I have had to visit Dr. Desai twice this year for root canals u fee a bridge. I give him and the staff at Carolina Endodontics 5 stars they are all amazing and helpful. Thank you Dr Desai for your great work.

Dr. Desai is the best! I had pain on the whole side of my mouth. He figured out which tooth, which was not easy, and fixed it. The best manner with his patients!!

I have had a couple of root canals done by Dr. Desai and he has made it a great experience! Dr. Desai thoroughly explains everything in a gentile and caring manner. Amy is so supportive and pleasant during the entire process. From the minute you step into the office, you are greeted warmly and efficiently by Barb, Michelle, Bonnie and others....Carolina Endodontics makes root canals so easy to endure!

Thanks to all who posted about deceptively worded billing practices. I am glad I saw the reviews when looking up travel time to my appointment today and was able to confirm that they were out of network directly with my provider even though they used a lot of verbal judo to dance around specifically answering my questions about that. I already had my reservations about seeing this practice for the same recurring issue for the 2nd possibly 3rd time, and their dishonesty in regards to billing really solidified that it was best for me to avoid them, and find another provider.

Dr. Desai did an amazing job! He did the root canal without any pain at all and his staff was extra friendly!

Could not have had a better experience getting my root canal at Carolina Endodontics. They worked me in under short notice due to being in pain, and the procedure was over much quicker than I expected. Dr Huffer and Mrs Rachel were absolutely fantastic, and walked me through the process step-by-step. I drove from Greenville specifically to see this practice, and it was more than worth it. Highly recommended.

Do not use this company. They Double bill, the service is poor. And they laugh about it. Quote ”We are not responsible for provide inaccurate information”

Saw Dr. Desai this morning for a root canal. This is my fourth root canal but my first here at Carolina Endodontics, 130 stonemark lane. He was able to see me at 7:45 AM this morning (first appointment of the day). That was after scheduling through my regular dentist Dr. Bradford Smith (Clemson road before you get to earth road) the previous morning. He’s a great general dentist. I believe he recommends most if not all his patients to Carolina endodontics and for good reason. Dr. Desai.... HANDS DOWN his was the most gentle and painless application of antistectic I have EVER had! And I’ve had a lot. I hardly even knew he had injected it. Injecting this stuff must be an art form which he has perfected. Because I’ve had totally opposite experiences with other dentists in the past. He was patient and meticulous (mine was not the easiest root canal of the day) and always concerned about my pain level. Which was negligible. He and his assistant Amy (who might be one of the nicest people in Columbia), worked hand in glove together. Eight hours later I’ve had no pain and no soreness at all. To have none at all is unusual. I think they are a little bit more expensive than average but the care level during the procedure exceeds the extra expense. If you need a root canal it’s worth every penny to see these folks. I highly recommend!

I wish I could give them zero stars. The work was marginal at best. Billing practices were extremely dishonest IMO. I noticed I am not the only one this has happened to. Their office told me that they participated in my insurance. But buyer beware, they are only giving you a part of the answer. Your actual bill may be at out-of-network rates costing you thousands of dollars. Their office staff admitted to me that "they never actually tell the client upfront they are not in-network when asked about insurance, the client must research it".... WOW, I thought. Did she really just admit that???? I specifically called prior to being serviced and asked. As medical professionals I took them at their word. After months of dealing with it I paid them in full. However, they will not admit their dishonesty and mistake to their collections agency. After some of the rudest, most condescending customer service calls I have ever encountered; now, they will no longer accept my calls. What a shame for them. I have paid them in full, even after having been lied to about coverage. The resolution could have been so simple....

Excellent friendly service. I was so thankful they took me the Monday before Tuesday July 4th. Most offices were closed due to the holiday. I was in extreme pain and they did the complete root canal so I didn't have to suffer for 2 days.

If I could give them a 0 star for service I would. The dental work was on par, but the practice did not communicate that there were 2 separate charges, then charged "our out of network" price because they could. I was given a quote which was not all encompassing. They never stated it would be more the $2000 then charged me an additional $600 because I had a second procedure. The charges for the second procedure we NEVER discussed. I give them 2 thumbs down. Should have let it go to collections and not paid them.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They were open on Friday until noon just in case someone had and issue. They don't want anyone to be in pain over the weekend. That shows me that they really care about their patients. Dr. Desai did a great job. I had no pain at all and he made sure everything was done right. He was comforting and checked with me throughout the entire procedure to make sure I was alright. If you need anything done, this is the place!

Saw Dr Desai. What a fantastic Dr. He never hurt me. Was very comforting and assuring. If you have had any bad experiences with a root canal you can see Dr. Desai with out any worries. Will definitely do business again.

Best experience I have had with major dental work! Dr. Desai and his assistant, Amy, explained everything as they went along, we're gentle and I had no pain whatsoever! I was totally blown away! Highly recommend if you need a root canal!
