Dentistry for Children - Roswell

This was my daughters first dental visit. Everyone made it a great experience. The professionals at this establishment are not only personable, knowledgeable, and helpful but are extremely caring and kind. I can’t remember anyones name at the moment but everyone was great to us and with my daughter. I look forward to coming here many more years as my daughter grows and learns about maintaining a beautiful and healthy smile. Thank you all!

Absolutely detailed review and chat with our children concerning their needs which we had not received. The plan set out was explained clearly. The kids came out saying it was worth the drive because the dentist actually talked to them. It showed because of the detailed and customized report for each child. The ambience was great as well with the treehouse etc in the lobby. The front staff also were kind and accomodating. If you forget appointments, never fear. The reminders were well timed and consistent that it stayed top of mind. This location was definitely superb. Thanks to everyone!

We had to make an emergency Saturday morning visit to have one of my 3 years olds teeth pulled that was knocked out of place the night before. I was dreading the visit because my son normally screams and cries the entire time he has a doctors appointment, and I was expecting this visit to be especially traumatic, but this experience was wonderful. The whole staff was amazing, especially Dr. Shilman. She kept him calm, and talked to him gently and warmly, and he didn’t cry once. Im convinced she’s a toddler whisperer, who just happens to be able to expertly extract teeth. Thank you for being so professional, accommodating and kind everyone!

They are so nice. Dr. Linda is so sweet to my kids. And the place is always neat. Ms. Eli and Ms. Kelly was sweet as well to my kids. I have two autistic kids and they work with them and help me with them. I appreciate them. They are like family. I recommend 1000%

The staff was super friendly and the wait time was sufficient especially when you have TVs to watch and a big beautifully play tree for kids. Dr. Lisa and the nurse were great and patient with my special needs child. They took their time to see him and I’m super excited for our next visit. It was well worth my hour drive to get great quality

My brother and I have been going to this location for a few years now and they dropped me and my brother from being seen at all locations because of a comment that my mother had made online. My brother and I have never been rude or unkind or Disobedient at this practice and as soon as my mother had said something about this issue of not being given the right documents for my wisdom teeth surgery and instead giving tmj documents or thinking that my name was TMJ. the next time I went to the location they had made me wait an hour to be seen which is pretty long as usually both my brother and I in the past have been probably just over and hour for both of us to be seen. After this incident my mother took to leaving a comment on line which isn’t wrong and it’s not over exaggerated and then the practice a few days later they had sent a mail to us saying that my brother and I can’t be serviced at any location because of something about not meeting an requirement and then when my mother called them to ask why I am no longer aloud to go there the lady had said because the doctor had felt Uncomfortable with servicing us and honestly I now fell uncomfortable going there if I have an emergency because what did I do to get basically Thrown out of the place that I use to love going to. We love going to Dentistry for Children. Dr. Lisa and all the staff are excellent with my kids and even in the midst of the pandemic have been very accommodating to ensure that we all feel comfortable with the procedures and allow me to stay as close to the procedures as is safe, which increases the comfort of my kids and myself. We've been with Dentistry for Children since my now 10-year-old was 3, and I've never once felt uncomfortable with the treatments they've suggested and for the few procedures that required more than basic cleaning (sealants, one minor cavity, and one pulled tooth), I've always been allowed to stay in the room with my child.

Pushy for my son to do a 3 month follow up because he has braces and also sat around because I was told to wait to check out and that someone would call me up. However, no one called me to check out wait 20 minutes until I went up to the desk and no one knew that they needed to call me up to check out. My sons appointment to 1 hour and that’s without waiting afterwards. I don’t mind waiting, but I would like to be updated on what they are doing and why it is taking so long since I can’t go back with my son. They also took X-rays and never gave me feedback on how his X-rays looked.

We had an emergency dental appointment after my 2 year old bumped his tooth. The staff was SO kind and SO patient with him. Dr. Lisa and Ms. Merly provided exceptional care. Highly recommend this wonderful office!

We have been going to Dr Lisa for 4 years. We switched when my daughter had extreme anxiety having X-ray, cleaning or any type of treatment. Dr Lisa Is so kind, sweet, loving and made my daughter feel at ease . She’s even had to extract teeth and my daughter never knew it until it was over . She is simply amazing . I highly recommend .

I recently took my son in for a frenectomy consult with Dr Lisa. I was so nervous because he's only 8 months old but the appointment couldn't have been easier! Blanca at the front desk was so helpful with him as I was trying to fill out paperwork. Once the Dr recommended the treatment, Tiffany, walked me through the process step by step! Dr Lisa is amazing! She got us through the process quick while still making sure I knew what was happening and treating my son like her own. She's exactly what a kids dentist should be! We love this practice

I love Dr. Lisa at Dentistry for Children Roswell. I do not like the business that is Dentistry for children. I have had trouble with their disorganization before, but now with pandemic rules it just makes me more nervous when they don't have their paperwork straight. I do not like to have to correct the technician on what my child is being seen for before sending her back alone. Luckily my child is now 14 and can understand and speak up for herself. I am not sure what I would think with younger children.

The people work there is very good very friendly and you are in and out a very good dentistry for your kids for convent in and out on probably my daughter love this place

Dr. Lisa has always been exceptional. She is incredibly gifted with the children she sees- catering to each individual personality and comfort level. We have been seeing her for years. The care she provides in making sure her patients dental concerns are met is phenomenal. Would recommend to anyone looking for their permanent dental home.

Everyone at dentistry for children was amazing. My 4 year old daughter had such a good experience she's excited to come back for her fillings!

It is a very nice, clean and enjoyable office. All staff are smiling, it is amazing. The kids feel comfortable and safe.

Usually this location is really good but sadly not today. We waited 45 minutes before being seen and when they were seen the cleaning was done rushed and not with care....probably due to the fact the front desk misplaced my kids papers to be taken back. There needs to be more parking and experienced help at the front. The woman that typically works the front is very kind but she needs help.

This is the only place where kids love to go with a big smile on their face for their appointment :). A wonderful caring staff. Dr.Lisa is an excellent doctor with lots of experience and don’t suggest any extremely treatment until it’s necessary unlike my other experiences with other dentist. We visited dentistry for children for taking a second opinion ~3 years ago and ended up making this our first/primary care since then.

The ladies were so wonderful today with our 13 month old that we had to take in to look at a loose tooth.

Dr Lisa is amazing..no seriously she is the best. With a child that has major anxiety when it comes to the dentist she went above and beyond. We will now go to her EVERY time now. ☺️☺️

Excellent dental office for children! Set up with fun illustrations, decorations, cartoons and games for children. Went for 1st dental visit with a nervous toddler, and the staff was super bubbly and friendly, gave us the tour and took us to back to room, would come in and out and chat with son and bring him toys to make him comfortable. Waiting room and check up were both quick, dentist was excellent and informative, all around positive experience for my son.

We love Dr Lisa and Dentistry for Children! She is patient and so great with kids. The entire office staff is wonderful.

I won’t be going back. Had an appointment today; they asked a few questions and canceled my Appointment. They said they needed a COVID test First…. If they want a COVID test, they can Make the appointment, and pay for it. If they can charge me, if I miss an appointment, they should cut me a check if they Cancel one.

Staff are very nice and I love the office set up with tree house for kids to play in. My son has bad reflux so he is always very nervous about going to dentist for cleaning but they made him feel safe and paused as needed def very patient staff with kids. We came from an office that after years of being with them they started lacking on being patient with kids so going to Dentistry for Children really gave me that peace of mind.

My son loves going here! It's totally kid friendly and well run. If you're looking for privacy, you don't get much as the floor plan is open, but for what my son has done, it works well. Dr. Schilman is great! Very friendly and professional!

Dr. Lisa is an exceptional pediatric dentist! From the time I found out my sweet 3 year old daughter had a cavity she immediately put us to ease and we completely trusted her through it. She knows exactly what to do to make even the tiniest nervous little patients get through their dental treatment. Her two OP assistants Merly & Alex both were absolutely amazing in the treatment room, they work flawlessly with Dr.Lisa and you can tell they are highly experienced & very well trained! What could have been a traumatic first dental experience turned into a comforting caring appointment and I couldn’t be more thankful! I really admire how Dr.Lisa & her team perform with any and all behaviors. The work that was completed was the highest quality and I was so impressed with it being done on a wiggly three year old. My daughter left happy and even wanted to thank Dr. Lisa after. I highly recommend this dentist office! If you have a scared little one, Dr. Lisa can truly make miracles happen!
