Brookside Dental Care

I did visit this dental office 1/29/22. What a wonderful staff. Was needing work on an old veneer. Was accepted as a patient having never been seen here before, on a Saturday no less. The staff was so very nice and knowledgeable. Very professional warm and friendly. Facility is very up to date and clean. An excellent dental practice. Dr Shalabh is an excellent dentist. He was very cautious and caring for my comfort during the procedure. I so appreciate that and I thank you Dr. I give this dental practice 5 stars as it is deserved. Great team at Brookside Dental Care.

I went to this dentist and when they looked at my teeth they said the canine that I had fixed when I was 17 grew a cavity behind the filling and caused it to become yellow. They checked my blood pressure because I was scared to get work done and it was too high. So I went to another dentist nearby that didn't check blood pressure and they said that tooth wasn't a cavity at all. Then I learned my landlord had work done there. He had no tooth pain but they claimed he had cavities. I truly believe they drilled his teeth just to make money and there was nothing wrong with him. I don't recommend going here. Every tooth I had work done I saw a cavity but my landlords teeth looked fine and they "fixed" his. When I had a deep cleaning at other dentist the yellow on the tooth went away and I have never had pain chewing with it.

I been going here for 7 years I loved it at first but after 2019... Not so much! In the spring of 2020 I had a few cavities one of my cavity appointments needed to be rescheduled due to some unmentionable reasons. Second cavity appointment was also canceled when the first one was rescheduled. I was not informed of this and then the rescheduling didn't take place until the fall of 2020. Here we are the winter of 2021 and my cavities were avoided and left untreated. Resulting in multiple root canals. I never get a call back when I'm told that I will be called back. When I need to see the doctor it's like the receptionist does not care. My temporary feelings have fallen out of each of the root canals. But I can't get into the doctor because I'm told I'll be called back and never get my call back. When I called a schedule any appointments I'm told I'll talk to the doctor I'll call you back. So here it is a month after my first root canal appointment on this tooth The filling has fallen out I'm so much pain I'm literally crying. I can't even eat because the one side of my mouth is so painful and swollen and the other side of my mouth on the root canal that was just done before this one has temperature sensitivity that has not gone away. I was told it will go away it has not gone away. I've had other root canals prior to these two and I've never had this many problems with those ones. I'm tired of being a neglected patient so I'll probably be finding me a new dentist.

It was my first time visiting so far so good.. The staff was very polite, kind and making sure all safety precautions are in place to protect from Covid-19.. The staff & dentist was very knowledgeable & understanding to all needs & questions… I will come back again! Thank for such a welcoming visit!

My husband and I went to have our regular dental a message checkup. They were suppose to call us back to have our teeth cleaned, to this day we have not heard from them, we even left a message still no response

I appreciate the quality of service provided. I would like an estimate of the amount of time this and any other procedure would take. Of course, that is my responsibility to ask for .

2 stars because they do good work but they are very rude and unprofessional the way they go about charging your insurance so they don't have to do work for free that they are obligated to do. I was in alot of pain and I asked for it to be looked and of course they was more worried about how they could get more money instead of making me experience less pain. I really loved this place until my last visit. They showed their true colors. Its not about making people happy with dental care, its all about money for Brookside Dental. Shame shame shame.

I had a great experience. I love how the staff was caring, listened to my concerns and explained my treatment plans. I decided to an schedule appointment base of reviews as they were accurate.

I had a scheduled appointment for 3PM. It is now 3:34PM where they are just informing me that only my 2 year old can be seen. Unfortunately, my seven year old attends virtual school, which means he must accompany. It would have been great if the workers would have advised at the time the appointment was scheduled of their policy. Or how about advise when I was waiting for 30min. Unprofessional.

Very good !The front desk ladies are kind and sweet and my 5 year old daughter was nervous they took very good care of her she said she felt no pain .even tho she went in with an ulcer she came out happy and jumping .we will be going back

I always feel welcome when entering their office. I know that my concerns will be listened to and handled with care.

I had no idea what I was going to do my tooth was infected I googled emergency dentist near me and I see many including Aspen But came across Brookside And I Called Them The Young Lady Was Very Empathic And Got Me In The Same Day I Showed Up less than 20 mins later on foot for it is conveniently close and they are caring honest and beyond helpful because of them I will have a whole new smile after years of semi neglect thanks so much im excited about the next 4 months of having my smile restored by you guys slowly but surely and more importantly safely.

I have been scared of the dentist since I was a kid, and they have been great to me. In recent years I have had to get a few teeth pulled, and they where helpful, nice about the whole fear part. I will continue to go here only.

Spotless, professional, friendly, modern. Fairly priced. Convenient. All treatments & procedures thoroughly explained. Covid-19 precautions in place and safe. This place and staff are A W E S O M E.

Staff was amazing. Was a quick and easy tooth extraction

I had an extraction (left side - bottom row - last tooth in back) this was Mon May 11th at 10 am was done by 11 am. This review is less than 24 hrs later. I actually can NOT tell he even did anything other than a tooth is missing. I have NO pain and am drinking a cup of coffee. While I did take the Ibuprofen every 6 hours I will stop that today and have NO need for the Hydrocodone prescribed for pain if needed. The Dr was great ~ as he started he asked IF there was any pain.. there was a little so he added some pain relief (had eyes closed so NOT sure what) he then went back in and removed the infected tooth with little to NO pain during the extraction. FYI the bleeding at the site stopped within about 6 hours after and was quite minimal. In short, I am a VERY satisfied customer and have found my new dentist for life and would HIGHLY recommend their services.

I went in nervous as can be. It took no time at all for the family at Brookside Dental to make me feel at ease. I had to have quite a bit of work thanks to some nerds on Halloween breaking my fillings. I would Highly recommend this company ! They do so much work for the community also, it just makes you restore faith in people. Thank you Brookside Dental You are appreciated!

Staff are very nice and pleasant!! Office is very clean and organized. Only downfall is the limited/crowding of parking space. Otherwise I'd give 5 stars.

For a senior citizen as well as a child they are the best in indiana. Quality respectful kind care to everyone. My sister comes from Milwaukee to be seen by him.

Just had my first visit in a loooonnnggg time. The staff was great and the dentist was awesome! The office is always clean when I'm there, which is a big plus. They made my scaredy cat self feel relaxed and I wasn't so nervous. The best and sore-est experience. Lol Thank you guys!

Well my journey started at a dentist wasnt really thrilled with service so I was referred to dentist closer to me I am terrified of dentist and the dentist office at 10th street confirmed why I should be afraid. In efforts of extracting my teeth they broke jaw bone and it kept rubbing so they took it out. Then I kept having shards of teeth cut through gums very painful. Went to Peoples Denistry they wouldn't help me so then I found Brookside Denistry. The dentist was awesome he fixed my mouth reset my jaw and did and awesome job on my dentures. I would highly recommend this dentist to all ages. The Dentist and his staff are amazing. At this dentist I'm not afraid. Thank you so very much for how you treat your clients and the decent care we recieve

I was going to a different clinic downtown, and I was so glad that I found a dental clinic that is professional and family friendly like Brookside. Would recommend this clinic for all your dental needs.

Friendly staff and excellent customer service!

I went to get a cavity filled over a month ago and they put me on a payment plan. I paid half of the money in cash that day and the other half came out on the 24th. I was worried when I filled out the card information and left it that something would happen and IT DID! Today the 27th I looked on my account and they have just taken another $69 from my account. I told them then I didn't want my information on file after that because all my money is on that card. Now I am out half the money I have to my name when I had things I needed to purchase for the weekend and who knows how long it will take to get it back. Horrible customer service. Will never return.

I love these people! They always make me feel comfortable and never try to pressure me to do too much at once. I really like they lay out a dental plan for you and send a copy home so you can keep track of everything easily.

They made me feel welcome, treated me like an adult and explained everything including payment options. Ranking options by priority so I knew what HAD to be taken care of ASAP and what could he put off until funds were available.

It was my first time at Brookside Dental Care. I visited them for my cleaning after moving from Carmel. I got an appointment right away. The whole staff was very courteous. The dentist himself did my cleaning and without having seen my records he knew what I had done before (root canals, etc.). I already told my teenager to make his appointment with them.

I have been a patient here for years. Dr. Sharma and his staff are very nice and professional. They treated my TMJ and changed my life.

Reasons why I've stayed at Brookside. 1) The doctor and team are very kind and helpful. They don't try to awkwardly hold a conversation with you while your mouth is wide open, but they are aren't stark or cold. They are friendly and welcoming. 2) They have Saturday hours!!! I don't have to pull the kids out of school or interrupt my work day to see the dentist. 3) They take walk-ins. I've not used this service, but I like that it's available. 3) No long waits. They have always been efficient, without making you feel rushed. 4) Text message communication! I have memory issues, and the fact that they are willing to send me text reminders, or reschedule me via text if I flake on an appointment and double book myself is very appreciated. 5) I have not had any tooth pain or cavities since I started seeing them. This is impart due to how they have made the effort to understand my struggles with dental care, and helped me come up with effective solutions. 6) If there is special dental work that needs to be done, they show you what the cost will be, and ask how you would like to move forward before doing the work and billing you. Every other dentist I've been to hasn't been considerate of our family budget. 7) My husband, and both of my (special needs) children are patients here, as well, and all of us enjoy coming here and feel comfortable/cared for. I'm thankful for a family dentist that works well for all of us.
