Take a good look at all the negative reviews and you'll notice a common theme. These people are pompous arrogant & down right rude. Basically the Walmart of dentistry. I left MID PROCEDURE because I felt so uncomfortable. Literally go anywhere else.

I was very pleased with my first visit here at Western dental Chandler location. The staff are very kind welcoming and professional . The doctors made me feel safe and made sure I understood everything properly I highly recommend and will definitely be back for my future visits .

I am super pleased with my experience so far here. I have both my dentist and orthodontist under one roof which is a bonus, but the staff are great and so nice! I got super ripped off by my last dental office and it put the fear of dentists in me for a while other reason, but Western Dental Chandler office cured me of it, so far, so good!

Worst dental experience I ever had, said they would take my insurance then waited until after procedure was completed to tell me it wasn't accepted, had to get on a 2 year payment plan, tried to contact them half way through to pay it off and received no response, now I'm finally done paying it off and there collection agency is calling me twice a day when I'm working, answered yesterday and they say they are trying to collect a debt, I ask what debt and they didn't even know!!! I sat on hold for 10 minutes as they supposedly searched for it, I finally hung up but this is by far the most shady company I've even dealt with, go to sunwest dental it's close by and won't rob you

If I could give a zero, I would. My best friend went here for her dentures and they were the worst looking set of teeth ever made. The pigmentation was bright pink and they were not made for a human mouth. She has been in and out of this office for appointments because they cannot seem to get it right. They call themselves professionals? I think not. Save yourself the aggravation, find somewhere else to go. Due to their multiple errors, they now expect her to pay them more money.

Dr.collins & Denise are wonderful. The first time I came for my bridge impressions it was the worst experience, but now that Dr Colin’s is here omg!!! I didn’t feel a thing! I’m very very pleased! Thank you Dr Colllins & Denise for making this experience way painless!

Western Dental has a wonderful staff. My mom went to get work done and she's been raving about how well she was treated and how they were able to refer her to the appropriate specialists and her teeth ha e never felt better.

Love this place, they’ve always given multiple options and have the nicest receptionists and assistants. Definitely will be returning for more routine work.

Went in to this location for cleaning. Assistant kept bugging me to schedule a next appointment for 6 months out but I was very clear that I was moving to Michigan so I won’t make an appointment. I now get an appointment confirmation in my email for an appointment I never even made (I wonder if they get bonuses and she scheduled me anyway?). Called 5 times, every time I got pushed to the 24 hour center, but then waited on hold there for over 10 minutes until I finally gave up. I just want my appointment I never even made cancelled.

This place is horrible.. I've been in a temporary bridge for months now. One dentist said I needed to have my gums worked on and gave me an example" it's like having your cuticles pushed back". After seeing the specialist, he stated that was inaccurate and that I would need to have a different procedure done and would need to get 2 partials or a longer bridge. I finally decided I need to go elsewhere, so I can get exactly what I need. I called to see if they had any idea on how much of my money would be refunded and the girl in front went over a few things, she also said they'd deduct the 300.00 to remove the temp bridge which is a total joke cause that can be removed with my fingers. While using a water pick it came out. Not sure how this place is still in business.

The friendly x-ray technician is the only reason I didn’t walk out of the place. I’ve had to come for 2 treatments now, and the front desk staff is rude, and they are always behind. Don’t bother coming early because you’ll wait 45 minutes after you were supposed to be seen, all the while the receptionists are on their phones, gossiping about patients, or giving you dirty looks. Extremely unpleasant experience overall.

I initially chose this place because they are open on Saturdays but as time went on, there was only one day a week that they manage orthodontics! One day! Very inflexible. It is also difficult speaking to any receptionists as they are hardly professional or friendly. If you ha e insurance, I suggest you go elsewhere. It’s not worth the hassle.

I have come to this facility before with no issues, but today as very disappointing. I forgot my ID today.... no big deal right? Ive been there before, I had over a thousand in cash, did not have insurance nor did not need financing. I just wanted a cleaning. Girls at front desk put up a wall immediately when I couldn't find my ID. One girl kept saying she needs it for insurance.. I said I dont have insurance Im paying cash, she said well we need it for financing. I said I dont need financing (and even if I did I already have a care credit account so I wouldnt go to them for financing anyway) I asked if I could reschedule but the looks on their faces was a huge turn off so I just said nevermind I'll go elsewhere. I was really looking forward to getting a cleaning today. I also looked it up it is not required by law to show identification for a dentist. Especially when I didnt even get to the doctor and was VERY ready to pay in full in cash. I am not look like I have money but you really shouldn't assume people are going to need financing . I thought this dentist would be good since it was right around the corner from my house. I guess not.

Worst customer service I have ever seen in dental service. I would bring my dog to Western Dental to get teeth cleaned. I am truly amazed they are still in business.

Was seen for a tooth extraction. The technician and doctor were very clear with what they were doing and with the expected outcome. The front desk staff were very helpful.

Always professional alway friendly same staff

Western Dental Literally tries to steal money from people. I got a over 700 dollar bill a year later. I already had a Genesys credit card to pay for it all. I was quoted exactly what i paid and am still paying back to this day. Then they come back a year later with a bill for me and tell me what they told was (covered) by my insurance (a portion) ended up not being covered by my insurance (they quoted it being covered) and try and stick me with the bill for there mistake. To top it off they say they will make me pay only half of the bill. Really? Suprise billing/Robbery is what this is. These posts will hit yelp and all other social media shortly

Would give this place a negative rating if I could. I waited a hour in the lobby after scheduling an appointment weeks in advance. Schedule a cleaning and exam only but only got an exam. If you like people wasting your time they go here. I will never be going back and I would recommend never going here.

To sum it up, Western Dental told me all the exams would be free, then charged me $304 for exams. I went into Western Dental bright and early on a Saturday which was my day off. Everything went downhill the minute I checked in. After the front desk staff checked me in and saw that I was there for a cleaning, she immediately let me know that the doctor who's normally present was not in the office that day. (And they failed to notify me of this prior to my appt.) Then she went on to say that they have a new doctor on staff and they have to check and see if she's in network with my insurance. (I'm thinking, if Western Dental itself is in network with my insurance, why would they have staff members who aren't in network?) Then, I told her if I wasn't able to get the cleaning I'd just go home. She had the nerve to say, "Well you can just come back on Monday", as if people don't work Monday through Friday. (There's a reason I'm here on a Saturday early in the morning.) Since I only wanted a cleaning, I decided to leave. Then she let me know that they could at least do the exams, and that because I'm a new patient it's routine that they do exams -- which would be FREE. At the end of my visit, I was charged $304. One of the staff told me she had put a copy of my receipt in an envelope and handed it to me. After I got home I reviewed the contents of the envelope, there was an itemized receipt with the breakdown of the charges. They were very slick in doing this as the receipt I signed in the office simply showed my balance of $304. I reviewed the items on my receipt with my insurance company and learned that one of the items was a preventive service (100% covered by insurance) and the other 4 weren't covered; my insurance rep sated that the office should've given me the option of whether or not I wanted to pay for it. So here we are 10 days later and the office REFUSES to follow up with my insurance company or directly with me. I actually got in touch with someone right before Christmas and I was told that the office manager was TOO BUSY to take my call because the office was very busy with surgeries. (I'm thinking to myself, well she's not personally doing the surgeries and designated staff run the front desk, so what is the problem?) The staff at Western Dental in Chandler were very slick and pulled a fast one. Who in the hell pays $300 for a routine cleaning?!?! The proper thing to do is to present the patient with an option of non-covered services THEN ASK THE PATIENT if they are willing to pay for it, not tell them that all exams are free then slap them with a bill. When you're not in uniform, people sure do treat you differently because they THINK you're a civilian.

Definitely recommended! This location showed me so much love I couldn’t reject the service. Especially when I was in serious pain. They took good care of me and got right to the problem.!

I’m aware these reviews don’t do much, but if you’re looking for any sign to not come here, this is it. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I was having a lot of pain where my wisdom teeth were coming in, so I scheduled an appointment through their 24/7 customer service over the phone, who said they took my insurance, and scheduled at this location because they had the soonest appointment available. I was on my way to my appointment and the receptionist had called me to try and reschedule my appointment because they were very busy that day, but I told them it was urgent and really couldn’t reschedule, so they agreed to do limited xrays on me. I got xrays done, and was told by the dentist my wisdom teeth were coming in, told me to take antibiotics and rushed out of the room. They asked which pharmacy I wanted to pick up from, I told them, and waited a few hours to call the pharmacy, which said they didn’t have it. All weekend I had tried calling the dentists office to double check what pharmacy they had called, but was redirected to the 24/7 customer service line every time I called, and said I should just go to the dentists office in person and ask them that way, because they couldn’t get a hold of the dentist’s office. I took it upon myself to call other pharmacies nearby until I found the one who had my prescription. They spelled my name wrong so I had to pay for my antibiotics, which I didn’t realize they had misspelled until I got home. I made a follow up appointment for more xrays and a consultation to see if I could move forward and get my wisdom teeth removed. They presented me with a huge bill and said “because I don’t have insurance” which I do, and gave them, who they contacted and said they didn’t take my insurance! I told them that their 24/7 customer service said they did take my insurance, and was told “they say that to everyone.” I’m now back to square one, and expecting to feel my wisdom teeth in pain again, because the dentist said they will start hurting again until I get them removed. I’m back to square one, and trying to find another dentist who will actually take my insurance and not waste my time. I hope this helped, if you needed any convincing.

I called 10 min and said I was running late. Was told over the phone I could be 15 min late. I arrived at 17 min. Receptionist wants to play that game. Was told I have to reschedule or wait. I said I would wait. Dentist is running 20 min behind so how in the hell was I late if the dentist is running behind? This Karen didn't even use her customer service skills to let me know the dentist was behind. Rude! Then she wanted to argue and give me a piece of her mind which I decline from her drama issues. Tripping! Maybe it's racial but I'm here for it if we on that page.

This Crooks they will sell your social security number they will take your account and edit the account everyday get ready to have your information played with and Social security number sold on the black market it’s a Hispanic girl that calls me everyday and edits my account and they lie these people lies they are thief’s they will play with your information this company Is a scam artist never come here unless you want your money played with run for your life there are no Good people here.

I should of have chosen better this office is a scam western dental period has been a scam they promise. They will follow up they will Not they will send you with a bill and send you on your way it’s a sad shame I should of found a place that wants all patients I feel like if I had blonde hair and blue eye I would have been given the best treatment lesson learned never again pay them off and never come here again worst mistake you can make.

I wasn't really impressed with Western Dental and most likely will never use them again. They wanted a doctors referral prior to being seen for a dental exam. This is rediculous since Western Dental won't pay for me to see a physician this is nothing more than a knee jerk reaction and as such its unlikely that Western Dental will be in business for the long term.

I've been going to this dentist for about 8 months and they are alright I guess. I needed to have an emergency tooth extraction and they did that really well and I had this whole plan set up so for my yearly check up I would get my teeth cleaned to and wouldn't have to pay anything extra. I went to the office and asked about my teeth cleaning and they said it would cost me an extra $135 when I was originally told it wouldn't cost me anything extra and I'm upset. After i have everything paid off with this dental company I'm never coming back.

Norah was the one that checked me in and was working with me regarding insurance. She definitely went above and beyond for me! The rest of the staff that helped were all awesome. From the x-rays to the cleaning. Everyone was so helpful and answered my billion questions I had. I recommend this place!!!

Don’t bother calling in for help because they are no help whatsoever all they are there for us to make sure they can get as much visits and money out of you as possible instead of offering a resolution. They told me that they would set up an extraction for an emergency service instead they want to send me a consultation at another appointment to see the ortho and then a possibility to schedule an appointment after driving 30 miles to see them when they promised they took my insurance I get there they tell me that there’s a discrepancy with that and they validated everything over the phone. Great Staff! It’s a drive from where I live now but it’s worth it. ?

This place is TRULY disgusting for a dentist office. Machines are old, equipment is old, random cans of co2 tanks laying around. Very plain looking on the inside an out. Unfortunately the dental hygienist, had pour hygiene herself. This made me very uncomfortable and will NOT be returning. There are way better dental offices in the valley you could spend your money on. If i could give 0 stars I would.
