I hadn't been to the dentist in years and I have huge anxiety about them. They eased my fears and made me feel safe while I cried. I have more complicated issues and they explained the issues with out over worrying me.

Everyone in the office is great! I recommend this office all the time.

A practice you can trust! Been going here for about 5 years now and the staff have always been attentive and kind. Dr. Ledford is always on top of any issues and will kindly explain anything you ask. He's even called me answering concerns I outlined in an email once. If any issues arise the staff will try and get you in as soon as possible. Definitively recommend coming here to get your teeth worked on.

I have suffered from numerous broken and neglected teeth over the years. Because of difficult experiences in my youth, I have often tried to avoid going to the dentist. This was a bad strategy. One day it all caught up with me. Fortunately, my insurance carrier directed me to Dr. William D. Ledford. He and his staff are gifted dental care providers and they have made a tough situation bearable. They have done this without making me feel bad for ignoring my teeth. This is a good group that I would recommend to friends and family.

Highly recommend Blue Stream Dental (Watts Mill Shopping Center - 103rd Street). Have been using this office for over 30 years and cannot say enough good about them. Yesterday I had my teeth cleaned and found out that I needed some work done ASAP. They worked me in today and took care of me. New crown, and two cavities and they saved me from having to get a root canal. Dr Ledford and his staff are top notch.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ledfords at this location for over 10 years. I went to another dental clinic one time and i felt like an adulterer!!! Lol. Needless to say, I haven’t cheated since and I love my dentist and his team. I was Just in this morning, and took notice of the team work and pleasant disposition and overall warmth of the office. I have been going to Dr. Ledford for over 20 years. When I got married my whole family started to goto him and they never went to the dentist on a regular basis before. He is the very best dentist by far! Novocaine shots never hurt and he always explains everything and gives you the best options considering your insurance, flex monies, etc. And they are super friendly! I always love going there no matter what I am having done. They are like family!

Excellent practice. Both the Doctor and his staff went out of their way to get me in when I had a tooth emergency. I would highly recommend them as I plan on being a long term patient of Dr. Ledford.

I have been with Dr. Ledford, for over 15 years he has always been a very concerned and efficient dentist. I have referred my friends to him and I continue to see him and have confidence in his abilities. he has managed to have a good staff during the years that I have known him. additionally he has good hands, which means that you don’t have to be afraid of procedures that he performs.

I’ve only been twice, but so far it’s amazing. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and never in a hurry. They seem genuinely interested in helping me understand my dental issues. The first time I went with a broken tooth/filling. I expected I would need to make another appointment and have to wait for the problem to be resolved. Dr. Ledford numbed, drilled, and re-filled my tooth and I was back at work in just under an hour!

The staff here is always so polite, trying to help me out when possible and taking my needs into account. The hygenists are always very pleasant and do a good job when cleaning my teeth. There are also many options for polish flavor too! :) Dr. Ledford himself is a fantastic dentist. He is familiar with all of his patients and tells you what you need to know, but with a tactful "bedside manner." Yet he also tries to find solutions that will work for you if you are unable to pursue treatment at that time, due to insurance, finances or whatever. He has only scolded me once, and I fully deserved it, because I hadn't been to the dentist in a while. I fully recommend this dentist office to all my friends and family. Even moving away hasn't caused me to switch.

I've been going to him for about 10 years now. Had crowns done and a couple of root canals and I can say without a doubt I have had a 100% painless experience. Definitely would recommend his practice!

I have been coming to Dr Ledford for over 17 years, he has taken care of my entire family. I feel like he treats us the same way he would his own family. Some dentists go overboard and are reactionary to treatment, but Dr Ledford has always told us which teeth need immediate treatment and which we can 'watch for a bit' before treating. He understands that not everyone has an unlimited supply of money and some can only treat what they can afford at the time. His hygienists are fantastic and focus more on the health of your teeth than hurrying to get you out the door. They are all friendly and very helpful. We love this office, thanks guys!!!

The receptionist was very friendly and down to earth. The dental assistant was understanding and made me feel so relaxed. The dentist was so patient, knowledgeable. I felt so welcomed. I haven’t been to the dentist in awhile and they did not make me feel bad. I’ve finally found a family dentist for myself and children.

Great dentist!!!! It's a great experience the moment you walk in, you are greeted with genuine smiles and so far, everyone there is just nice. Dr Ledford himself is especially wonderful in his approach, explains treatments and problems well and is just a friendly guy...kudos to these guys...I was referred by a co-worker and apparently, 3 other coworkers go to this practice...what a great change from last experience just one month before I came here...highly recommend.

I love the lady who always does my cleanings and care. She’s super sweet and very helpful with letting me know exactly what I should be doing to have healthier teeth and gums. The lady who works at the front desk is super friendly as well. It’s one of those dentist offices where you walk in and she knows who you are, which is kind of rare these days. Just a great team of people working at this office!

My family and I had 4 appointments on Saturday, mw wife's being at 7:30 am, my 2 children's appointments were both later in the morning around 10:30, and mine was later in the day at 3 pm. My wife had became sick the evening before and I had just gotten home from working an overnight 10 hr shift at 7:45. I had just walked in the door when Dr Ledford's office called my wife's phone. I answered her phone and they asked for my wife, I told the lady, I'm assuming who was the receptionist that my wife was in the bathroom. The receptionist was very rude and hateful when she said that they needed to cancel all appointments for my family. She really never gave me the chance to explain anything. My wife was extremely sick the evening before and she totally forgot about her appointment and she ended up oversleeping. I understand that my wife was somewhat in the wrong for missing her appointment, but that's not an excuse for the receptionist to be rude and a real b**ch, I feel that they shouldn't have cancelled the appointments for the rest of my family

Moved to KC from Springfield about a year ago and have gone to Dr. Ledford since then. His practice reminds me of my father’s (orthopedic surgeon). It’s focused on the patient first rather than meeting time quotas and physician/patient ratios. With the way the medical field is headed it’s good to know there are still a few good places like this still left out there. 5/5 would recommend!

I had really bad tooth pain and no one could get me in anywhere. I knew I needed to get a tooth pulled and no one would help me. Until I called Dr. Ledford. He got me in within the hour. He took a look and sent me to get it pulled by an oral surgeon. I feel so much better after having it pulled. Now I am going in next week to get everything looked at and Dr. Ledford will be my dentist from now on. Very friendly and professional staff. My whole experience was great and you should definately give Dr. Ledford a call if you need a good dentist.

Dr. Ledford is very gentle, fast, and thorough. He never leaves you waiting for your appointments like other offices. He stays in time and is always a pleasure. He is honest with care instead of trying to get the most out of patients. Highly recommend him to anyone. Also great with children. My whole family comes here.

I was always nervous about going to the dentist and being judged or feeling ashamed. I'm so happy I came here. Erica is great and answers all of my questions, even off-the-wall ones. She lets me know all the facts if I want or if I just want to sit quietly, she'll let me do that as well. All in all, I had a great time going to the dentist. How many people can say that?!
