Glad I decided to call 4th St! Everyone was very nice. You can tell customer service is important to them and that is rare these days. Julia my hygienist did a great job. I have never had someone so gentle yet very thorough and detail oriented. She explained to me everything she was doing and took her time Dr. Wood was very friendly and professional. The facility is extremely clean, modern and comfortable! I will definitely be coming back and recommending 4th St to all my family and friends!

Best dentist I have ever been to. My experiences with dentists and their offices before were never negative, but Dr. Wood demonstrates how doctors can go above and beyond when it comes to their patient's experience. Super cute office at a very convenient location if you live in the University Area or any surrounding neighborhoods. Always parking, adorable art and lobby, etc. Loved the addition of TVs to the ceilings, especially when I had to go in for a few longer procedures. The dental assistants I have had experiences with have been incredible, always giving me detailed explanations for all the questions I have (without making me feel stupid, which is a huge plus!). Highly recommend for anyone looking for a dentist.

I hate the numbing shot part. HATE. Today's procedure required one that I braced for....then barely even noticed when Dr. Wood did it. He is great, the staff is great. I love how instructive and communicative he is with them. So glad we found this dental office.

i honestly have never left a review for anywhere before, but reading the reviews helped me decide to book an appointment with them so i figured i would leave one! overall it was a great experience, the office is really cute and details feel very thought through. i don’t like going to the dentist usually, but they made it enjoyable and easy. i believe my hygienist was Mason and he was very sweet and did a thorough job cleaning my teeth while also taking the time to explain everything that he was doing and why. they also have a wide range of services and offerings which i’m excited to learn more about. the whole team seems wonderful and i am happy i found them!

I visited Dr. Wood and 4th St Dental after a VERY BAD experience at Victorian Village Dental Care where they chipped my tooth. I had recently relocated from Chicago so had only visited the previous dentist three times. Dr. Wood was friendly & conservative in his care. He basically said I didn't need all the fillings that the other dentist said I did. He fixed a chipped tooth that was damaged at the other dentist and charged 1/3 of the cost. I felt Dr. Wood listened to me and wanted to make me feel comfortable since I have dental anxiety and TMJ. He is an amazing dentist. During my cleaning/check up in December, he asked about my kid in college. His attention to detail amazed me since this was only my 3rd visit to the office. The practice is modern with cutting edge instruments and a tv on ceiling to watch while you're getting work done. They don't charge crazy fees e.g. to write a prescription like I was charged at Victorian Village Dental Care and they're not there to just make money by saying you need fillings that you don't need. 4th St Dental Studio is truly about the relationship with the patient and bringing the best care. I will recommend Dr. Wood and 4th ST Dental Studio to everyone I know looking for a dentist.

Cute office, kind staff and great doctor. Dr Woods even called me after a procedure to see how everything was going. I've never had a dentist do that. That was very considerate. At any rate, choosing a dentist can be daunting (definitely do NOT want to choose poorly in this area!), so rest assured 4th St Dental Studio is the right choice.

Best dentist I’ve ever been too! Staff was super nice and welcoming, and the atmosphere is inviting/modern and doesn’t look like a gross old doctor’s office. They had Netflix playing in the lobby and on the ceiling in the exam rooms. I can’t recommend them enough, and Dr. Wood was knowledgeable and really friendly!

I am recommending this office to everyone I know. If you struggle with nervousness or anxiety like I do the calming sense of the building and those inside will help put your mind at ease. The way they explained every single thing so that we were always on the same page. The way they could show you everything they saw on your own screen. Seriously 10 out of 10.

Moving to Columbus, I was worried about finding a good dentist that didn't charge an exorbitant amount. I corresponded with Jodi, in the office, and she was always so very kind and helpful (whether by email or in person). Mason was incredible. He was very kind and knowledgeable. He explained everything he was doing, answered any questions, cleaned my teeth better than I've ever had done, and gave me some tips as to how to keep my teeth in tip-top condition. Dr. Woods is very knowledgeable as well; I felt as though he listened to everything I was saying and wanted to come up with a game plan to correct my concerns. Another thing I appreciated, is I felt as though he was doing what was necessary for the health of my teeth, versus trying to sell unnecessary things or procedures. Overall, this is the most comfortable I have ever felt at the dentist. Starting from the office, to the hygienist, to the dentist, they all helped make an incredible first experience.

Where do I begin? This is only the second dentist office I’ve ever been to and I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Wood! From the layout of the office, to the staff and his personal call to check in after I had a couple fill ins, I recommend everyone to come here. He’s truly one of a kind, passionate about his craft and changing the perception of dental visits. I had a great experience here for an annual exam and cleaning. This is a very organized and streamlined office with gorgeous, fresh, and modern decor. Netflix streaming on the ceiling, succulents on the window sill, and music in the background. Wish all my dental experiences were this enjoyable.

I just think this is the best and most Gentle dentist I have been to yet. It was a great experience for me. My Grandkids even go here along with my daughter. We all think he does a fantastic job and we have referred a few of our other family members. You can't go wrong with this place

I so badly want to give a five star rating, the ambiance of the office is amazing, the dental staff is very kind but the receptionist was so rude. During my initial visit as a new patient she was very unpleasant and did not review any patient information. Upon scheduling my next appointment I requested an appointment for after 5pm due to my work schedule. She scheduled me for 4PM and said if I need to cancel, just call. The date of my next visit had come up and I was unable to leave work early. So, I attempted to contact the office and got no answer. I replied to the automatic text that I would need to reschedule. I then received a message “you’re not coming for your appointment?” I found the message unprofessional and I stated beforehand that I need to reschedule. She went on to tell me that a 48 hour notice is needed going forward. If I would have received this information after my first appointment it would have been helpful. I felt very rushed and forced to pick whatever was available. Due to the rest of the amazing staff it is no wonder the place is booked up. I just wish I had a better experience with the receptionist and the scheduling process.

I’ve been going to 4th Street Dental Studio since moving to Italian Village, and it is a great place. Dr. Wood and his friendly office staff make me feel comfortable and at home. Dr. Wood and the hygienists do a great job, they are very professional, and they deliver outstanding care every time I visit. Their team goes above and beyond to earn my trust! I highly recommend 4th Street Dental Studio if you’re looking for a dentist’s office in Italian Village and surrounding communities.

Upon arrival the atmosphere was inviting! I felt very much welcomed and comfortable. Dr. Robert not only educated me on the terminology he also provided me a printout of all work needing to be done. I would definitely recommend 4th Street Dental Studio.

I loved my experience, the office has a feel good vibe and great music while you wait. Ivanna was an exceptional hygienist, my teeth felt so clean after my appointment. Scheduling was a slight hassle because of how booked the office is, but that should tell you all you need to know. Dr. Wood was very pleasant and thorough. My one suggestion is more time spent going over the treatment plan, I felt somewhat rushed when the insurance piece was explained. Overall, would return, who knew the dentist could be so fun!

I called a month ago to schedule an appointment and asked if they take my insurance. "Yes, we do" they told me. 24 hours, only 24 hours, before my appointment they send me a link to complete my medical information and submit insurance. I arrive and the woman at the front desk tells me, they'd be happy to still treat me today but they don't take my insruance and it'll be $278 out of pocket. I showed her my dental insurance and reminded her that I was told they take it over the phone. She told me they don't specifically take my "version" of dental insurance but they do take the insurance providor I have. When I asked her to explain the difference of what the acronyms meant and why mine specifically wasn't accepted, she was unable to explain the difference or decipher the acronyms (which a quick Google search explained to me immediately). Felt like it was planned and she was expecting me to make a snap decision and just pay them becuase I was already there. She didn't seem to care. I've heard the place was solid so I gave it a try but felt more like a cash grab upon arrival.

The Dental Studio has a very nice staff they go over and beyond to make you feel comfortable and help you get in when you need to. I have recommended them to all my family and friends.

I usually dont rate places but this was honestly one of the best dental experiences I've had. The studio is very clean and modern. My dental hygienist was incredibly sweet and she had a lot of knowledge and addressed any questions I had. Dr Woods was extremely welcoming and super nice. the rooms themselves had a TV on the ceiling so you can relax as much as you can while getting your teeth cleaned

Welcoming and friendly office! I was overdue for a cleaning and they made it easy to schedule an appointment and establish myself as a new patient. The office is following all Covid guidelines and going above and beyond to make clients feel safe amidst this pandemic. I had the same dentist my whole life and I had to find one in Columbus once I settled here for good. The doctor and assistants and everyone here made the change a comfortable one (as pleasant as a dentist could be imo). The environment was relaxing and all the operating chairs have TVs above them so it makes your appointment go by quickly. Afterward, the billing and scheduling are done so well it takes the hassle away from your next appointment. The coolest feature to me was the text messages they send you. They send you reminders, such as to complete pre-appointment paperwork and to confirm your appointment, and they also send you thank you texts after you do stuff. It just adds to the easiness of the whole process with 4th Street!

By far the best experience I have had at a dentist. The staff is courteous, professional and friendly. The waiting room is clean and elegant. I have very high anxiety so when I was told I needed a root canal I was so overwhelmed and scared. But Dr. Wood and his staff were wonderful!!
