Children's Dental Village: Dr. Priya

Couldn't be more impressed. Our 4yo has a very hard time sitting still and prior dentist visits have been squirming, tear-filled disasters. Dr. Priya was GREAT and was able to accomplish all the cleaning, polishing and even x-rays. I was blown away. Thanks!

My daughter is 9 and Dr.Pria is the only one I trust. The way she deals with kids is amazing. I recommend her all the time to people all of the time, now it's time to go public.

Dr. Priya and her staff are absolutely amazing. Especially the lady at the front desk. My children had a great time, and Dr. Priya was able to make them very comfortable. She was also very knowledgeable and was able to teach our kids great ways to improve the health of their teeth.

Great first time experience with our 2 year old toddler. The staff and Dr. Priya were all very friendly and nice, wait time was minimum and best of all my daughter didn't even cry once throughout the appointment. We were in and out within 45 minutes. Very calming environment. Would highly recommend.

ADA recommended frequency of X-rays is every 12 months for kids with dental issue , every 24 months for other kids. Number of X-rays need to be reduced, I provided scans from previous dentist taken 2 weeks back, why need another bunch of scans, Though say stories about radiation from banana and sun, it’s long term side effects are scary, please don’t take too many too frequent scans , otherwise you all doing good work.

We always have the best experience at Children's Dental Village; even my wild three year old loves going! The staff are super friendly, the office is very kid friendly, and the dentist is the best pediatric dentist ever!

The nicest staff ? It was my 1year old son’s first dental appointment and he walked in smiling and seeing the welcoming kid friendly environment (can’t wait till we are back to normal times). The Receptionist and Doctor greeted us and were very kind. To get him adjusted to his appointment they make it so that you are holding the child and he leans back to the doctor’s lap and a fun show (distraction) on the ceiling. Dr. Priya was kind and comforting when he showed discomfort and unease and her assistant was so sweet as well making you the parent feel comfort and giving advice as well. You feel welcomed like a family friend even being your first time. A short cry and it was over and they gave a nice ballon and sticker that brought the smile right back to his face. Will be bringing my little one back again for the next check up?

Entire staff is absolutely amazing!

She’s a great professional that I was so lucky to find and bring my son to her practice. Since then, we haven’t looked back and the dental experience has changed from a traumatic one to a regular visit focused on his well being and self care.

What a great experience! I brought my 3 year old for his very first cleaning and they were so kind and patient with him. Karen did his cleaning and she was AMAZING! She had him laughing the entire time and made him feel so special and so comfortable. The Doctor then did his check up and I couldn’t ask for a better Dentist. She is so kind and you can tell really cares about her patients. She Is extremely thorough and shares best practices to follow at home to keep the teeth happy and healthy. I appreciated that their number one concern was that my son was comfortable and that it remained a positive experience for him. He loved it and was so excited for his sticker at the end. Thank you for making my sons experience so great. Because of everyone’s efforts he will enjoy the dentist going forward. Everyone in this practice is friendly and inviting. Had a great first appointment! Felt very safe with their COVID precautions. The staff was very nice. My boys felt comfortable and enjoyed watching the TV on the ceiling while getting their teeth cleaned. Dr. Priya spent a long time with me and my kids discussing the importance of diet and proper brushing and flossing. Highly recommend this office!

Dr. Priya & her team are thorough & thoughtful. With masks, cleaning in between patients, waiting in the car before appointments & no interaction between patients — my children & I were as protected as possible while getting the cleaning which was a pleasant as a trip to a pediatric dentist can be. Dr. Priya and her staff are wonderful. Dr. Priya really took her time with my son and explained everything she was going to do before she did it to him. She thought of everything to make it a stress free and fun environment for children. She has TV's mounted on the ceiling, she has them pick out some sunglasses to wear for their cleaning and when they are done she lets them pick a toy from the prize box. My son loved it so much, he cant wait to go back. This place is excellent!

Dr. Priya and her entire staff are simply amazing.! This was our first time here and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted into this warm, friendly atmosphere. The set up is great especially for children. As a parent it really made me feel great to bring my daughter here. My child was walked into the room to perform x-rays and my daughter was being somewhat difficult but the staff worked with her and helped her relax. I am really satisfied with our treatment plan. I am glad my daughter and I found the perfect dentist family. Thank you guys for everything.

Had an amazing experience with Dr. Priya and her entire staff! They were busy at the time I went in, however there was no wait time and took me in right away. Everything was explained step by step and all our questions were answered in detail. Dr. Priya spent time with us and made sure my daughter felt comfortable with the procedure and what to expect before and after she was done. Will definitely be going back to her!

Dr Priya is one the best pediatric dentists around and was super accommodating and found a way to fit me into the schedule due to a dental emergency while I was visiting from Canada. I felt very comfortable while I was here and Dr Priya took the time to clearly explain everything to me. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Priya!

I found this practice to be very inviting and cheerful, which makes it a little easier to convince my 2 year old to visit the dentist. Dr. Priya is great with kids and makes sure to have a follow up conversation after the appointment with the parents in regard to over all dental health and hygiene and how to take preventative measures to avoid the situations arising in the first place. Fantastic first experience at the dentist!

As other reviewers have stated, this doctor misdiagnoses cavities. Dr. Priya stated that each of my children had multiple cavities. I found this very difficult to believe given that my children had regular visits to a dental office for many years with no diagnosed cavities before we sat in her chair. Moreover, we live a healthy lifestyle. We have been with our new dentist for some time now and no diagnosed cavities. I am glad I did not allow Dr. Priya to do unnecessary drilling on my children's teeth. She is also the only dentist that I have come across that performs multiple x-rays in a single year for routine care.

"Best Dentist Ever" said my 7 year old daughter as we left after our first visit. The entire staff was so helpful and nice. Dr. Priya took the time to talk to me about dental health for my kids - foods to avoid, etc. Being new to the area, it took me forever to pull the trigger on a new dentist for the kids. Glad I found a great one...on the first try! :-)

If I could give no stars to this clinic I wouldn't do it, is the most terrible clinic I ever been with my baby, specially because been a dental clinic for kids, they don't have changing table in the restroom.

Dr. Priyah is excellent! My girls have been seen by Dr. Priyah for a year now. They are 6 and 8 years old. Dr. Priyah is very thorough and is great with kids. Looking forward to our return in 6 months. Very friendly front staff personnel as well. Would highly recommend this dental practice!

As a mother of 6 kids I’ve experienced the gamut of dentists in the Roswell/East Cobb area, from the downright dirty and incompetent to the arrogant and patronizing Children’s Dental Village is by far the best pediatric dental practice in town The receptionist is friendly and helpful, she’ll try to find the appointments that fit into your schedule and will call if something more convenient opens up Dr Priya’s friendly, congenial and humble. She speaks to each parent/s after every visit and offers guidance and advice on improving your child’s dental health from a wholistic point of view - diet and hygiene. I also like the diversity of the patients I see here whenever I visit ?????????????????? The office’s fairly clean I highly recommend Children’s Dental Village ??????????

Poor customer care I have been following up for call back, left voice message twice in last two weeks and spoke to front desk to talk about ongoing billing dispute, but they won't call you back.. Answers I got were ,finance manager is working from home, we don't know his schedule, we will leave a message etc.. This is forcing me to write a review online.. and can expand on billing dispute issue later. [Update 6/28] - Received call back from the practice and Finance manager clarified that he was away taking care of family isssue. Glad to see the issue resolved.

Staff seems friendly. The kids think that the hygienists are a bit heavy handed. They don’t remember having experienced that with their old dentist. Location is convenient. So far they’ve taken all of our insurance types.

We had our first visit today and I'm happy with Dr Priya Madhiwala and her staff for their caring and thorough approach. We look forward to returning!

They were super awesome! Not pushy! Worked with my child and made her feel at ease. They are funny and caring. It was a great experience and we will definitely continue receiving dental services from them.

Do NOT let this dentist take your money. I had all three of my children's teeth cleaned on January 14th. They were new patients who had never been seen by Dr. Priya. They were regular patients of Dr. Wesley Powell, but because of new insurance he was now an out of network dentist. I was very pleased with Dr Powell. I was referred to Dr. Priya by a friend. Once my teen-aged children had their routine cleanings done, Dr. Priya consulted with me about their active treatment plans. I was very taken aback when I saw the extensive work that needed to be done, especially since we eat mostly a pescaterian and plant based diet. Dr Priya "assured" me it had to be my children's diet content that was causing the cavities. I wasnt so sure. My younger two are definitely predisposed to cavities in their posteriors as they have deep back teeth like mine. But I knew something was fishy. I called my previous dentist and had them send me my children's records. TO THE T Dr. Priya had suggested my children needed fillings in EACH tooth that had already been filled by my previous dentist. These filling were less than 4 yo. Unbelievable!! I thought it odd that she said there was no reason for me to see films, because cavities dont show up on x-ray...Why take them then? I would not recommend anyone take their children to this dentist.

Awesome place to take your kids! The dental assistants are super friendly and make it a comfortable experience. The Dentist is very informative as well and does not leave you guessing as far as treatment plans. I would recommend Children's Dental Village to everyone.

This place is AMAZING! I can’t say enough good things about it. The staff is incredible with very small children. My son just turned two and previously had a very traumatic experience at a different dental office, so I was extremely apprehensive about this cleaning. From the moment we walked in they put him at ease and we will absolutely be back and recommend them to all his buddies!!!

Doctor priya and her team are always above and beyond whenever we needed help or in case of emergency this our 3rd year with doctor priya and we can't be more thankful for such a trusted and great service . My now 5 years old never cried or felt distress eventhough she had 4 cavity treatments.

Children’s Dental Village has been wonderful to my son since his first dentist appointment at 6 months. Dr. Priya is patient with my toddler now as he is getting used to his appointments. Would definitely recommend this team for pediatric dentistry.

I cannot say enough how much we appreciate Dr. Priya & her staff. My son had to have a cavity filled & I was more nervous than he was. Her staff made us feel calm & well taken care of from the minute we walked in. My guy was in & out in very little time, and the way Dr. Priya talked him through it- with compassion & experise all while soothing — I felt humbled by her care. Thank you Dr. Priya & your wonderful staff- see you in 6 months! Update: my son took a bad fall right to the teeth- nothing seemed obviously wrong (no broken or loose teeth) but there was a lot of bleeding & his gums were bruised. Dr. Priya & her staff got us in within the hour (they were closing for the holidays) - took xrays & gave thorough advice on how to proceed with different scenarios & specifics on what I should be looking for- she is the best, consistently top level care.

My 16 month olds first dentist visit and she did very well. Typical fussing as kids do, but Dr. Priya was really quick so the fussing didn’t last long. I totally recommend this office to parents.
