I was taken in on time to get my teeth clean. Was able to replace an old filling so I didn't have to set new appointment for that. I really like all of the staff and Dr. NaNa.

Great service ! My first time visiting Ayadental and it was an excellent experience from beginning to end. Dr Nana and entire staff is absolutely amazing, Courteous, friendly, and welcoming. Office is also clean and they are taking all the necessary precautions against Covid transmission. My daughter had a dental emergency and they helped her immediately. I am very happy with this practice and highly recommend it !

Aya Dental is wonderful! The office is clean and well organized! Staff members are friendly and very welcoming to new patients. Dr Opoku Addo is very diligent with her care and takes her time to explain to you the process of what she is doing. She includes her patients in the decision making process for care and her use of technology during the visit was phenomenal! I could see everything that she was looking at on the television screen in front of me! Great office and staff!

I really like Dr Aya and she has done good work on me. But, day before yesterday I had a lower front tooth break off. I called yesterday at 2:00 and asked that the doctor see me briefly. At a minimum I needed a sharp edge filed down that is lacerating my tongue. I was told by the female staff member she could probably see me late in the day and to come back at 6:00. I came at 6:00 and was told she was doing oral surgery and since I live close by I should go home and they would call me around 7:15 and I could come back and get this checked out. I canceled plans that I had made long in advance to get this tooth looked at. I got the call at 7:15 by the mail member of the staff who said sorry it just hasn't worked out the doctor can't see you and let me put you on the schedule for 4 days from now. (Not in the office Friday or Monday). I was extremely unhappy that I had made myself available over a five or six hour period to be seen just long enough to take the sharp edge off that broken tooth and now I have to suffer through it for 4 days. If someone would have said no she can't see you at all definitively at 2:00 I could have kept my important plans for the evening, and I don't have important plans that often. He kept repeating, sorry it didn't work out. I feel bad that I raised my voice on the phone but I believe there are times you should emphatically tell someone when you think you've been mistreated. I don't want to lose this good doctor over issues with the staff. I think there's another review on here where I've left them five stars.

Didn’t even get a chance to get service. My tooth has been in pain for three days. I’ve called during business hours and the one time someone answered. He told me to hold and never picked the phone back up. I left a voicemail no call. Tried to call 10 minutes after opening and still voicemail. Happy for everyone who received help though.Update! I received a call back at 3:30pm. I already made an appointment for tomorrow morning for another dentist office.

Before I came here I received great service from our phone conversation. The moment I walked in it felt like family. I felt engaged and definitely at ease. Thanks for the laughs, I’ll see you ladies soon!

The best cleansing of my teeth ?. Highly recommend

Beyond the 5 star rating. I called a dozen dentists in my city and tried my hardest to find one that would take me for an emergency checkup. Aspen dental actually scheduled my appointment and told me they accepted my insurance (which is care source), only to tell me “their call center makes that mistake all the time.” When I arrived to get my exam. I decided to call Aya dental while I was still in their lobby after they tried discussing payment plans with me. I told the Aya team that I’ve been having this pain on my upper and lower rows of teeth on the left side for about a month. I’ve only just gotten time off work to deal with it, and that I needed the next possible appointment to get it looked at. Bless her heart she managed to get me in the next day. I found out that it’s one of my wisdom teeth pushing against the teeth next to it, along with several cavities. The exam was much more thorough than what I’ve experienced at other places. The nurse who ran all my tests was so sweet. Dr. Nana Opokhuddo was so sweet and to the point about what needed to be done to get a deep cleaning, fill the cavities, and get those problem teeth removed. I’m probably never going to switch dental care offices now. The Aya dental office is about 22 minutes from my house (I live on the west side), but the drive is worth it. You don’t get care like this everywhere.

Awesome Dental office

I went to get a check up and get some advice on how to fix my teeth and everything started ok then it took forever to get my ex-ray done. The girl who did it was nice but the Machine she was using was old and wouldn’t stay sturdy in place to take the photo, she had to use another machine to keep the camera from moving when taking my pictures also at times I myself had to hold it so It wouldn’t move. Then the doctor came in and told me I needed to take the tooth out that was shifting and put an implant in I told her I talk to another dentist and they said they would have to look and see what’s going on then based off the results they find there may be a way to save my tooth. This was a suggestion from another dentist in which Aya didn’t even offer me before she even decided that my tooth needed to be abstracted. After I asked her then she said yes there are some other thing you can try... Then in the middle of My appointment a lady came in and asked her questions about the business she was running and she left for about 15/20 minutes then came back work on my teeth and before she was even done she left back out to answer another question because the same lady came in and interrupted my appointment again and then the Doc disappeared once more. I got my teeth cleaned before and I know there should have been more then just two steps in my cleaning process (she scrubbed them, scraped them and floss them that’s it) but she was so distracted that she just skip the other steps and the girl that was with her was training. She didn’t know what she was supposed to be doing and in the middle of my appointment she was training her on how to put in data. I have no problem with a trainee working on me but you should have asked my permission first and then on top of that she should have stayed in the room with her to teach her how to do the procedure not leave her not knowing what to do next. So the doctor left out before my cleaning was even done and the trainee just gave me some mouthwash told me to spit gave me a bag I said I was done. On my way out the doctor came back out to the front and gave me a referral for the work that I needed to get done that they didn’t do at her facility and that’s it. Very unprofessional and not even a complete cleaning I will not go back.

My first time going to this place and it was the best place i have ever been . fixed my teeth with no problem at all .. And i hope my insuarance pays for my dentures because i love this place everyone there is so nice and makes you feel welcomed and i cant wait for them to call me to come back . cus what little teeth i have left they fixed them and made them really good i cant wait to get my teeth to have a beautiful smile im super excited

This was my first time back to the dentist in YEARS (like at least 7, maybe 8). I was so nervous and embarrassed about the state of my teeth and the time in between visits, but everyone at Aya made me feel so comfortable & relaxed and the dentist assured me that my teeth weren’t so bad. They’ve also got fancy, high tech equipment and the dentist even shows you where the problem areas are. I’ve never had transparency like that at a dentist’s office!! As well after my consultation I had my wisdom teeth pulled at my next appointment and Dr. Nana apologized after each and every site she injected me which I thought was super sweet??? I will definitely continue going here as long as I’m in Columbus!

I brought both of my teens here for a cleaning; my son and daughter were so happy and comfortable with Dr. O. and the staff. They both kept saying how gentle, engaging, and genuine she was. Thank you, Dr. O. for your services, we will look no further!

My first visit was great!! Cleaned my teeth well.. THEN THE DISASTER. I TOLD DR. AYA. I DIDN'T LIKE. THE TOOTH I HAD TO GET REPLACED . I PAID 500 $ CASH JUST TO BE AN UNHAPPY CLIENT... .. IM NOT SURE IF I WANT TO GO BACK...

Updated, modern space, still very cozy and welcoming. State of the art equipment. Professional and courteous staff. Dr Aya voice is calming for those who may be a little anxiety filled about dental visits. My hisband and i are extremely pleased with this practice that took over from H.G Spangler, whom we loved and was my husbands dentist for over 20+ years and mine for 15+ years. We appreciate this smooth transition♡

So I called to make an appointment because one of my teeth broke and it was becoming very sensitive. I've gotta say 1st off my experience was outstanding They took several xrays of my teeth and had seen where my fillings were basically old,and I had 2 teeth that were decaying underneath my old fillings.Nana (dentist) talked to me Explaining why my tooth couldn't be saved and the options that I had. I chose to have my tooth removed right then and I will tell you I felt absolutely nothing It was totally pain free and she is awesome!! I go back in 2 weeks to have a few more fillings replaced,6 months for another cleaning. Hands down this is the best dentist I have ever been too. I was so happy with my experience when I got home I told my son who then called and got a same day appointment for issues hes had for over a year. The entire office is very caring and wonderful❣

I just had a visit here today! It was so amazing! I haven’t been to the dentist in years because of a traumatic experience. They made me feel so comfortable & not embarrassed of my smile. They did fillings on a few teeth & did so great w them!

I came to Aya Dental after researching for the best practice that was both covered by my insurance and close to home, and I am pleased with my choice. Everyone in the office was very friendly, my pain and sensitivity concerns were addressed, and the cleaning was great. I usually dread and avoid the dentist because they always find some cause for fillings which are the source of my sensitivity. I expected to need several more after years without attention but Dr. Opokuaddo does not seem to recommend unnecessary work and I did not need any—who doesn’t love to hear that?

I had to go in for a tooth extraction and I was extremely nervous. What I feared would be a painful nightmare, turned out to be a wonderful relief! Honestly, I can’t think of any other experience I’ve ever had with a dentist that left me smiling and pain free!! I would recommend this place to anyone!! It was like going to a friend for help. I felt so comfortable that all my fears just fell away. The staff is very nice and the dentist is amazing!!

Very professional staff. I got the best cleaning I have ever had. I needed some additional periodontal work and she did it at the same appointment, istead of making me come back later.

I'm very selective when it comes to picking a dental office as most places seem to prioritize quantity over quality of care. I got that quality care feeling with Aya Dental, most of the staff here were personable and treated me with care and respect. The visit(annual exam) was efficient and painless. The dentist was very personable and amiable as we had casual conversation before she performed my cleaning and exam! She offered me great advice for the questions I asked and I didn't feel pressured into doing any unnecessary treatment. Thank you everyone at Aya Dental!
