This was the most efficient and welcoming doctors office I have ever visited. They were very professional and went above and beyond to make sure I knew what was happening. They also answered every question I had, ensuring I was comfortable with the procedure.

I had such a great experience at Dr. Nordstrom’s office. They got my little girl in quickly when she was in a lot of pain, and were so great with her when she was a little nervous about the procedure. The office staff and assistants were super friendly and helpful, and we were in and out in no time. Dr. Nordstrom took extra time and care to make sure we got everything resolved, and she healed up nicely. I highly recommend this office!

I had a spot on my lip that was concerning so Dr. Ueeck performed a biopsy. He was very informative throughout the process and very gentle during the surgery. The front desk staff was super helpful with answering insurance questions as well. Highly recommend for high quality care!

I was so nervous about my apt. They gave me a consult and made me feel very at ease. They were able to do the consult and extraction with bone graph on the same day and got me in a day early. Very friendly staff and doctor. They all went above and beyond. If you can say you can enjoy your visit to your oral surgeon, that says a lot. Believe it or not I did enjoy my visit. I was very nervous about being put to sleep for teeth pulled, but the people involved made me feel very comfortable and relaxed! Much better than being awake and wondering/hearing the procedure! Definitely recommend sedation for dental work if you are nervous! Thank you team!

Dr. Nordstrom and his staff are excellent. My family has always had a great experience in their office. He has done wisdom tooth extractions for both of my kids and I recently had a tooth extracted in preparation for an implant placement. I would highly recommend Dr. Nordstrom.

Dr. Nordstrom explained in detail the procedure, possible problems that could occur, treatments if necessary and options for tooth replacement. I was given detailed information to read, as well. I felt a lot more confident about undergoing the procedure after the visit. All staff were very considerate and competent. I had a very positive overall experience!

Extremely clean and up to date professional operation. From the moment you enter the building, then in office and greeted by staff nothing but a good positive feeling. Office personnel graciously welcomed and worked diligently to aquire accurate information and identify your insurance benefits. As a retired physician, I am in awe of this practice and Dr Nordstroms’ skill. The office is confidently located in a very attractive building. There is ample parking. The office staff excelled in communication, were welcoming and efficient. Paperwork was easily done on line. The pre op counseling was superb. The facilities and equipment were modern , clean and well maintained. They communicated with my dentists office and shared xrays and info. Dr Nordstrom was personal, well spoken, informative and efficient. I truly never felt a thing. The medical information for post op care clear and concise. A call to the office after hours was answered quickly and the call clearly explained my questions —-patiently. Five stars is not enough.

I was very impressed with the entire operation during my visit. Staff are friendly, good at what they do, and efficient. Every activity from scheduling to making a payment and everything in between was beautifully orchestrated to respect the patient’s time. I found Dr Nordstrom to be friendly who quickly diagnosed the problem and patiently answered every question that I had. Having a major dental problem is not fun, but if you face it, I highly recommend this place!

Alaska Center for Oral & Facial Surgery is a clean and friendly atmosphere with caring and professional medical staff and personnel.

Dr. Ueeck did a good job on taking out my wisdom tooth, but neglected the protocol for someone with CVID (Common Variable Immune Deficiency) which is for sure premed and post medication possibly. I called his office to point it out and he still said I did not need it. My dentist that referred me was out of town so my immunologist prescribed it for me when he found out.

Excellent is just one word I would use to describe my experience here. From receptionist to accounting and the entire surgical/medical staff I felt cared for and respected throughout the entire process and procedures. I would highly recommend Dr Ueeck and the entire team at the Alaska Center for Oral & Facial Surgery.

I am so happy to say, my experience, with ACOF is a positive one. The girls at the front desk were pleasant and accommodating. The Dental assistants helped calm my nerves, and did their jobs with smiles. The atmosphere was very professional and calming. I needed that! Drs Ueeck and Nordstrom performed a major restoration with 5 implants that all required bone grafting. It involved multiple procedures, and I never had a problem with any of them. The work has been flawless and my regular dentist is extremely impressed. They are both massively educated and trained and their facility is state-of-the-art. I won’t let anyone else touch me for major work. You cannot find better, more qualified people anywhere. Worth every penny!

The best dental appointment I have ever had. I arrived in Anchorage yesterday to visit my son for a week. I developed a throbbing tooth pain that was very uncomfortable. I called the office at 7:30 this morning and explained the situation. Katie at the front desk was very understanding and fit me in the schedule as a courtesy. Dr. Nordstrom was very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. He explained all of the options for treatment in a very clear and crisp manner. In addition to his competence he was extremely kind and generous with his time. Taylor, his assistant, was also very engaging and explained the appointment process in great detail. Kathleen at the Front Desk was also very engaging and welcoming. I highly recommend this healthcare practice and am very grateful they welcomed a visitor to the area on such short notice.

Dr. Nordstrom placed a large bone graft and implants for me a few years ago. I was in a fairly bad situation after having my front teeth knocked out 30 years prior and had significant bone loss. I really had few options and was fairly anxious about my chances of success, but Dr. Nordstrom was confident and successfully performed the procedure. I experienced some challenges along the way, but Dr. Nordstrom provided excellent care and worked closely with my local dentist to support my ongoing treatment. I also appreciated that Dr. Nordstrom took the time to help me with an appeal to my insurance company. I would highly recommend Alaska Center for Oral and Facial Surgery, they are professional, courteous and we are blessed to have access to such advanced care in the state of Alaska.
