I went to them wanting to find out more about implants. I was very impressed with the information and decided to go through with it. 8 months later, I have 4 implants and a full bottom plate that snaps in and I could not be happier. Dr.Brown and the whole staff are top notch.

I had an amazing experience and I was really happy with my whitening results. I got some tooth sensitivity right before bed but ibuprofen took care of the discomfort.

Thank you for the nice review Alex! Glad the ibuprofen helped.

I’d never go back to them ever again. I went to them about a year to two years ago, got dentures from them. I was having issues wearing the top ones because of my major gag reflex. I have been contacting them about getting them adjusted and they only told me that can be done to fix my issues is get implants to solve the issues I have wearing the top. They molded it wrongly and refused to fix them. The dentist told me “you just need to get use to them to overcome the gag reflex.”, umm that’s not possible to do unless everyone has no tonsils. I don’t recall the dentist name, something with an N.

Campustown Dental: A True Partner in My Dental Health Dr. Nahm and Heidi did an exceptional job in giving me a new crown on the hardest working tooth in my mouth--the farthest back lower left molar. From the expertly administered Novocaine shot (Dr. Nahm uses a special technique that made it less unnerving) and expert drilling process (my jaw didn't even hurt after the Novocaine wore off), to the detailed work Heidi did to help create the final finished product (a lovely pearly crown), I couldn't be happier. (And I had no issues with my temporary crown--a first for me.) This is the best dentist experience I've EVER had, hands down, and I've been on the planet a long time with a family history of "problematic" munchers. Thank you to everyone at Campustown Dental. I would have never found you if my daughter didn't go to ISU!

Was at a conference in town when my temporary crown came off. They were able to get me in within a few hours and the technician that remade/replaced the crown (my original temporary one broke) did a fantastic job and had me out of there in less than 30 minutes. Excellent customer service and quality care.

Dr. Nahm and his staff are wonderful. My kids needed a new dentist and he has gone above and beyond with their care. Couldn't ask for a more wonderful experience at the dentist.

I had an appointment to have a 6 month teeth cleaning here as it was my only option after my regular dentist stopped taking my dental insurance when the state of Iowa switched things around with insurance. Fallon did a great job with the regular cleaning, and she was very personable. When Dr. Nahm came by to check my teeth before sending me on my way, he explained I had 8 “cavities” that needed to be filled and was very adamant about me coming back later the same day to get them filled. I have had buccal pit watches on all my molars since I was a child and they have never been an issue. I have been diligent with my 6 month appointments, and I have never had a filling in my life. This seemed incredibly rushed to me, and I felt pressured to make a decision without being given much information. I decided against scheduling an appointment to fill all of these “cavities”, and instead opted to schedule a couple second opinions with my original dentist and others, and they all agreed that I didn’t need any fillings and that my teeth looked great. One dentist also commented on the fact that it looked like my teeth had slightly remineralized around the buccal pits as well, and I should keep doing what I was doing. I think campustown dental is fine for a dental cleaning if you’re in the market for one, but I would advise against getting any dental work done here without getting a second or third opinion.

I needed to go in for a chipped front tooth a couple of weeks ago and they were able to fit me into their schedule right away. From there, they talked me through all of the options that I could use under my insurance and helped me make the best choice for my long term care. Two weeks later, the new tooth still feels and looks great. They also included a pair of follow-up visits at no cost to me to ensure that everything worked out to my satisfaction. Dr. Nahm was extremely friendly and did a great job of talking me through the progress in the procedure. I plan to be back to take care of my dental needs for as long as I'm in Ames!
