There was bit of wait but thats not Banner’s fault, it was busy and they were short on beds. Staff was very friendly. Gave a nice warm blanket and were always professional. My surgery went great too—saved my life. I have a feeling a lot of these 1-star folks think they’re the only ones in the valley with emergency health needs and expect hospitals to kick people out of beds to make room.

Went to the ED here and got prompt check-in wait was minimum. Got taken back and was greeted by Nurse Kyle he was very attentive and informative. Checked on me the whole time and let me know I was in good hands. Other nurse tried to set up the IV and failed twice Kyle took over and found the vain the first try and it was painless. I want to let Nurse Kyle know what an asset he is to the hospital and his passion for what he does outshines over all. He made my painful visit comfortable and put me at ease. People like Nurse Kyle are few and far between. I sure hope his Superior knows what a valuable employee they truly have. Thank you Nurse Kyle !!! YOU ROCK ?

I went to the ER because I was passing a kidney stone. When I was checked in I was given a bed. The staff walked away. I fainted before I could get into bed. My blood pressure was high and I was in an immense amount of pain. I came to and stayed on the floor a moment to get my bearings. The staff yanked open the curtains and started yelling that I could not lay on the floor and to get up. They kept repeating this. They did not ask what happened or if I was okay. They did not take my vitals. I kept saying I'm sorry because I could not think clearly, and they kept saying that's fine just don't lay on the floor. I have a mental disability. They treated me that way because of it. I just needed help getting in to bed and some type of relief from the pain. This was absolutely abelist and discrimination against my disability. I will never go there again without an advocate who's not disabled, so they treat them with dignity. This is unacceptable and bigoted.

Oh if you’re looking to get yelled at and spoken down to. This is absolutely the place for you! The charge nurse in the ER is very special. She’s capable of yelling at a parent with questions in front a scared and hurt child. She has the empathy of sociopathic snake and the bedside manner of a bridge troll. In general, people here don’t or can’t answer questions. I’m unsure if it’s a lack of communication skills, knowledge, or if everyone is just as awful, judgmental, and unskilled as Kylie. With any luck, nothing will ever happen to the child she’s carrying and she’ll never have to know what it’s like to be torn apart in front of her child.

I went to the hospital for severe back pain. I sat in the waiting room for 4 hours with no updates. This aggravated my condition even more. Once I finally got in the room the physician assistant came into my room once to tell me they were going to order a cat scan and blood work and once to discharge me no times in between that. I did not receive pain meds until I was discharge so I laid there in pain the entire 8 hours I was there. They did not help me at all I went home with the same issues with no instructions from them. This was the worse experience I ever had at a hospital.

The staff is okay but be prepared to wait a minimum of 4-6 hours.

I had to go to the emergency room here during the pandemic, not for Covid-19 though. The staff did a great job trying to make me comfortable and getting me seen quickly. It's an ER, so there will naturally be a wait, but it wasn't excessive. I got the test I needed, my prescription and was sent on my way within a few hours. Even billing was easy to handle later on. I hope you never need an Emergency Room, but if you do, this one was great.

The banner hospitals never do anything. The staff sits around and talks, they dismiss anything you try to tell them, they leave you in a room alone for hours and wont let you talk to anyone. I feel more like a hiderence and prisoner until they discharge you and send you on your way. I wouldnt recommend this hospital to anyone.

The ER staff have been less than pleasant the few times I've been in. If you're not being dramatic or gushing body fluid, you will wait hours on hours to be seen. No matter why you're there. If you look fine, you're fine to them. Their labor and delivery is much better, I will say. I had a good experience delivering my baby there. But the emergency room is terrible.

I felt like I tore a muscle. Went into ER and they did XRay (I knew wasn't bone) and EKG and said they couldn't do anything else. Completely waste of time and money.

I went in with excruciating tooth pain and my dentist wouldn’t see me cause I tested positive a few days prior and so they put me in a room with terrible pain took about and hour or so for them to just tell me we can’t do anything for you and I have to wait until the pharmacy opens to get any sort of pain medication. Do not go here at any cost they don’t care for your health and just want to get paid for you going in there. Complete disgrace of a medical facility!
