My experience with Aetna has been good. No copays, never any issues with payment.lots of good extra incentives for WellCare.
I swear Kentucky wants everyone to be toothless. Can't even find a dentist that accepts this insurance!
Switches your insurance and doesn't tell you after the fact. Call the "Member Services" line AND NO ONE CAN ANSWER MY SIMPLE QUESTIONS without asking if they can call me back after they do some "research" AND NEVER FRICKEN CALL ME BACK. I'd give this a 0 star if I could. Going back to wellcare, you can bet that! If I wasn't pregnant I'd go without healthcare until I can actually switch during the season for it ? says a lot about a company.
This is the worst insurance you could possibly have. Doesn’t cover anything. MOST places won’t accept it either. When I called their phone line to ask for help finding a tmj doctor, I couldn’t even ask. I pressed two to talk to someone and they just hung up on me and said lines busy. Wouldn’t even let me wait.
Worst managed care organization in Kentucky! They lie about everything, each person you speak too will tell you something different. No supervisors available when request one, yet they claim all calls are monitored and recorded but never can catch the lies they tell to members! Denies anything to keep from paying it.
Aetna has always been supportive to me and my family. I haven’t experienced any inconveniences while being insured with them. They have always been very helpful and mindful when I have questions or concerns.
Aetna offers great service and I am glad to have them as my insurance provider! They are always nice and answer any questions I have!
I am so glad to have Aetna. They have answered any questions I have had in a timely manner and the staff is always professional when I call in for help.
Worst and unprofessional staffs never ever gonna choose the aetna in my life!
This is the worst and dumbest group of individuals that I have spoken to in quite some time. All Aetna Better Health divisions are sub par, but this one takes the cake. My heart hurts for anyone that has to endure their member services...SWITCH MANAGED CARE ORGANIZATIONS...it will be the best thing you do today.
called five times to check on a benefit I couldnt find info on on their website. each time I reached the department, I reached someone who was on mute. dead silence until I said that I knew they were there and that they had me on mute, then the call would disconnect.
My adult son is a tyoen1 diabetic and Aetna has kept him waiting for insulin, test strips and pump.supplies. After a month delay he was told they have until February 16 to make a decision on the scripts his doctor wrote. Well the 16th came and went and now they have sent more paperwork that must be filled out and returned before they will decide.. All of these things he needs to survive! It's constant red tape followed by more red tape. His doctors office said they have NEVER had this kind of problem with other companies. We are mailing a letter to the Kentucky Department of Insurance tomorrow and I suggest you all do the same! They are messing with people's lives!
If I could give this company no stars, I would. Worthless. I've been lied to several times in regards to medication coverage. This is a medication that I need due to immune system problems. It helps protect me from infection. But Aetna doesn't care about that. They only care about the bottom line, cash. The run around I've get from this organization is horrendous. I advise all to avoid this company at all costs.I plan on leaving this company asap. The only thing left I can do is to write the company about their deplorable actions. And to give Aetna one star on every review I can fine. PS To Aetna, I dare you to call me to resolve my concerns, you have all my contact info.
I am a diabetic who chose Aetna. They have kept me waiting for insulin for other a month now and have been hospitalized twice. They say it could take another 30 days before I receive my medical supplies.
Pretty bad can't keep snacks in a market
