I’ve been going to Dr. Melton for years. He has done absolutely fantastic job on me in the past that never failed. Now even when my work is primarily in CA I keep coming to ABQ to see him if I need any dental work done. Dr. Melton is very rare gem and a true tooth fairy! He has my absolute trust.

My father went in for implants and ended up with false teeth (at an exorbitant cost). Since that day his life has never been the same. It takes him 45 minutes to eat a meal because he is in excruciating pain. After a year of monthly adjustment visits and ridiculous excuses, the pain has never gone away. Dr. Burton has ZERO concern or compassion for his patients. He does not care about the pain OR the financial burden he has inflicted. DO NOT GO TO THIS QUACK!!!

Years ago he did implants. They became infected right away... he carved away the bone to clear infection he did this many times. GO TO A DIFFERENT DENTIST I would not trust him to cut a piece of cooked chicken. I’m talkin’about implants on my front teeth. How does he sleep at night !

Burton replaced a canine for me 12 years ago. To my shock he used a mallot to place the metal post. After six months of healing the crown was put in which fit terribly and caused terrible pain due to food getting lodged even with a water pic. 10 years of tolerating this (Replacements are expensive) The tooth became infected. Burton was upset asking if I'd, "Seen a dentist over the years?" Yes of course twice a year in fact. Burton replaced the implant which took a year of healing, bone grafts, new post and crown and now this one hurts more than the original. When he drilled this time to place the post he hit a nerve twice! Needless to say this one has to come out also! NOT by Burton Melton. I've considered suing him but the money needs to go to a doctor who is ethical and knows what he's doing! DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN!

I Absolutely LOVE Dr Burt Melton & his staff. He is more than professional, he is very personable as well. His diagnosis & treatments are accurate, and quick. He cares so much for his patients, how they feel & their quality of treatment. He even makes available his cell phone number for when the office is closed. I don't know any other dentist that is there for their patients to that extent & I have known & worked for plenty of them in the past. I am retired now, however; if I were in the job market, I would definitely want to work in his office. His staff is just as amazing as well. You can tell that they all get along very well with one another, which is often rare in other offices. I will keep him as my dentist & highly recommend him as well.

I loved this office!! I had my teeth cleaning here and I was treated like family. The staff knew exactly what to do with my insurance. Also Dr. Melton is so so so nice and an expert at what he does.

I needed a crown and Dr melton had bought the business from my dentist , I had just been seeing a great teeth cleaning person I wish I had gone somewhere else for the crown Everything seem to be going well but the moment he had applied glue and was pressing the crown on my prepared tooth , his son appeared and asked daddy to "check position "on his patient ,, Dr Melton jumped up to go help his son , and left his tech who I could see was scrambling to get the crown in position and cleaning up the glue before it set up It was never right! I felt as if the tooth was taller than anything else in my mouth and was hitting first I went back six times , and between him grinding on my healthy teeth to try and make his crown fit( he was nervous to keep grinding on the crown ) he told me to " quit playing with it " that was it !! The tooth was uncomfortable everyday all day , I finally went to another dentist who could see the crown was to tall in my mouth , cut it out an replaced it ,, now it's fine , how Dr Melton can claim to help people with a mouthful of teeth when in the eight times I saw him he couldn't help me with one Oh he kept my 1800 dollars also

I have mixed feelings about Dr. Melton. His staff was amazing but I didn't leave their office fully satisfied. I had an implant done & I was kind of rushed out of there so I could make it to my Orthodontist appt so by the time I got a real good look at my new million $ tooth I noticed that I could see the metal part under the tooth. I'm kind of afraid to go back to have it redone, repaired whatever needs to be done to make it look normal because everytime I go in for an appt he seems to find something else that needs urgent care in my mouth. He's a nice doctor but I'm just not satisfied:(

Went for consultation and they did impression of my teeth.they never got back to me.I called twice and spoke to the receptionist and never got called back.it's been over two months I felt like if I was being judge because of my race.they probably thought I couldn't afford it but I have the money.their lost time to look somewhere else

Dr.Melton is unprofessional. Prefers you do not ask questions. Has huge ego!!!

I need to mention my visit at Dr. Meltons office. When I first walked into the office the atmosphere and professionalism from his staff made me feel at ease. I was treated exactly as I was expecting when I sat in the chair. I have a lot of work needed and Dr. Melton took his time giving me options and a true understanding of what is desperately needed to have the smile I have been searching for. His office staff sat down with me and went over payment options and worked with me the whole way. I am a very happy guy with my first visit and will not be my last. I actually enjoy going to a dentist now. Thank you to Dr. Melton and your entire professional staff. I would recommend anyone who is in need of making their smile matter go see him.

I have to say this office promises and does not deliver. After $4,000 in cash, over three months of the inability to eat and a promise to have at the very least a cosmetic option for an upcoming trip, Dr. Melton failed to deliver and only stated "have a good time." Are you serious? In addition, his front office staff is a joke and highly unprofessional. We called several times in the past few months asking when a fitting appointment would be set and were told "these things just take time." I will be reporting this office to the dental board and contacting an attorney. DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST!!!!

Dr. Melton's office was highly recommended by my then dentist Dr.Cook in Taos, NM. Dr. Cook was not able to perform the procedure I needed, namely dental implants. Because infections in some of my teeth threatened the bone in my jaw, it was necessary to have my remaining teeth pulled, and Dr. Melton used a method called CAD CAM Digital Dentures made by a company in Arizona, Avadent. Using this technique, Dr. Melton successfully performed the All On Four procedure. He conducted all the necessary surgeries and placed implants in a prompt manner in his Albuquerque office. Now, after more than ten years, I am extremely happy that I did not experience any more discomfort or other problems whatsoever. I feel fortunate that I found Dr. Melton, who's compassionate, expert, and professional treatment fundamentally changed the quality of my life. I highly recommend him to anyone facing similar problems!
