I had not been in to the dentist office in quite a while due to personal issues. When I went in to see Dr. Jason, I was pleasantly surprised that they remembered and maybe even missed me…a little. Dr. J is personable, professional and friendly. Katie, my hygienist, took the time to explain everything she was doing with a smile of her face. She was also very professional and friendly. When Dr. J came in after Katie had done my examination and tooth pics (X-Rays), etc., he asked me if anything was bothering me? I answered that Katie was a little! We all laughed and he checked my oral cavity. It is a good reminder of why we all must drop in on our preferred dentist on a routine basis instead of taking a few years off as I had done. Dr. J found some decay under an old filling on of my teeth (tooth’s?) as well as a crack in the filling. He caught it early as I was in no pain…yet…but we all know that these issues will not resolve themselves and it’s always better to fix it early then to wait until that indescribable pain comes and it turns into an emergency situation. From the office manager Jen to the hygienists to the receptionist, Dr. J has assembled a great team of professionals. My family has been going to WY Cosmetic & Family Dentistry since 2007 and we’ve been through cleanings, braces, crowns, root canals and even an implant or two. For oral hygiene, this is a great team to have on your side.

As a person who generally avoids dentists, Doctor Jason Whiting and the kind tech who treated me absolutely eliminated all of my discomfort and concerns. I am incredibly grateful to them for taking care of me in such a kind and efficient manner! My experiences with the WCFD family have been nothing short of wonderful- kind, sensible, straightforward and honest. So glad they’re here!!

My son had a root canal 7 months ago and now it has failed. The new dentist shoes that they didn't go deep enough and that's why it failed, he is in extreme pain. Wyoming Cosmetic informed us that happens and we needed to see a Endodontic, our new dentist said that if they had done it they would have stood behind their work. This isn't the 1st problem my family has had with them. They are rude and VERY disrespectful to us.

These guys are absolute crooks. Twice, I was told my exam and X-rays would be free of charge. Yet, I just received a bill from my insurance totaling $259.70. (a few weeks prior, I had an exam and X-rays done at a different office in town. My appointment with WCFD was to get a second opinion. WCFD had my prior X-rays and diagnosis from my recent exam. I insisted new X-rays we’re not necessary, however WCFD said don’t worry the new X-rays and exam would be free.) I plan to sue WCFD in the Laramie County Circuit Court for fraud.. It’s not about the money. It’s about this companies inability to stay true to their word. WCFD needs to be held accountable and I feel confident the Laramie County Circuit Court will hold WCFD accountable. Jason Whiting and WCFD clearly lack proper morals and ethics. WCFD, see you in court! In addition, I will be filing a complaint with the Wyoming Board of Dental Examiners.

Buyer beware of potential price gouging! These guys are considerably more expensive relative to another dental office in town (probably most offices, although I can’t make a definitive statement regarding the average local price)… Initially, I had an exam done at a different office in Cheyenne. Then I got a second opinion at WCFD with Jason Whiting. I needed to have a tooth extracted. The first dentist quoted me a price of $186.00 to provide that service. WCFD quoted me a price of $339.20. An 82% increase in price for identical services. Talk about price gouging I am really curious how WCFD’s prices compare to other local dental offices for services such as, a crown or root canal. Would it be of any surprise if they were gouging patients regarding those services as well ?? Or does WCFD only gouge on extractions ? Buyer beware!! The aforementioned pricing data I provided is factual, documented data. Jason Whiting , If you think I misrepresented you in any way, fell free to “try” and sue me for slander and libel. The dental staff and facility were GREAT, clean , and top notch. It would be a 5 * star rating but unfortunately the young girl at the front desk comes off rude and I believe customer service training woud do her well.

Irony! Giving Dr. Whiting and staff 5 stars for a root canal and crown, but Dr. Whiting is and excellent dentist and for all the stress that I put myself through prior to the procedure they put me at ease as much as I would possibly get. Thanks Doc and all staff.

when i called and scheduled my appointment , i specifically told the receptionist that i wanted my cleaning that day because i had trouble getting time off of work for appointments , she said no problem. they called me to come in early and i did but after the initial examination, i was told that i would need to come back for my cleaning, that i needed things done to my teeth that i did not need, i went to my old dentist and my teeth are fine, this place is a scam just to get more appointments and money out of the client , and have them pay for things that they dont need

Fast visit, very efficient, but they don't provide any over the counter pain killers for my toothache. They are kind enough to provide treatment to the sum of over $3k for a single tooth though. I'll be looking else where.

I have been in multiple times for different things, and each time I am more disappointed. My last experience was when I had to have a crown done and in the process, they broke a filling on a separate tooth and I was told they would put in a temporary filling but that one would also need a crown now. I felt like it was extremely pricey and left feeling taken advantage of. My more recent experience was when a filling came out of a different tooth. I called to see how soon I could get in (it's extremely uncomfortable) and was told by the receptionist that he didn't have any openings, but they could "maybe get me in in a few days".... when I explained that wouldn't work because I have no filling in the tooth, she said, " Well I think that's okay, it should be fine." Dental staff need to understand the needs of the patients. I am again underwhelmed.

Careful with this place they are very dishonest. I went in for my last cleaning for the year that my insurance covers, and they charged me for additional services and I didn't even see the dentist! They don't answer their phones at all. I called three times to discuss my bill and no answer. Don't waste you time at this place!

I give 2 stars because the above comment only. I paid out of pocket 800$ for a retainer with 1 tooth called a flipper that I don't wear because its hard to talk and understand and I DO have insurance. ? I really wish I was explained all my options and how much it would cost. I feel like I could have gotten a permanent tooth for that price. Ripped off... Boohoos!!

Wow! I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Whiting and all of his staff! I recently moved here and was nervous about finding a new dentist. The first appointment was completely free and no hassel. The atmosphere is so welcoming and calm and made me feel really comfortable. I ended up needing a crown and before scheduling an appointment for it, the office called to let me know they were having a "crown day" where they were offering an additional 20% off and asked if I could get in on that day. I also needed some fillings which they offered to me also at 20% off. It ended up being so much more afforable than I could have imagined and the whole procedure was so quick! Dr. Whiting was amazing and the assistant Vanessa was so nice. They were very cognizant of my comfort while also being speedy and efficient! I had zero pain or discomfort. This is hands down the best dentist I've ever gone to and I cannot recommend them enough! The whole place is just overall really really awesome ?
