I get so tired of every time I go in its always another student I was there last month for teeth cleaning w/ Ashton she said I needed 2 crowns I sat the appt 1 month later went there have a new student Lena my crowns will cost $1350.00 for 2 . I feel when you pay that much money you should be able to request who does the work. Shame on them once you get comfortable w/ a student they should finish what they started.

They schedule you for 30 appoints just to get teeth replaced when it should only take one day.. they are definitely milking people for their money I've went to 5 different appointments just for them to talk and I work can't keep taking time off so when I told them what I wanted done they basically refused to do what I asked do not go here you'll regret it

I would not recommend anyone going to u of l dentistry especially if ur going to see the prothisdontis they do not know what they r doing? They did an awful job on me.

I have never been talked to so rudely in my life! I called today bc I broke a tooth and am in severe pain. I pressed option #2 on the phone bc i haven't been there in 2 years. I explained I have been there a few times before, it's been a little over 2 years and I'm in pain from a broken tooth and that I was up most of the night bc it hurts so bad. She said "well we are booked until July 8.".(today is March 21). I said It used to be that if you are in pain, they get you in right away. She said "we are booked today, Friday and Monday. You have to start calling beginning on Tuesday and plead your case. I asked can you scheduleme for Tuesday? She said no bc we don't do it like that. You have to call in each morning at 8am and plead your case. I told her they used to schedule emergencies in advance for the same week (actually the next day). She said its always been as she is telling me. I said, "I was there 2 yrs ago with an emergency and 20 years ago with a painful emergency, both times I was scheduled in advance for the next day and didn't have to call each morning and plead my case. She said "I'm not going to discuss that with you. I told you what to do. So I hung up. If they dont schedule people in advance for emergencies then how are they booked Fri and Monday? My mouth is throbbing, I have tears on the right side. She was so hateful, even her tone was rude. Very unprofessional. Uncaring about a dental emergency. I understand being booked but she could talk nice and normal and not sure how emergencies got booked in advance if "they don't do that". So after hanging up, I called a REAL dentist with a caring staff who doesn't hate people and actually cares about their reputation so they are nice to callers. I'm on the schedule with a professional dentist office Monday. Never again!

Very bad you go in for emergency an still have to wait a month...when you ask the dr why it will take so long he says everyone here is in pain you can always go somewhere else an that's just how it is ....I was like wow very professional

I wasn’t given consistent information from any dentist I spoke with terrible communication. Also when I decided to go else where the dental assistant refused to take accountability for the terrible service.

It is not an easy process at all and expensive to have your teeth replaced . Though they do not mention it nutrition is critical.

Had an appointment for my husband this morning--been scheduled since last week--we are 2 hours away, so left this morning & was almost all the way there when they called and said it had to be rescheduled--if there was an issue, why wasn't this looked at long before now--right when we were on our way and almost there!!!! From now on when you make an appointment with us, make sure we have an appointment and you know what is going on before you have us drive 100 miles!!!!! All issues should have been ironed out before even making the appointment!!!! So inconsiderate for dentist people who are suppose to be professional's!!!!!

Dr. Gray is very kind, professional, and has a great bedside manner. I appreciate the she takes the time to explain things to me and she makes sure I feel as comfortable as possible during the procedures. Her assistant Janet has also always been kind, informative and welcoming with every visit! Thank you both for everything you've done and will be doing for me in the future. Dr. Alma is also my dentist and i can say the same about her. I appreciate her kind and informative bedside manner as well.

Had 2 teeth pulled, it was horrible. They kicked me out of office after my appointment and didn't give me ANYTHING for my pain or even a antibiotic, was screaming in pain.... Had to walk over to the Louisville hospital, I will NEVER go back here ever again!

I’m only giving this office 2 stars because the hygienists are very friendly. My husband has had great experiences here, but mine have been the opposite. First came here when we moved here, and the dentist kept commenting how incredibly close together my teeth were. She insisted I use a different kind of floss. I took her at her word and kept up using that floss for next 6 mo even though I found it difficult to use. I switched to a different dentist closer to work, and by that point I had several new cavities!!! I hadn’t had any new ones for about 20 years. My next experience with them was because an old filling needed a crown. I’d heard that my current dentist was expensive, so I made appointment at UofL to see difference in price. I explained everything on phone to staff. They said I’d need to have exam before they could tell me a cost. Had to wait a month for an appointment. When I went in the dentist did not even examine me. She took the treatment plan I’d brought with me and gave it to front desk. What??? They gave price (same as my current dentist). Then, billed me for a full exam when the dentist saw me for 60 seconds. Never never again!

This place is great. They are never in a hurry, listen to what you have to say, and are very reasonably priced.
