Big Creek Family Dentistry is incredible. Going to the dentist is usually a terrible ordeal, but my wife and I have had such good experiences here. Took my daughter here today to get a filling and some other preventive work done, and still am blown away even now hours later with the hospitality and care that the whole team showed us as well as Dr. Murphree's expert skills. He knew just how to help my daughter relax and feel comfortable with the procedure and explained everything to her, so she would know. In the end she was all fixed up and I couldn't be happier.

My wife, Lorraine, had two cracked molars that started to give her pain when we were visiting family in Roswell. We took care of some outstanding dental issues (no pain!) and my dental health has continued to improve over the years. The staff are great as well. Friendly and down to earth, great about working with you on scheduling issues as well as clearly explaining costs. Highly, highly recommend.

I've been going to BigCreek Family Dentistry for a few years. Dr Murfree, Sidney, Cathie and the rest of the staff are excellent. The office has the latest technology and provides a safe environment for exams and xrays in the same room. They can handle most of your dental needs.

I called to get an appt since the VA Dental is still shut down. They were able to get me in the same day and take care of all my concerns. Molly was fantastic and Dr. Murfree was awesome. I had a really great experience so I signed up to make them my primary dental provider. Well worth it!

I doubt many people have dreaded going to the dentist more than I have. My fear first began with a simple checkup and cleaning. There were always cavities every six months and honestly I had 13 on one checkup and 11 the next six months. I thought everybody sounded like a horse when chewing, with no idea TMJ existed. I began to feel these guys were trying to torture me and I hated silver. While I wore braces four years, cavities were brewing. Shortly after they were removed, a tooth would abscess, then another. Of course, root canals and crowns began which often had to be repeated a couple years later by another dentist. Wisdom teeth were surgically extracted when I was pregnant. In hindsight I should have kept those teeth. And I never questioned why all that gold removed from former crowns wasn't handed back to me. Thankfully, when a new neighbor moved next door, they suggested I see Dr. Murfree for a bad toothache. Though moaning when I first walked in, upon leaving pain free, I felt this dental group worked like a family and I was already a part of it. I had a thorough work up and consultation with Dr. Murfree on the following visit. He patiently reviewed the pros and cons of possible treatments for my complicated dental situation, my history and films. We discussed the pros and cons of possible treatments which included the subsequent charges. It was plain he would try to financially work with me. I knew he knew what he was doing before any procedures began. And I knew he knew I was a challenge. Not only is he very well educated, professional, and personal, Dr. Murfree is quite a witty friend and dentist. I never ever thought I would feel this way.

Went in for my first visit with Dr.Murfree today and it was such a great experience. All the staff were so friendly and everyone made me feel so welcome. My teeth now feel cleaner than they ever have before!

My Husband and I were looking for a dentist to join after we moved to Roswell and this dentist and his practice are wonderful! The office is ready in this Covid weary era to protect anyone coming inside as I had just a regular cleaning and everything was top notch. I just finished a lovely visit. I’ve been coming here for a couple of years. This has been my best experience yet with a dentist. For the record, I am frightened to death of dentists! They gave me lots of nitrous has to calm me and provide a relaxing atmosphere. Also have reasonable prices! I am enrolled in their patient pay program which is very helpful. Crowns are also reasonably priced. I am so glad I found them! They have been hiding in plain site right around the corner of my house for years. I have already recommended several friends here which are now using them, and I highly recommend them!

I'm a dentist from Venezuela who moved to the USA 5 years ago. Finding a good general dentist I could trust was challenging and stressful for me as you can imagine. I was looking for a great dental office to take care of my wife and I dental needs. Saw Big Creek online, read the reviews and was impressed. Had a tooth with sensitivity for a couple of months so decided to make an appointment. The staff up front are very professional and polite, especially during this Covid 19 ordeal. The doc himself is well grounded and up front. Fully confident in what he is doing and great personality. Loved the time he took to explain and acess my situation. I would definitely recommend Big Creek to any family or individual looking for professional oral care and a wonderful environment.

I've been going to see this group since they bought the practice. Everyone is very professional and they have some outstanding hygienists. Dr. Murfrey tells you what should be done but doesn't make you feel guilty if you decide not to have what is recommended.

Amazing experience!!!! I absolutely love them. Their staff goes above and beyond. I personally had a crying baby with me on my first visit and I got personal attention and help just to calm the baby before my appointment. I am usually so afraid of the going to the dentist but the skills that Dr. Murfree showed was outstanding. He totally made the experience much more enjoyable. He knows how to numb well which with everyone’s experience, I’m sure is one of the most important parts. He is very nice, patient, and understanding. I am very happy I have a dentist that I actually enjoy going to!! Thank you all so much for all you do!!! :)

Entire family goes to Big Creek (kids under 3) and we always have a great experience. From regular cleaning, crowns or fillings we have done it all there. Also, checked with oral surgeons around our area and they even recommend him!

Dr Murphree and his staff are BY FAR the most professional, sweetest, bend over backward to help you out, kindest, patient dental practice I have ever been to!! My only problem with this dental practice is that it is located in Roswell, and I live in Cartersville. Was it worth the almost 2 hour drive in traffic this morning?? EVERY. SINGLE. I’ve had a lot of dental problems over the years, from acid reflux disease as a child to cavities and teeth needing to be pulled. I was looking for a dentist since I just moved to Acworth from Alabama and I hadn’t been to the dentist in about 6 years. I called Dr. Murfree with an exposed nerve on one of my teeth and immediately he went to work trying to help me. They are so accommodating and truly want to help in any way they can. Being a teacher my schedule during the day is very didficult to work around, but they have even opened early and stayed late to help me. I can’t say enough about how great the entire staff is here!

My experience at Big Creek Family Dentistry was AMAZING!!! The atmosphere is not the normal, drab dental office...it's cheery and bright! Dr Murfree is an exceptional Dentist.....He LISTENED to what I wanted and then provided a solution that works for me!!! The staff--Stephanie, Kathy, and others--are very professional, knowledgeable, and respectful....I would honestly give them 10 stars if that was an option!!!

I have been here many times and like Dr. Murfree a lot. I had a new hygienist this time - Anisa. She was FANTASTIC! I did not realize that toothbrushes did not get in between my teeth, and that basically, the only way to brush in between my teeth was by flossing! I will certainly be upping my floss game! The staff was amazing! Cathey answered my first call into the office and she was amazing and got back with me with all my information for my first office visit. When I arrived for my appointment she gave me a tour of the office. I loved it!! It made me feel welcome! Dr. Murfree and his staff, Kathy and Stephanie, were amazing. I was referred to Dr. Murfree's practice because I had a chip tooth that needed to be bonded, and I was experiencing unprofessional service from a dentist that I had been a patient of for over two years. Kathy, the office manager, fit me into Dr. Murfree's schedule the same day. Dr. Murfree and his assistant, Stephanie, did a wonderful job bonding my tooth. I live an hour away from Dr. Murfree's office, however I will continue to see Dr. Murfree for all my future dental needs due to the professionalism of his practice and great attention to detail. After having searched a bit around the Atlanta area for an endodontist, I received a referral to visit Dr. Murfree's office. I needed a root canal procedure done and was not willing to take a chance on any dentist who might simply pocket my money and not care to service patients with quality results. That was not so with Dr. Murfree's office. From my initial phone call, speaking with the lovely Danielle, to Dr. Murfree's assistant Sydney to Dr. Murfree himself, I was happy with my experience. Dr. Murfree explained the procedure to me in terms I could understand and further assessed the condition of my oral health, specifically my gums. He did not gloss over the reality of my condition and presented me with options. I appreciated his candidness. I mentioned to him that in the past I had shied away from cleanings due to rough work done and he listened to my concerns and acted accordingly. Though I hope to not need any such procedures in the future, I am glad I found someone who takes not only their work seriously, but also listens to his patients and responds in a truly humanizing way. Thanks Dr. Murfree and staff!
