Dentistry at Sommerset is the best dental practice I have ever experienced!! Very competent, talented staff, hygienists and doctors. Wonderful, low anxiety ambience. Highly recommend.

Great place, wonderful service. The hygienist always communicating with you and very cheerful and very interested in you and how you are feeling and very very helpful. Very very great people. Pain free. No pains. Very courteous staff, everyone is ready for you, ready to receive your greetings, your smiles, they greet you back, they smile back at you , you are so welcomed, you feel very, very comfortable instantaneously and you feel the warmth of this unique amazing staff and this place. The hygienist comes to get and room you and waits on you every minute of the way. The hygienist does her work on you very, very detailed and without pain or any discomfort. The hygienist is able to tell you about your coverage for any of the procedures during your cleaning visit. When it’s all done and you are about to leave almost everyone at the front desk tells you “ have a good rest of your day” . This you know, you have just been to a great place and you have just had another great experience and you are full of gratitude and you are looking to share this experience and looking for someone to tell to about it.

Incredibly friendly and kind staff. I've never felt more comfortable. I've had this particular procedure done twice before and was in pain during and days after. Two days after my visit to Somerset and I still have not experienced any pain or swelling. At most some slight soreness in my jaw. I cannot recommend this place enough.

My first visit for a consult, and was VERY impressed!! Friendly staff, open and honest doctor. They don't tell you what THEY are going to do going forward, they actually give you options based on the exam!!! Amazing! Honesty, integrity, and a fun personality to boot. It's official- there exists a place on planet earth where you can actually look forward to getting a root canal. I had so much anxiety and fear coming into the office and left feeling so cared for! The office is state of the art but it's the people and culture that really set this place apart. Feeling anxious? They will offer you a weighted blanket. Would a certain aroma put you at ease? They will diffuse an essential oil of your choice. This is just the beginning. Try them! You will not regret it!

The staff at Dentistry at Somerset have been very professional and yet warm and welcoming. Megan has been my hygienist on multiple visits and helped me develop a plan to get my teeth as healthy as can be after not being to the dentist in over a year. That was so helpful to me getting back on track with my dental health.

Everyone is always very nice. My dental assistant always does a wonderful job. My teeth always look like I got a whitening treatment when I come out!

I went in today for the free dental clinic event, everyone was so nice starting with the front desk ladies. My dental hygienist Megan was awesome! She was so nice and attentive and made me feel comfortable.

I've recommended this dentistry to many people whether they have a dentist somewhere else. As I've said before this Somerset Dentistry is the best in all of Iowa, if not beyond! I began this dentistry when I first moved her to Ames in 1983 upon a referral from a friend who was a patient there in their other location. I had to stop for a few years of not accepting Title 19. In 2003 Dr. Readhead, at that time accepted me back which I & his s was thrilled about! He was my dentist until the day he retired. Not knowing if Dr. Niegsch would accept me as his patient, there are no words to express my gratitude when he did! For over 10 or so years he, his assistants, & staff have been so gracious to me I feel honored to be a patient there. I would definitely, sincerely express to anyone that Dentistry at Somerset is the dentistry would ever want knowing their care will be nothing but honest, caring, helpful, & most of all listening to what their patients have to say, whether is be good or bad.

Fabulous experience. Everything was explained thoroughly. I look forward to my next visit.

Great hospitality which is an unusual thing to say about a dentist office. They truly due make you feel welcome. The medical care is professional prompt and thorough.

Great facility and staff is an understatement. I always feel so welcome by everyone in the office. Particular shout-outs to Bailee the hygienist and Ann at the front desk, however everyone I've encountered has been so nice and friendly. I have terrible dental anxiety and this office couldn't do more to ease that for me. The comfort item menu is outstanding, and I virtually feel at home while my teeth are being drilled into! I've always requested that prior-authorizations be submitted so that I can have an idea of the cost of the procedures, and I've never had anyone bat an eye at that request. Their text/call/email reminders are great and keep me on track. They are always quick to follow up after a procedure and make sure my experience exceeded expectations - which it always does. I moved to Des Moines but still drive to Ames for my dentist appointments because of their extraordinary care. Can't recommend them enough. 5 stars and beyond!

My wife and I have used this practice for our dental care since moving to Ames in 2004. We highly recommend Somerset Dentistry. They have modern equipment and techniques. I can depend on them for regular and ongoing care. Thanks for a very professional exam today Dr. Niegsh and for my oral care Bailee! Dr. Krook was very professional when he checked my teeth and gums at my request because I had experienced some tooth sensitivity. He found no problems and recommended continual monitoring. Some dentists might have just gone ahead and did work that didn't need to be done.

Very welcoming, complete care for me as a longtime patient. Waiting room amenities are awesome! Staff from front office, hygienists and Dr's. are the best. Thank you for taking care of me always!

This a very friendly and professional office. Bailee was the lady that cleaned my teeth and I felt that she did an excellent and friendly job. Dr. Krook was the dentist that checked me over and he too was excellent and friendly. I used to dread going to a dentist and since switching to Dentistry at Somerset, I find it a very pleasant experience.

Was my first time and had a great experience. I had a cleaning and loved how my teeth turned out and the products recommended. I would highly recommend this dentistry to anyone who might have had a bad experience in the past.

I have been a bit terrified of going to a dentist after some negative experience at a dentist. Dentistry at Somerset has changed that for me. Dr. Krook corrected some incorrectly completed work done by another dentist, saving me from future issues. Then I had Dr. Niegsch who did filling, root canal and extraction with zero problem. The support staff are top notch, helpful, informed and they really show they care in all they do. Their comfort menu is amazing idea. I watched Netflix during root canal and it helped. Awesome overall experience!

To be incredibly honest, I could not sleep at all the night before my appointment. I have had mostly negative experiences with dentists growing up. My experience with Dentistry at Somerset was the first time I left the dentist feeling excited to return. As a PhD student, my time is incredibly valuable and I felt that the office was quick and adamant about being as productive as possible during my appointment. I was greeted by Wendy who gave me a virtual tour of the office and gifted me some awesome glassware! Gillian and Hayley made x-rays as easy and comforting as possible. Gillian frequently checked in on me to ensure that I was not in any sort of discomfort. Marnie was adamant about getting me back in ASAP so I could get my cleaning done before the semester gets busy. Dr. Krook was professional and clearly explained to me my options and a plan going forward. I appreciated the transparency that he provided. I don't remember the dental hygienist's name but she was a rockstar and I could not be more happy with my how my teeth turned out. If you are considering Dentistry at Somerset, I would confidently recommend them to any family member and close friend.

I had a tooth extracted and I would have to say it was the least pain that I have ever experienced from a dental procedure. Everything about my experience was first rate. I can't think of anything that they could have done better. I would highly recommend this dental clinic.

I've always received great service here and would recommend to anyone. I've had to pay a sizeable amount though for what my insurance wouldn't cover.

I had such a wonderful first visit! Dentistry at Somerset has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff does everything they can to make you as comfortable as possible. I did all my registration paperwork online, so my check-in was quick and easy. I mentioned that I have some anxiety when it comes to dental appointments, and my hygienist made a point of asking whether I feel more at ease with a broad overview of my prognosis or a detailed conversation. Having a clearly explained, comprehensive talk about what was going on really helped put my mind at ease. It felt so good to have someone take feedback and IMMEDIATELY put it to good use! And the business team had a totally seamless workflow for my insurance, so I left the office knowing exactly what I would pay and when. I cannot recommend Dentistry at Somerset enough!!

Dentistry at Somerset made me feel right at home right away! It's abundantly clear they have put a great deal of effort into making all the most uncomfortable parts of dental work more tolerable, and in some cases downright comfy! I was very impressed with the level of customer service and their understanding with ISU students, too. Before my appointment this morning I called in a panic because my new dental insurance hadn't been pushed through from ISU yet, but they said that happens all the time this time of year and would follow up with Delta later in the week. Simply the best dentist experience I have ever had and I been to many different dentist before. The nurse was very nice and gentle and the doctor was very smooth to the point that I almost slept during a root canal!

Just ok. They will get you the basic you need. Customer service is exceptional. Quality of treatment is just ok. The insurance quoted amount is not what you will be billed. It is slightly higher.

I've been going to Dentistry at Somerset for a couple years now while I was in school at Iowa State. Their staff is always very welcoming and makes you feel right at home. They take the time to get to know you and your interests, and it makes the dentist experience a little more enjoyable.

I am very particular about my teeth and so when I first saw Dentistry at Somerset I let them know that, and was very happyappy with the teeth cleaning I got. I like to double check their work and let them know if I'd like something to have another touch up and they're perfectly okay with that.

This place is first class with friendly, helpful staff. I enjoy going to this dentist. :)
