If there is one word to describe Dr. Lafferty it is gentle! After going to many dentists throughout the years, for the first time in my life I never felt the needle go in. He is so patient, caring and very through. In a society where most professionals want to get you in and out so as to move on to the next patient, Dr. Lafferty takes the time hear your concerns and addresses them with kindness, gentleness and precision. I even fell asleep while he was working on me. I highly recommend him.

Another dentist reccomended that I have a tooth pulled and quickly referred me to an endodontist and then a dental surgeon. I was skeptical about that diagnosis and looked for a second opinion. Dr Lafferty has kept an eye on the tooth for the last year and it has given no more problems. ABQ Gentle Dentistry has a comfortable, friendly office and Dr Lafferty can do any required work such as extractions, crowns and implants, himself The dental hygienist is experienced and does an excellent job cleaning teeth. I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Lafferty and his staff are AMAZING! After 2 years of braces and an implant I was told by my orthodontist that my teeth were as good as they were going to get. One cleaning with Dr. Lafferty and he addressed everything I hated about my teeth and let me know when I was ready he could help. What an understatement that was! He and his staff went above and beyond to meticulously remove my old implant and cap, replacing them with beautiful news ones that made all the difference in the world! I used to hide my teeth as much as possible, now I can’t stop smiling!! Thank you Dr. Lafferty!

I am terrified of going to the dentist and can barely keep my act together when I’m there. I called Dr Laffertys office having never seen him before and they took me in very quickly. The staff from front desk on were smiling, kind and compassionate. Dr Lafferty did a great job getting a tooth pulled and checked with me to be sure I was doing okay throughout the procedure. Virtually pain free and even the bill didn’t cause much pain either. Going back.

I have been going here for years! Everyone is so nice and caring and amazing. They honestly care and make sure you are completely comfortable. Whenever anyone is looking for a new dentist, I ALWAYS recommend Gentle Dentistry. I got my mom to actually go after complaining about tooth pain for years and even one of my co-workers switched to Dr. Lafferty, even though she lives by Cottonwood Mall.

They are always very conscious of my anxiety around the dentist and prescribe me a sedative to take so I'm more comfortable and give topical numbing even for cleanings if it's bothering me. Dr. Lafferty listens to my concerns where other dentists have dismissed me and he won't recommend procedures or fillings unless they are absolutely required. They really listen to their patients which is nice.

We were in town for a couple of days and had a crown come loose. They got me in the next day and reglued it. Unfortunately a couple of hours later the tooth broke, not any fault of the dentist. They got me in and replaced the crown with a new one the same day. WOW!!! All-around excellent dentist and exceptional service and staff. Wish we weren't from Minnesota or he would be our dentist. 5 stars!!!! Thanks Dr.Lafferty

Had a wonderful experience with Gentle Dentistry. They were able to get me in quickly to fix a chipped tooth and did a wonderful job.

ABQ Gentle Dentistry was a blessing for me when I was having sharp pain in my tooth. Being from out of state and needing an emergency dentist appointment, I was concerned about going to a dentist I had never met before, but ABQ Gentle Dentistry was able to see me that week and help diagnose my issue. Their staff is great and Dr. Lafferty is does amazing work. He talked to my about my pain and the possible causes; which ended up being a root canal. He wasn't able to do the procedure but I came back and he installed a crown for me which fit perfectly. I highly recommend him to anybody looking for a new dentist. If I was living in New Mexico, I'd definitely have him as my primary.

As far as Dentists go Dr. Lafferty is the best!! Friendly, patient, great staff and very reasonably priced. My son and I both go to ABQ Gentle Dentistry.

During my extraction and implant procedures they were gentle and considerate making sure I was comfortable through their entirety.
