He was supposed to perform an apicoectomy, but decided at the last minute, while I was in the chair that he would just go ahead and pull the tooth with the intention of replacing it with an implant. I had no opportunity to think it over. He neglected to tell me that he wanted it to "heal" before performing the implant. I was waiting for it to heal for over 6 months and it never did to his satisfaction. It still hasn't and never will, according to other oral surgeons, periodontists and dentists I have seen since trying to correct this error. There is not enough bone for an implant and it's too tenuous to attempt a bone graft for the implant to be successful. Now I have to wear a partial, all because he didn't perform the procedure he was supposed to perform.

Dr Chung did astounding work pulling all my wisdom teeth couldn’t have found a better surgeon I will definitely being going back to him for any future dental needs?

Dr.Chung is the man y'all...!!! :) Even his staff was so excellent to me. They pulled 10 of my bottom teeth and the next day I ate a cheeseburger. My gums healed very quickly. And the tea tree oil he was asking me about is in a glass pink bottle, and is called "Pink Rex" please let him know bc he loved it and even actually googled it, I'm sorry I don't know where to buy it at bc my Brother that is a suicide hero 9-9-20 had given it to me. But thank you all again.

I cannot thank Dr. Chung enough, yesterday he made sure I was super comfortable and helped me get out of severe pain these people were simply amazing thank you!!!!!

Dr. Chung pulled all 4 of my son Zackary’s wisdom teeth 2 weeks ago and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome. He worked quickly, he is super nice, and hilarious. Zack never had any real pain or issues afterwards. Never took anything more than ibuprofen except for on the first night I gave him the stronger prescription JUST INCASE but that was it. His biggest complaint was me not letting him eat solid foods the first couple of days and he was (mentally) ready for pizza. LOL. Dr Chung called the night of the procedure to check in on him and that speaks volumes. Will definitely go back to him in the future if/when any of my younger 4 need extractions. ?

Dr. Chung, Amy, Misty, and Jason were all by my side before, during, and after surgery and I cannot express how thankful I am for those wonderful people and this practice. All of the staff is so friendly, professional, and understanding. My results are phenomenal and I will never take my business elsewhere.

Around a year ago Dr. Chung took out all 4 of my wisdom teeth...it only took about 20 minutes(which was odd to me). After the healing process, I noticed my back tooth had a large piece missing off of it. I called their office and spoke with the manager. She was super nice and helpful all the way up until I demanded to be seen again(clearly because my permanent tooth has a chunk out of it)!! She claimed my 2 insurances did not cover the cost....so I went through the long process of dealing with insurance...just for them BOTH to say they covered the procedure. So...around a YEAR LATER my back tooth chipped AGAIN(now because it is brittle)and is STILL missing a large piece. At this point I am tired of dealing with their unprofessional staff and want my tooth fixed that was damaged. She then proceeded to tell my my insurance didn’t cover it ?. After I even received paperwork from the insurance stating they did and I have NOT received a bill from Dr. Chung since insurance covered the cost. I would 110% NOT RECOMMEND using him. They will not admit fault when they do something wrong and will try and find every way to get you angry so they have the right to hang up the phone on you. UPDATE: It’s is September 2020 and they still refuse to even see me. They stated filing insurance is a courtesy and they would not be doing so when I talked to them last year. They ended up filing insurance because they knew that’s the way they were getting paid after I paid my part. Extremely unprofessional and would rate -99999 if I could!!!

Very nice and helpful staff and Dr bill Chung is a nice day and very helpful person I personally recommend him to everyone and I'm going to get my dentures made by him he removed all of my remaining teeth today 4/14/2020 he did an amazing job very little discomfort I have Advanced cirrhosis and fatty liver thinking of me bill Chung did it at the hospital for my safety he thought of my complete health and safety over everything which is refreshing

Once they listened to my concerns, they were very helpful. When I call to ask questions, the person was rude but when I went in person, they were kind to me and let me know what they were doing step by step which I appreciated. At first I gave it a one star but now I give it 4. Because while they are treating me great now, they should’ve done it from the start. But they’ve proven themselves to be great with patient care and the wisdom teeth extraction. Thank you.

Dr Chung was so nice and professional. He took the time before my wisdom teeth removal to talk with myself and my husband about the procedure to answer all my questions and explain every step of the removal. He acted like we were his only patients he had. No rushing though, only the most helpful and companioned care. He is just a very nice person and so is all his staff. Can't thank everyone in this office enough for making a stressful days as relaxing as humanly possible.

Dr. Chung has been the only oral surgeon or dentist to have the patients to deal with me. I have mental issues and it makes me afraid to be in a position where I don’t have complete control. He makes a point to explain things to me where I feel at ease. My mouth has progressively got to the point of the only choice being to get all teeth pulled and fitted for dentures. I’m only 6 months away from being pain free and able to eat normally again. Thank you dr. Chung for giving me this chance I just had a son 4 months ago having only a year and a half for my older son to be raised I gave up on my mouth but you helped me to give my new son a chance of having his father through the years he will be raised.

Amazing people! I have been several times and 2x was an emergency. They helped me immediately. They only place I will go. Quick, fast, efficient and very caring, even when they have to reboot. Everyone here rocks. Thank you All!

From the moment the appointment was made everything went smoothly. Dr. Chung is great. He makes you feel comfortable and takes the time to explain everything. Everyone in the office was polite and knowledgeable. The only oral surgeon my family will ever use.

Dr. Chung was great with me. My mom said he probably took 20 minutes to pull my teeth. The staff was everything and very professional and nice with me. They didn’t rush me off. I felt like I was their #1 priority. Even if he’s booked and your not in too much pain, please let him pull your teeth. You won’t regret it. You’ll need great people around especially since getting your teeth pulled is a big deal. They gave me ice pack, information on how to heal. I’d do it all over again just to have that experience. Literally in and out. Just wanna day thank you & I couldn’t not give my review to the public.

This place is just a pill mill. Had my tooth pulled a few days later extreme pain, went back the dentist didn't even come into the room, no-one looked in my mouth, they wrote more pain pills and send me on my way. DO NOT COME HERE

Decent work bad bedside manner .

If i had a choice there wouldnt even be a star. Dr. Chung was very rude towards me. They scheduled me at 2pm for a surgery to remove 3 teeth and do a biopsy to make sure a mass in my jaw was not cancerous. They also scheduled 3 other people at 2pm also besides me. It was very rushed and he let me know up from that if i even so much as moved during the operation that he would stop right then and there and not continue. His assistants were also very rude. 4 times they came into the room and interrupted him to let him know his other patients were ready. He left my surgery once to go and do another patient. By then my numbing had already started to fade. When he returned to the room he was still in the same gloves he had on before he left the room and didnt even change his gloves to clean ones. He crushed one of my teeth trying to get it out and then to fix his problem sawed half of my jaw bone down to get the rest of the tooth out. By this time i was in major pain. Fast forward through his 30 minute lousy job and i am in terrible pain. When he finished he just said good job and left the room. Didnt even do the biopsy. Didnt ask if everything felt okay. Didnt tell me anything about how to recover or take care of it. I have been to the hospital for extreme pain 3 times in two weeks. Went to another surgeon all the way in Chattanooga. He stated that dr. Chung's work was the worst that he has ever seen. With my new surgeon work he fixed the 3 bone spurs seeping out the side of my jaw and i was informed that when dr chung had sawed my jaw he cut my top tooth that now needs to be fixed. Not to mention that he sawed into the mass that keeps seeping out of my jaw. So now im waiting back to see if it is cancerous and if it is it is already spreading thanks to dr chungs horrible work. Can you say law suit? Already talked to my lawyer. Say goodbye to license. I wouldnt take a dead dog to him. Thanks for taking a simple surgery and runing my teeth, jaw, and short life.

2 back molars on left side needed removal, fairly painless procedure that only took a couple minutes once he was in the room. Gotta go back asap to have 2 removed on the right side as well. I'd recommend him to anyone needing a tooth extracted. Edited to add : he ended up removing 4 from my right side, 2 top 2 bottom molars that were causing pain about 2 weeks ago. He had to cut thru bone for the 2 bottom ones. He's still amazing and I'd still recommend him to anyone. Glad my mom recommended him to me.

Paid up front and everything went well until the past TWO YEARS, thats how long I Have been trying to get my work finished, but can't because no one will return my call and the receptionist will not make me an appointment once I tell her what I need to have finished, she says I'll have to get Jason to call you, then Jason says I'll get Val to call you, and then no one ever calls or does anything to help me and I will likely need another surgery now due to the fact that my care was not completed and I have developed problems due to my extensive wait time. I don't know what to do. Write a letter?!?

Dr. Chung is the best ! I have never known a doctor to actually care about you. To listen and even sympathize with you. Takes time to find out what exactly is going on, than takes time to do it not only right, but as painless as possible. Wonderful attitude, as well as his staff! I thk Dr Chung is very good at his job a lot of doctors can’t pull Long roots on teeth but he has done a few of them for me over the last few years and I thk he is the best . He don’t talk that much he gets the job done and he is gone to the next person but I like that he don’t play around with my time my time is money to .lol But if you ask him something he stop and talk to you that a good thing too .And his staff is very very nice to and they want to help you out no matter what it is .ill give them a 5 star to

I was so so nervous to get my wisdom teeth out didn't need to be out to sleep and this was nothing! They're amazing!

was talking to him and strange enough he teleported to my left side and just like that 16 teeth were gone in under a hour. yet he was gentle enough that the soreness/swelling was minimal and was back to work in 24 hours

Had a great experience with my procedure, no pain at all. Just a little bit of discomfort, not that bad. Dr Chung and his staff was friendly and great. They even call and check on me. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. Chung is wonderful in every aspect of his job. Great bed side manner, professional, genuinely cares about your overall health. He was great with me and my surgeries, and even better with our daughter. I would choose him to handle her care over a pediatric one any day. If you're also looking for a doctor and staff who will not make you feel bad if your teeth are in great shape, this is the place. No guilt, no pressure, just overall great office and wonderful doctor.

I recently had a severly impacted wisdom tooth that became extremely infected. Dr. Chung did a great job removing the tooth and correcting the infection. The staff are great as well ?

Shot didn't hurt they numbed area twice before shot . Pulled tooth in 3 seconds didn't hurt at all . They were all super nice n Dr Chung is funny . Loved my visit n I was so scared it was gonna hurt like when I went to a different Dr years ago but it was painless . Awsum Dr n staff

Great professional and really caring

Dr chung took out my daughters wisdom teeth. He knew she was scared so he put her to sleep, which during recovery was very funny. But seriously his office called. For 3 days after the surgery just to make sure she had no complications and didn't need her meds increased. There office is so kind and helpful. I recommend his office to everyone due to his kindness, exceptional work and professionalism.

Love the staff and how wonderful of a job they did. Would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for all you've done.

My daughter in law came in to have her bottom teeth pulled for dentures, Dr Chung broke her jaw, she thought it was a piece of tooth left behind so she goes back , he told her it was broken and he would fix it for 150.00 now I feel like , you broke it you fix it! I don't see how her dentures will fit comfortably. I just feel this is not right, he broke it he should fix it!
