and will continue to do so.

AES dropped the ball on my application. I have extensive office management experience and a stellar resume. I have known three young ladies who received calls back within a week from AES recruiters. I tried to deliver a copy of my resume personally and was told that I needed to apply online and a recruiter would be in contact. I never received a call. The office staff was curt and short with me in person and completely lacked telephone etiquette. It seems as if AES only corresponds with women.
