This dental practice is was the first place I felt comfortable,relaxed and confident that I would receive the. best care ever. They really listen to your concerns and leave the decisions about what you need and are comfortable with up to you. A refreshing change !

Dr. Giron was very patient and helpful. She explained very clearly her findings, diagnosis, and available options. She took the time to answer any questions that I had and develop a plan for treatment and prevention. The staff was also very patient and helpful.

Don’t tell anyone but I haven’t been to a dentist in about 5-6 years. Lost part of a tooth recently and reached out for recommendations. This place is amazing and I am hooked on dentistry once again. Everyone is so very kind. They are efficient. They are clean. This is a place I will call my dentistry home as long as I am in the Q. Masks are required during the visit until you are having your exam or dental work. This is the place to go for all of your dental work.

For people with severe dental anxiety, this office is a revelation. The new patient questionnaire is full of very specific language. The dentist and hygienist both remember me and my particular hang ups. The cleanings are based around what you can handle. The restorative work goes at the speed you decide. This is the best dentist office I have ever found.

No mercury, no fluoride, and safe amalgam removal! Dr Giron checked my jaw functioning and occlusion thoroughly and did not proceed with work until having talked to the jaw and pain specialist I had been seeing. Plus, she's super nice! Planning on getting the kids moved over to her as well!

I got two crowns and they did a wonderful job. I am very pleased. Later I received routine cleaning and again, it was a great job and good experience. My dental hygienist, D, was so pleasant, she made me feel very cared for. In fact, all the staff are great. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic practice. Dr. Giron and her staff, from the front office to the assistants are wonderful, caring people, who help those of us with anxieties with dental work. I needed to have emergency work done and Dr. Giron saw me right away and made sure I was as comfortable as can be. They were extremely detailed in everything they were doing with me and have many options for you from comfort to financing, to make your visit as easy and stress free as possible. I have found the dentist perfect for my needs!

Dr. Shamaine Giron was great. I required a lot of dental work and she was willing to get me in quickly and forgo an extra visit for entire dental examination and helped me with my root canal issue and dental extraction. We had an issue with the first bone graft not healing correctly and causing discomfort. she called me directly to schedule me to come In so they could replace the graft at no extra cost. I appreciate her and her team!

Everyone at this practice is friendly and professional. The COVID protocols are very thorough. Hygienists Roberta and Nikki are both highly skilled and Drs. Scott and Reachi are wonderful to talk to, even if they don't need to bang around in your mouth. I have to say the one star review below talking about the whole staff turning over when the business is sold sounds like a mistake. Because many of the people in this practice have been there quite a long time; there is very little turnover. So either the reviewer is reviewing a different practice or she's messing with this one. The comments just don't ring true at all. Highly recommend.

A wonderful office with amazing staff. I was searching for a dentist that was willing to hear my concerns and speak with me about what wasn't working for me at other dental offices. My previous dentist was also a holistic dentist, which is how I found them in my search. Dr. Giron and her staff were helpful, friendly, and honest with me. While I do think it can be pricey without insurance, I'm willing to pay for peace of mind. I'm someone who enjoys going to the dentist, and with that said, I can't wait for my next cleaning appt.

Very happy to have found ABQ Dentistry and Wellness when I moved to Albuquerque in 2019. I had avoided going to the dentist for a few years because of bad experiences, and was particularly interested in their wholistic approach. They have me back on track with cleaning and a plan for dealing with some much needed work. Feel very confident with Dr. Giron and the entire staff, especially Dee who is the best hygienist I've ever had -- thorough yet doesn't leave me sore, even after a deep cleaning -- she is so sweet and makes an unpleasant but necessary task much more bearable.

I have been going to ABQ Dentists for many years and every visit has been excellent. From the hygienists and dentists to the administrative staff at the front, everyone is great and genuinely cares about their patients. I highly recommend them.

I had a cleaning with Roberta and Dr. Scott - it was a really pleasant experience and I loved speaking with them! They educated me on my x-rays and explained things much better than other dentists I have seen. I felt really good going forward (I have had other dentists push procedures I was not comfortable with in the past). I came back the following week to have a couple fillings replaced that were bothering me. Tanisha was really sweet, and she and Dr. Reachi did an amazing job - I have had MANY fillings over the years and have never had such a painless shot. Fast and easy appointment, teeth feel great several days later. Definitely coming back next time!

After going to many dentists in my lifetime, I was not satisfied with my dental care. I searched for a Holistic Dentist that understands a patient's health along with dental care. I'm excited that I finally found the perfect place. I have always had so much anxiety about going to the dentist. Everyone at this office was kind, caring, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. They made me feel at ease and they included me in decisions about my dental care. I can't be happier. You won't be disappointed. Dee is such an Amazing Dental Hygienist! ?

We take our almost 3 year old and the whole office makes her feel so comfortable; but Dee, oh my goodness, that sweet woman is above and beyond! It’s been a couple months since her last visit, and our daughter still talks about how her “friend Dee gave her a new yellow toothbrush and when can we go see her again?”. If you have a child that’s at all apprehensive, I 100% recommend this office.

Because I have such painfully sensitive teeth and extremely receding gums, I really need gentle dentistry where they respect and value the patient's needs. I am also ultra sensitive to chemical smells, like Clorox, so the patient area needs to be no, or low, fragranced. This business read my info and listened respectfully while I talked about my needs and concerns. The dental hygienist, Diedre, was very conscious and careful with my first deep cleaning. I highly recommend her, probably with children, also, I would imagine. And, the dentist, Dr. Giron, was attentive and pleasant. Both were very informative of what they were doing, and what more I would need done, and why. They were non-sales like, which I greatly appreciated since I do not have a job or money for dental care, being an older person with limiting physical issues. My dental care is essential for being able to bite or chew, maintain, gain healthful weight. I am working on getting dental assistance so I can continue the gum disease work I so need from them, now that I finally found a place that is understanding of my unavoidable sensitivities.

I never liked the Dentist office much but Dr. Giron and her staff, especially her Dental Hygienist Deirdre always make me feel comfortable, answer any/all questions without making me feel stupid and will work with you on scheduling and paying. Thanks!

The entire team is very helpful. I have had my teeth cleaned by each of the dental hygienists, and they all are terrific at their profession. Their COVID safety protocols are up-to-date.

Dr. Giron and staff are a compassionate dental team and deliver excellent gentle dental care. If you have dental anxiety this is the place for you. You Get Gentle and caring service and Dr. Giron does excellent treatment With attention to detail. I would recommend to anyone of all ages!
