Emergency dental issue - cracked tooth - and they adjusted their schedule to get me in. Then again went above and beyond by finding an oral surgeon who could extract timely and they even made that appointment for me. Sure can’t beat that type of service.

I love Doc Rock and all of her staff! This is the best dentistry practice in Ames - and there are several very good ones! Dr. Rockow has state-of-the-art equipment and treatments. She and her staff are always highly professional but also friendly and helpful. I aways look forward to my dental appointments!

My consultation with Dr. Amie was informative and thorough. Her knowledge and experience were obvious, but her demeanor was calm and open to all my questions and concerns.

They’re always thorough and very clean. I had some anxiety today with my appointment and everyone was understanding and kind and went out of their way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible.

Everyone was super nice and friendly! Very sanitary environment! Great atmosphere with great music. I noticed a play/tv area for children as well.

Extra precautions were necessary because of COVID-19 and the staff are very conscientious. The people and the surroundings are very welcoming. I was so happy to get straight up information and options about my care plan. They spoke with me about pricing and gave me more information. I feel that the pricing is more than fair. I'm excited to have a smile I'm proud of and teeth to chew with again soon. ?

Needed a lot done to my teeth and they were attentive and caring through and through! Carrie who did my full exam and cleaning was AMAZING ? No one made me feel bad or judged for not being to the dentist in a few years. I adore the staff and am sad that I moved away because they would definitely be my forever dentist.

I cannot describe how wonderful my last visit was. I even get teary-eyed just thinking back to it. In the midst of Covid, I had been avoiding going to the dentist, not because I didn't feel safe (I definitely did feel safe - the staff followed guidelines/protocols) but because I didn't want to be reminded of the how much the pandemic has affected our everyday lives, including having any conversation about Covid during my visit. With my job I talk about Covid almost every day which can be mentally and physcially draining and I just wanted to enjoy my visit without having to talk about what the last 6 months have been like. To my surprise, besides the screening at the beginning, no one once talked about Covid. Tracie Jorchum made me feel so relaxed and at peace with conversing about anything other than Covid. I just want to thank her from the bottom of my heart as she made my day. I felt so refreshed and alive -- not only after a good teeth cleaning but knowing that you can visit and have a conversation without the mention of Covid. Thank you Tracie and Dr. Amie!

The staff were polite and practiced very thorough sanitary precautions during my visit. I appreciated the care they took and the wonderful job they did!

Having Amie as my dentist is very important to me because she goes above and beyond what is necessary to accommodate her patients, especially those that come from out of town. She is that dedicated that she pulls patients from out of state to her practice. Even during this covid-19 virus, she bundles up her staff to protect them and give them the ability to help their patients.

Very nice staff. My hygenist, Kari, is the best. She makes the experience about as comfortable and fun as it can be. Dr. Amie is also great. Have been coming here for over a decade now and I keep coming back.

I always have a positive experience when I go to Ames Center for Cosmetic & Family Practice. The dental assistants are always friendly & very efficient & concerned about your comfort. Amy Rockow Nelson is also friendly & thorough. Her waiting room & dental rooms are welcoming & cozy looking. Not a scary experience to go to the dentist. Kind of fun!

I came to this dentist after going to Aspen Dental for a couple years, and wow — what night and day difference in service quality! I highly recommend this dentist. If they’re not in your insurance network don’t let that limit you. They’re not in mine either, but I still end up paying about the same as I did at Aspen Dental (who is in my network) but am getting much better quality service for my buck.

My wife and kids have been going here for years. The staff is great and Dr Amie is the best!

Doctor Rockow Nelson runs a first class office. Great staff. I had an implant done recently, and it went very well, no issues, no pain, great job!

Dr. Amie and Kari, my usual hygenist, always make me feel welcome and do a fantastic job. I go for my regular cleanings and they always remember what I have going on in my life, even though I only see them twice a year. A delightful bunch of people here!

As usual a great experience. The use of more modern cleaning tools results in much less is use of the dreaded scrapping hook.

This is the nicest, most thoughtful dentists' office I have ever been to. Upon checking in I was offered treats in the form of homemade cookies and beverages. Once back in the chair I was offered a pillow and blanket. The dentist, Dr. Rockow-Nelson walked me through her process, listened to my concerns, and was honest about my treatment plan. I never felt pressured or overwhelmed. The scan provided was free whereas another dentist in town wanted to charge me $300 for a scan if I decided not to go through with treatment. Being able to have the scan and see a projected outcome of treatment reassured me and made me feel as though my goals were attainable. I would recommend this practice!

I forgot to post my experience on the last post...I always enjoy going into the office. EVERYONE is so nice. I learned about Dr. Amie because I needed an appliance made for my sleep apnea; which is far better than putting one of those apparatuses around my head and having air forced down my nose. The appliance is by far, a better choice. Dr. Amie knows her stuff. She has been great through the whole process and it is working well.

Dr. Amie and everybody else in the office are absolutely amazing. They make you feel very comfortable and discuss the procedures with you in detail. Dr. Amie made sure I was happy with the outcome and always answered all my questions. She is definitely an expert! Heather was amazing as well and made sure I was comfortable and enjoyed my visits.

I am from out of town and am currently in Ames for a business trip. Started having some issues with my teeth (obviously) and stumble across this dentistry on google, and it is the highest rated dentistry in the area. And for good reason. Some of the best customer service, friendly environment, attentiveness, and care for their patients is top notch. I highly recommend this dentist.

I have had extensive work done, and required an upper denture. The staff is incredibly polite and nice, in a very rare form these days. Pricing is given in a straight forward manner BEFORE they actually do anything as well; so you know charges before any decisions are made. I would recommend this dental office to anyone at all!!
