I love this group at Barr Family Dentistry. Everyone is always kind and professional. Dr Barr and the employees all make me feel like a valued patient.

My husband and I look forward to our appointments at BARR FAMILY DENTISTRY. They listen, they care and help you with the different issues one might have.

Daniele, introduced herself and let me know that I was in safe hands, she was knowledgeable in her field and was very gentle, making sure of my comfort. I told her that if Dr. Barr had chosen her in her team, I trusted her as if she was Dr. Barr. I love their professional and clean atmosphere. I highly recommend their service.

Started going to Barr after moving to Grand Junction. I had been going to a dentist in another state for over 10yrs. The first filling I had she was extremely rough leaving my mouth sore. My daughter all of a sudden had six cavities. One was done incorrectly and broke. Went back to be told she needed a crown and she had another cavity in another tooth. I decided to go back to our old dentist for a second opinion. He filled the filling that broke because it was done incorrectly (no crown needed)and could not find an additional cavity. He even took additional xrays. Will never be going back and taking my business back to our original dentist. Worth the 5 hour drive.

Everyone dreads the dentist as I do too! But I must say, it was great!! The entire staff was nice and welcoming. If you need an environment with no stress or worries, Dr.Barr and her staff are The Best!!! Thanks for a program to fix what the others messed up! 5 Stars?? Make it 10!!!

I had a great experience here! Everyone was extremely helpful and the employee who was assisting me even changed out her mask 2-3 times. Dr.Barr was friendly and made me feel super comfortable she walked into the room and immediately started to make conversation! Im excited to finally have a trust worthy person taking care of my teeth! *UPDATE* I had to go back multiple times to get my bite corrected and sadly im still having discomfort I had to go to a new dentist and get some fillings redone. I have reached out to them in regards to covering the bill for the refillings. Will keep updating this review.. They contacted me and have helped me out tremendously.

Friendly, great environment and personable care by both Dr.Barr and the entire staff.

I find the entire staff to be exceptional in the care they provide. From the time I enter the office to when I check out I am treated with compassion and respect. Dr. Barr is very friendly, caring, and gentle. My hygienist is amazing. I am very glad I found Barr Family Dentistry to cover all my dental needs.

Dr. Barr and her entire staff are exceptionally knowledgable, professional, and friendly. I have moved around a lot and seen many different dentists over the years and Dr. Barr is the sharpest shooter of them all. Not only is she extremely down to earth and very personable, she really knows her stuff and cares about her patients. She has caught issues that no other dentist has with my teeth and fixing them has been a game changer. Can't recommend highly enough!!! I'd rate them 6 stars if I could!

All I have to say is find out the cost up front!! I went in to get a quote on a couple of extractions and some fillings. The quote came back at $2,480.00..OMG! When I was freaked out at the cost, they very nicely tried a care card and when I couldn't get that, my other option I was told, is to find somewhere else. I did go somewhere else and I had new xrays taken and then the new dentist matched tooth for tooth everything that Dr Barr had on the list to be done. My new quote.... 888.00!! All this is without insurance at both places. Almost $1,600.00 difference! Dr Barr should be ashamed charging that much more!! I expected maybe a couple of hundred, but $1,600.00 is crazy!!! Had it been only a couple of hundred more I probably would have picked Dr Barr. She was very personable and her staff are great, but not $1,600.00 great.... Price gouging is not the way to do business!

My son 8 and daughter 7 got treated today and they did nitrous, I chose not to be in the room, I never heard a peep and they both came out happy!! I was happy we did not have to go to a specialist and the staff took VERY GOOD care of my Littles!

Love Dr. Barr and her staff. I had to cancel my appt and reschedule with a different hygienist. I still felt comfortable, and felt like the job was thorough. I highly recommend Barr Family Dentistry!

We love this practice. We just moved to Grand Junction and were looking for a new dentist and choose this practice, and we are so happy with our choice. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. From the first phone call to the visit we were very happy with their service. Definitely give them a try!

Took my son here for a cleaning and during that cleaning she said we should pull some of his baby teeth or they could potentially cause problems for his grown up teeth. I agreed but the procedure was incredibly rough and he kept insisting that he could feel it. I believe my son because he’s never had any other issues with other dental procedures. In fact, his previous dentist always commented on what a great job he did! He ended up covered in sweat after the teeth pulling was over. Dr. Barr told me “it’s all in his head”. It was really a bad experience and I will not subject my children to her again. I don’t recommend her. He’s now terrified of the dentist and I can’t blame him.

First impression was great and glad I chose them based on Internet search. They deserve 5 star rating.

As my dentist retired I had to find a new doctor for my care. I’m so pleased and thankful that I chose Barr Family Dentistry! Along with Dr Barr the staff is caring and pleasant. I’ld refer just office for your dental needs.

Throughout my life I have had many visits to the dentist and since moving to Grand Junction I have not been able to find a really good dentist (who accepted my insurance and was friendly and full of grace).Had my first appointment at Barr Family Dentistry and must share my experience. From check in to check out, this office is professional and following the COVID guidelines. Everyone was very kind and personable. The hygienist Diane was AMAZING and talked me through everything. Dr. Barr is gracious, friendly and transparent. I had a few things going on and I was informed of my options. As I checked out and booked my next appointment I was informed of the cost that I will incur and what to expect in the next appointment. A good dentist is hard to find and I would recommend Barr Family Dentistry to anyone looking. Thank you ladies for making my experience one I wanted to share.

Best ever dentist and staff that I've been too. My old dentist had retired and I looked for a new dentist. I enjoyed her commericals on TV so took a chance and had my teeth cleaned first. Dr. Barr's office gave me such a wonderful, pleasant experience. The staff where all professional, but still easy to talk to and ask questions and get answers. I felt so welcome and they took my fear of being at a dentist office. This time I needed a crown done and OMG, Dr. Barr does everything in office while you wait. Not having to come back for additional appointments was another BIG advantage. If you need a dentist go see Dr. Barr and her staff THEY ALL ARE WONDERFUL!!!!! I LOVE ALL OF THEM. Another added item was while they where working on my tooth and while I waited I got to choose what music I wanted to listen too. Now how fun and at ease was this. I asked "Alexia" to play some old music from the 60's. That was really cool for me!!!!! Now that was special all in it's self..... Go see her for any work you need done. Fantastic

The business extremely cares for your health and that of others. Masks required, hand sanitizer required on entry. Staff is geared for both your and their protection. Staff is both friendly and highly professional.

Exceptional dentist and staff. Brittany does a great job of cleaning and is gentle. Love the atmosphere. In all my years of going to the dentist and I am almost 67, this is the best dental office. I would dread going to the dentist, now I do not. Thank you and see you in February!!

They are always friendly and great to work with. I even recieved a phone call after an appointment to see how my mouth was doing after a big treatment. I think they are great!!

All of Dr. Barr's staff are compassionate and caring people. The are a great group of dedicated professionals. They all really take the time to explain everything while providing excellent customer service.

This place is AMAZING! I have been in a lot of dental offices over the years and never before have I felt as comfortable and cared for as I do with Dr. Barr and her team. These are really good people and with my dental issues, they set up a plan and handled it. I enjoy the conversation and the care is top notch. My family will never again go anywhere else. The office is clean, the prices are fair, and when the insurance company is acting the fool, their staff is quick to figure it out and get everything squared away. On top of that, Dr. Barr is awesome. She is funny, caring and on point with her practice. Her team is on point as well.

I love this place. We take our whole family here. Dr Barr is great and super fun with the kids. They love her. Her staff are equally great. Fixed a chipped tooth and got me back on track for $50 (with insurance). I was ready for a much bigger bill.

I love this place! Dr. Barr is so awesome and personable! She always takes the time to ask about me and never leaves my room without telling me some sort of personal, funny story. Last time we laughed and laughed about the joys of pregnancy! The entire staff is friendly and welcoming and always treat you like family. Have also never felt pressured to have excessive services done and always go at my pace. Will always recommended Barr Family to my friends and family!

I needed some dental work done and stopped in to ask some questions.With my questions answered, I asked for a appointment. I was told that there was a opening right then and we got started. The staff are very professional and accommodating, even with a big baby like me.The lab technician is top of his game an excellent fit the first time. I am so impressed with the quality of the service I'm switching the whole family to Barr Family Dentistry.Those of us blessed with a special needs children know all to well how hard it can be to find the right doctor to provide services.After watching and listening to my experience my son has asked me to make him a appointment to check his teeth. see you guys soon. love you !!! Enough cannot be said about Dr. Barr and her staff. Your comfort is their priority and they truly care. They are all very friendly and sweet. The office runs smoothly and efficiently and the prices are more than fair!

I have a fear of dental work. However Dr. Barr and her hygienist, Diane, put me right at ease my very first visit. My experience with her was great! No pain, she’s sweet, funny and very down to earth. My husband went to her as well, and has his 6 month appointment next week. I highly recommended her. I have referred a friend to her.

Dr. Barr and her whole staff are caring concerned, sympathetic and professional angels on Earth. My daughter and I have been patients of Dr. Barr and I am so thankful to have found her. I have dental anxiety, but her calm, sensible approach to my fears assuaged my nervousness and my experience was pain free. I had six extractions and, thanks to Dr. Barr's skill, experience and knowledge, I never used the pain relievers she prescribed only an Advil. I am a baby when it comes to dental work, but from x rays to cleaning to extractions she is a shining star and my daughter and I would highly recommend Dr. Barr and her great staff. Avoid classic avoidance behavior and go see her now.

Dr. Barr has a skilled and efficient staff which makes the dental experience very positive. They also have up-to-date equipment and care protocols. The office does take dental insurance

I am so thankfull that I picked Barr family dentistry not only did they do a terrific job with my dental work the doc is such a down to earth lady but also knows what she is doing!:I had a horrible exsperiance with a dentist that led to me be horribly frightened of anything to do with a dentist.It took everything in me to go for the apt.. I am sure Glad that I picked Barr family dentistry they have been the best . I went in with ugly teeth and a very low self esteem I was ashamed to smile because of my teeth . The doc promised me she would fix me up and that she did I now am not only out of pain from bad cavities and infection but I have a beautiful smile again!!!!thank you Barr family dentistry for everything you have done for me!!! Even though some of my teeth are not real you sure can't tell they Look just like my old ones before they got bad .I can't believe how real they look .they are perfect thanks again .you and all of your staff are heaven sent!!!! Dr. Barr is super nice and personable and does great work! All of the girls who work there are so nice and friendly too, especially her assistant ? Been going there for a long time and i've always felt comfortable there and know that i'm getting excellent care of my teeth.

Dr. Barr is very friendly and caring. She treated me like an individual and didn't laugh or act surprised when I was wincing having my teeth cleaned. She understood I have very sensitive teeth and took great care of me, even though it was a small issue compared to some of the other work she does. I felt very listened to, and I really trust Dr. Barr's judgment.

NOT a good place to go! Fake people. Left my epileptic daughter alone in the room and she had a seizure and fell out of the dental chair. Then tried to claim they didn't even know when it states it in her chart and they were told verbally more than once. When she went the next day to have her work finished they treated her like she did something wrong, Cackling fake hens is what I'd call them!!! If I could do less than one star I would

I am so grateful to have a pleasant experience at a dentist appointment. Dr. Barr was very gentle with such a nervous patient like me. She reminded me to relax my jaw and eased my mind to just let her do her job! The staff was very friendly and professional when greeting me. My visit was great! I wasn't so happy about the drill but Dr. Barr had a light touch so I didn't feel a thing. When the numbing wore off I just had minor discomfort.

I highly recommend probably one of the best experiences I've had a dentist super personable and made me feel like family. Nice to know that there is actually a company out there that cares about the community and people who don't have a lot of money this place is awesome

I was impressed. Office was clean & was designed in a very tasteful manner. Sharp & knowledgeable staff & Dr Barr has a very up-beat, pleasant "bedside manner". It's not easy picking a Dentist out of the yellow pages, I think I ended up right where I'm suppose to be.

Dr. Barr is a fantastic dentist! I've been to dentists from here to Japan and Brazil. She is my favorite. The price for my crown was reasonable, too.

Dr. Barry did a wonderful job repairing my bridge. We are making her our full time dentist.

I think the office is very efficient the doctor is very pleasant and personable. I like that he works with underprivileged children in Africa. Never tried to sell me on anything or make me feel uncomfortable about my insurance!! I feel fortunate to have found the office being new to this area.

Everyone was super nice, until it was discovered because of a mistake at my work, my insurance had been dropped. After that, I was made to feel about 2 inches tall and questioned on how I was going to pay my bill. Easy to tell all they care about is money and not their patients.
