This morning was so bittersweet to me ?? Dr. Richard Boyd Orthodontics has changed my life ??. On a scale of 1-10 I’d rate them 300⚠️⚠️⚠️ No! But seriously BOYD ORTHODONTICS took GREAT care of me! I was on a 3year plan to transform my smile they did it TWO..If you need braces ? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. Thank you so much Myesha & DR BOYD!!!! Thank me later ❤️

I scheduled an appointment to inquire about Invisalign because I have a crooked upper tooth that I would like to fix. I put the appointment in my calendar incorrectly and realized I was running about 15 minutes behind while I was on my way to the appointment and called to let them know. The staff was so kind and accommodating and they were still able to see me when I got there. After doing some photos and x-rays, the orthodontist came to speak to me about my options. She recommended I go to a dentist as opposed to getting Invisalign because it is a better option for my situation. She told me exactly what to tell the dentist and even sent the information to my dentist for me. It is obvious that they care about what is best for their patients and not just about making money. Once I get my tooth fixed, I will definitely be going back to them get a retainer. I highly recommend them to anyone needing orthodontic work because their staff is awesome and they will give you the best option for your situation.

I got my braces 2 days ago and it was amazing they were so gentle and explained everything Jan helped me pick my colors and told me everything I needed to hear. Dr. Boyd also checked on us later that day. I recommend Boyd orthodontics if you want quality care and a great experience. They also give you ice cream ?

I had a consultation regarding my bite. I am an older adult. Ashley was terrific and Dr. Boyd was pleasant and honest about my options. I may or may not have work done there but based on my experience, they are recommended.

I had a horrible experience today. I was a patient of Mr Boyd. I went to have my attachments removed. I paid $150. I dont know if he was having a bad day but was a totally different person from when i first meet him. His staff is excellent all of them. But anyway he was very ruff with me. He didn't speak when he entered the room with me. He was pulling so hard on my lip it split and was bleeding. When he was done he told me to put my mask back on. Remind you he did not offer to rinse the acrylic pieces out my mouth. When i got to my vehicle i removed my mask and my face and nose had sooo much white residue from the stuff off my teeth alll i could do was go and cry. I work in a nail salon so i know what acrylic can do to you.I have recommend so many people here but NEVER again and i will keep telling bout my experience!!!!!!!

Boyd’s Orthondontics did my sister and I’s braces and they’ve been nothing but nice and compliant. The staff there makes you very welcome and like your at home. And if you ever get Chris, treat him good, he’s the man ??

We absolutely love Dr. Boyd and his staff. We have been seeing them for 6 years, many years before my daughter ever got her braces and we love everything about their office. We drive all the way from Lexington, because we love the way we are treated at Dr. Boyd’s office. The staff are so warm and welcoming and I couldn’t imagine going elsewhere. My daughter loves how great everyone is at Dr. Boyd’s office.

This place is amazing. The office environment was very clean. There was refreshments for the customers. The entire staff was friendly and smiling. Everybody is giving off positive energy. I am from out of state and my bonded retainer broke. Dr. Boyd was amazing and so helpful!

I moved from out of state and did not have an orthodontist in town when I broke my bonded retainer. It was very uncomfortable so I called Dr. Boyd’s office and got in on the same day. Everyone was so friendly and got me in quickly. I was in and out in 25 minutes with a new retainer and no more pain!

Went in for a consultation today and was able to get my braces the same day. Staff was also very friendly and knowledgable! I am very pleased!!!!

Went in 1 April for a consultation and walked out with braces. Very professional and courteous staff that doesn’t waste time! They get the job done right in an efficient manner. Dr. Boyd is awesome! Set up An consultation For possible treatment, my appointment was confirmed on Friday. I woke up this morning and had emergency car trouble, Called to see if I could reschedule. My son had his braces placed this morning, the entire Boyd Orthodontics team was so gracious to both of us. Our experience from initial consultation to todays visit was great. We are so glad we chose Boyd Orthodontics!

Dr. Boyd and his orthodontic team did my braces when I was in middle school. I had them for 23 months! I ended up needing a second round of braces on my bottom teeth a couple of years or so after that. Those he put on free of charge. Which he didn’t have to do because I’m pretty sure it was because I didn’t wear my retainer and my teeth moved. Recently, I broke something on my permanent wire retainer and was able to get an appointment immediately. I went back this morning for the first time in, I don’t know, 7 or 8-ish years. I got there early and was right back out the door before the time my appointment was even scheduled for. Check in, repair retainer, check out. Done. The staff was as pleasant as always. It was nice to see a couple of familiar faces after such a long time!

My youngest son got braces at Dr. Boyd's office six years ago. My son is autistic, and dentist/doctor appointments can be very difficult for him. Dr. Boyd is awesome and so is his staff. They never treated my son with impatience, even when it was difficult for him to comply with their directions. On top of the wonderful chair-side manner of the staff, which is reason enough to choose Dr. Boyd and his offices, they are also at the forefront of orthodontic technology. When we originally went in for a consultation, we had previously been told that the only way to correct my son's teeth would be through oral surgery, and that we should just leave well enough alone. Dr. Boyd immediately said that the dentist who had given us that advice was wrong and that braces would fix the problem, but it would take about four years. Well, he was wrong about that. It only took three years before my son got his braces off and he has a perfect smile to show for it. Recently (and this is after a full two years of no contact from us), my son's permanent retainer came out and we had to call to get an appointment. Not only did they know who was calling without me even having to say who I was, they managed to get us an appointment for the next day. All of the staff who had been there at his last appointment still remembered him, and the new staff is just as awesome and helpful as the rest. I can't recommend Dr. Boyd highly enough.

I first met Dr.Boyd and all his staff about 4 yrs ago with my niece and nephew were patients. They are very straight forward to you about if,when why, cost ect... and now that I have two boys of my own needing braces I gulped, but they actually insisted on not havi g two in braces at once bc of cost if course completely my choice but it wasnt the money Dr.Boyds office doesn't strive for the money, it what is hidden behind that big grin after the job is done,... beautiful teeth!

Our daughter had her braces put on this morning and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. The staff was great and the timeliness of the visit was exceptional. Everything was explained clearly, and most importantly, our daughter was happy with the whole experience.

I’ve had the BEST orthodontic experience at Boyd Orthodontics! I lived in the area temporarily and they were incredibly accommodating to help me finish my treatment while away from my home office. Dr. Boyd was attentive and new just what I needed. He is great at what he does and I was very impressed with how quickly they got a lot of work done. The staff there is incredible. They are so warm and they were so accommodating to my situation. I was able to get appointments easily and right away and the office atmosphere is wonderful. I cannot day enough great things about this office. Go there!!

Very professional and dedicated staff. They work very diligently and ensure that customers expectations are met. Orthodontics are not cheap, but they work with anyone to meet their financial threshold. If you work all week and cannot meet their schedule, may have to work something else. Their businesses are closed on Saturdays.

We have just returned to the Columbia area and would have none other than Boyd Orthodontics complete our youngest child's braces. We have experienced nothing but the best care and great relationships with Dr. Boyd and his staff. We don't live close to the office anymore but it's certainly worth every mile we drive to get there to have the most expert, personal and confident care.
