When I initially reached out my first question was if they accepted my insurance. They told me they did but neglected to tell me they were not in network, meaning they can charge whatever they want. Went to my initial appointment, was told I would not be charged for the x-rays as they had my recent ones and wanted "better quality", but they did indeed charge me for all of them, putting me out that money and using up my insurance premium. Dr was nice enough.

EVERYONE, is so welcoming, kind and professional. I can honestly say I feel I’m finally home with my dental needs with people who care. ?

Best dentist in town, hands-down. Comfortable waiting room, personable and caring staff and the chairs are comfortable. If you are at all scared of the dentist then this is the place for you. They make you feel at home and cater to your every need, as silly they may be. I get a blanket every time I go, even for cleanings.

I worked for Dr. Gillis for many years. Now that I am retired I wouldn't think about going anywhere else. I know first-hand the level of care you receive in her office. I needed to have a single canine veneer replaced. It was critical to get the color and shape exact so it would match my existing veneers on my front teeth. My new veneer looks great. The color is perfect. I am thankful for the time and expertise I continue to receive in Dr. Gillis office. Also Regina is a amazing assistant.

I came to Julie Gillis after getting a really bad implant done at another office on my front tooth and she redid both my front teeth to perfection! I even had a dentist comment on my teeth at a restaurant I worked at and he was surprised to find out they were not my real front teeth! If I could give Dr. Gillis and her staff 10 stars, I would. I am in the middle of a long process of dental and orthodontic procedures so I have been to Dr. Gillis’ office 3 times in the last couple weeks. Dr. Gillis is really nice and fun and really efficient. She explains everything clearly. She even called in the evening after a long appointment that morning to make sure I was feeling okay! Her assistant Regina also is amazing. She is super relaxed and funny and makes you feel comfortable the whole time you’re there. Another assistant, Julie is so nice. She gave me lots of great advice about Grand Junction since I’m new here. Every time I call the office, the receptionist is so nice! She knows my name and always sounds happy to hear from me. I feel 100% comfortable going to my appointments and I can’t wait to see how my beautiful smile emerges when we’re done!

Every time I go to Dr. Gillis' office for dental services, I am reminded of the mediocre level of previous "care". Julie and her staff are unfailingly kind, direct and professional, and I always defer to their suggestions for treatment because they are so genuinely caring. As I age, my dental health is increasingly important, and this dedicated staff is entirely onboard. Great experience! Much recommended.

I am a freshman at Colorado Mesa University and unfortunately some dental complications came up this semester. Thankfully I was referred to Dr. Gillis, her staff is exceptional and they truly take pride in what they do. Besides being very professional they make you feel like family. I had two ‘implanted posts’ put in on lower front to anchor partial bridge in about 1995-97. These remained solid until 2018 when they where extracted and replaced as I needed “full denture” anchors! I have two things I NEVER skimp on : Shoes and my Dentist. I have been going to Julie M. Gillis for about twenty years. She and her team are the best. Her technique is to give you what you need and help you keep your natural teeth. I have been able to do this with the care I have received from her practice. You owe it to yourself to seek out the best dental practice you can and stay with it.

I had a very sore tooth. They got me in very quickly. There were actually two issues. Dr. Gillis quickly took care of one problem and referred me to someone who could fix the second. She is kind, gentle, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. The entire office staff are wonderful. I would recommend her to anyone for cleaning and serious tooth issues.

A modern dental office with up to date techniques and personnel. Not only the latter but caring professionals along with a nurturing dentist who guide the staff with exceptional customer results. That professional person is a gifted quality person, Julie Gillis.

To assess an injury to my face they got me into a chair the same day I called to get evaluated. Very professional and accommodating.

Who wants to go to the dentist? I resisted for as long as I could, then I saw the commercial on TV and it hooked me. I called for the first appointment in Aug. 2018. The entire process of getting my problem solved took a little over a year. In that time I got to know the staff to be genuinely interested in me and what my goals were. When the problem was solved it happened on my 80th birthday. I arrived for my final appointment to find the staff welcoming me by singing "Happy Birthday" (all but Regina - she says she can't sing) but she did give me a big hug. Then I was presented with a package of cupcakes to celebrate with. How great is that? I have had some really bad experiences in my lifetime with other dentists but I have to say I really looked forward to each appointment and now I have a beautiful smile that I don't hesitate using.
