Hadn’t been to the dentist during Covid so I was fearing this 1st appointment with a new dentist. The team at Belmont is amazing!!! Easiest Dr appointment of all time and I’ve never received such a great teeth cleaning.

It was a quick exam on my daughter and they refer me to another dentist for her situation. Afterwards Dr Teen was very helpful and understanding and we communicate better. Appreciate he helped me to solve my situation.

Excellent dental office! They have the latest technology and even 3D print crowns and attach them the same day, so there's no dealing with a temporary. They also work very gently and have a good bedside manner that puts you at ease. Perfect if going to the dentist makes you nervous like me. The building is very modern and clean with high ceilings and good sanitary precautions. Dr. Yoon is a fantastic dentist. She's very knowledgeable, highly skilled, and possesses an excellent attention to detail. Can't recommend this practice highly enough!

As always belmont dentistry has gone above and beyond. I called them with a last minute emergency and they were so kind to find me a slot to come in as soon as they could. The staff is always kind, knowledgeable and caring of any needs you may have. I would highly recommend them for any of your toofs needs!! It took me many dentist before I found Belmont dental. If your unhappy with your current practice check out this one. Promise you won’t be disappointed.

I've been going here for three years and every time I leave an appointment I think "this is the best dental team ever!" They do great work, are all lovely people, and charge a fair price.

I recently moved to Portland and decided to make an appointment at Belmont Family Dentistry, based on the phenomenal reviews I read about their business online. My first impression was that the receptionist who scheduled my appointment was so kind and helpful. I went in for my appointment today and had an all-around fantastic experience - leaving with my teeth feeling cleaner than they ever have before. Each professional I met today was incredibly nice, skilled and informative. Belmont Family Dental exceeded my expectations in every way, and I truly look forward to future appointments.

Just had another visit to Belmont Family Dentistry and thankfully some things do stay the same. I have been a patient at Belmont Family Dentistry for ten years and every visit from the very first one has been the same……amazing! The staff are all so warm, friendly, genuine, professional and make you feel that you are not simply another patient passing through their doors…that as the patient you truly matter in every manner. It is a family practice but I must say that every time I walk through their door, I so feel like I am being treated like family. Belmont Family Dentistry is so deserving of a 5+ review!

Everyone in my family has enjoyed Dr. T and his staff for several years now. Friday afternoon my 13 year old son wrecked his bike and broke his front tooth. Even though Belmont was super busy on a Friday afternoon, they somehow squeezed us in and Dr. Yoon made it look like nothing had ever happened. Painless procedure too. They do amazing work! The first time I was in the office was with my three year old granddaughter. I was so impressed by the care of the team and their beautiful office that I made an appt for my husband and I to become new patients. Before the new patient exam I broke a tooth. Their receptionist got me in right away. I am a retired dental hygienist and I was so pleased with the superior care that was provided. Dr. T and his assistant explained all details of what was to occur and used the finest equipment to make the experience efficient. I wish that dentistry had been so seamless all the years I have been a patient and a professional. Thank you!

I love my dentist. I actually enjoy coming and chatting with everyone so much that I forget that I’m actually having to do something annoying and inconvenient. Everyone at Belmont is kind, generous, comforting, and efficient. I will actually be devastated and probably start neglecting my teeth again if I was ever forced to go somewhere else. Also, they have Birthday Cake flavored tooth polish when you get your teeth cleaned! I mean come on, that in and of itself deserves 5 stars!!!

Took me in as a new patient in short notice, were incredibly accurate, thorough, and, most importantly, sympathetic. They made sure I was well taken care of, even as a new patient, and knew exactly what was going on without any pressure, or guilt. Recommending them to all of my friends.

It isn’t very often that you hear someone say they enjoyed a visit to the dentist. But, I can say that in all truthfulness. As much as I appreciate the skills of Dr. Tinkle and my dental hygienist, Alana, it was their interactions with me that really made it a pleasant experience. They both have a great “bedside manners.“

Everyone who works here is incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. Every treatment I have received, no matter how basic, was explained in a very transparent way. They have reasonable rates, and as someone who gets nervous about dental appointments, everyone I have interacted made me feel safe and comfortable. Shout out to Danyell for being some kind of hygiene wizard…most gentle touch I have ever experienced! Is it weird that I am looking forward to my next cleaning?!

The Best!

Equal parts professional and personable, Dr. Tinkle and staff are both very skilled and have a terrific bed-side manner. Being someone who gets nervous at the dentist—they put your mind to ease in the chair and you leave with terrific results! I’ve had Invisalign (tooth removal for that), a crown on a molar, an implant molar and now finishing off with a couple veneers in the front. I asked Dr. Tinkle for a plan on having healthy teeth into my older age and he has been an amazing practitioner to make that happen. Thank you, Belmont Family Dentistry!

Belmont dentistry is the best!

This was my first dentist appointment back in 4 years because I’m not really fond of the dentist, but the employees here made my first experience back really pleasant! Everyone was really nice, informative, and easy to talk to. I felt really comfortable here!

ETA: It is now 2021 and we still love this place! We have just started taking our 2.5 year old with us to get her comfortable for her first visit with Dr. Tinkle and the wonderful assistants. They are so accommodating to our children's comfort and always take time to answer all of our questions. From the front desk to the back room you get nothing but kindness. My 4 yo even felt so comfortable with everyone she was able to get her teeth cleaned ON HER OWN in the room next to mine while I had mine done. This was our first visit mind you, so we'd never met any of these people before. However, everyone was so friendly we both felt comfortable enough to go our separate ways. I highly recommend families to go here, or any one person. Excellent atmosphere and work done here. Thank you!! Finally found our family dentist!

Danyell is the best hygienist I have ever seen! 10 out of 10 stars. She is so knowledgeable and really puts you at ease. I really love that she listens to your concerns and makes sure the whole experience is tailored to your needs. Going to the dentist can be a drag but I look forward to it with Danyell!

Very friendly people in there, but I am very disappointed in the reaction of the doctor. She said my 3 year old has karies without looking well at her. She did not clean her teeth, she did not try to get rid of the karies stage 1 what is definitely possible and she did not seal the caries to protect her other teeth from spreading. I paid $25 for this visit. I would not recommend this dentist and will not come back. I have studied in Germany and worked as a dental assistant.

Best dental office in Portland. From Paula, Sara, and Jessie in the front office to my dental hygienist Danyell, this practice is a well run machine. Dr Tinkle is a kind and funny family guy which fits in with my personality perfect. He cares about his patients and staff which is admirable in today’s world. I will recommend this clinic to all my family and friends that are looking for good dental care in the future.

They are always so friendly and businesslike as well. This appointment I received a crown! There was almost no pain and very little discomfort. They had wonderful new technology that created a great crown right there at their office. In days not too long ago, a mold had to be taken. Then they installed a temporary crown and you had to have another appointment to swap crowns for the permanent one.

Today I had an appointment cleaning with Danyell for second time . She is a really kind person, she makes me feel really comfortable. When she is doing her work I see she really love what she do.

Best dentist experience I’ve ever had! Everyone is professional and friendly!

I have so many dental phobias it too embarrassing To even write about or mention . every dingle one of these people the dentist the assistant the front desk support made this so easy to do . It is reassuring highest technology and emotionally present and caring environment. Dr.Tinkle is amazingly sensitive. I love to high tech tools for less invasion exam and could definitely do without the ugly big screen photos of my teeth.

This is the cleanest, most organized dental office I have ever been to. I went twice in 2020 during the pandemic and always felt comfortable that the staff was upholding all of the recommended safety measures. I love that I am always in and out and NOT waiting around for long periods to be seen. Love chatting with Danyell, she's the best!

My first two visits were excellent, and this is going to be my choice for future dental care. Everyone was very attentive, thorough, and compassionate (so rare in dentistry!). I work in healthcare myself, and have high standards for professionalism, and these folks exceeded my expectations. I saw Dr. Yoon and she addressed each of my questions and concerns one by one. I also had a pain-free dental cleaning from Nikki two days later. The facilities seemed top-notch. Very clean with modern up-to-date equipment & tech. I felt calm & re-assured that these are competent dentists. I was referred to this clinic by three other professionals whom I asked for referrals from separately: 1 naturopath, 1 facial surgeon, and 1 orthodontist. They all recommended this place. I’ve never had such a good dental experience and this will be the place I go to from now on. Prices were very comparable to other places, and I felt that the dental cleaning price was especially fair. X-ray machine was the least intimidating machine I have ever been x-rayed with before too (in case you’re like me, and dislike having x-rays taken. )

This was the most positive, encouraging and educational dental experience I have had. As someone with long dental history filled with trauma and anxiety I am truly grateful to have found this clinic. I've been going to Dr. Tinkle since 2017. He is the most relaxed yet professional person I've been to for a while. The staff is top notch too. Dr. Tinkle has taken care of several of my problem teeth. And by that I mean that he's done root canals, basic cavities, maintenance, etc. It's so comfortable in Dr. Tinkle's new office that I want to hang out for the whole day.

Everyone at Belmont Family Dentistry is just so kind and nice. They are knowledgeable, make you feel welcomed and relaxed, and I trust them with my smile more than I do any other dentist. Dr Tinkle is also extremely smart and nice. On top of all that, they have enough dental hygienists on staff to offer appointments without having to wait months in advanced. They also have the most up to date technology, making appointments comfortable and quick. 10/10 would recommend.

We recently moved to Portland and needed a new dentist. After doing some research, we decided to try Belmont Family Dentistry, and we are now glad that we did. The staff is uniformly friendly, and the facility is very modern, up-to-date, and clean. Belmont did a deep cleaning of my teeth and filled several cavities. I am very satisfied with the work. I had a follow up visit and again was very satisfied with the work on my teeth. And all the staff that I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. I visit Belmont Family Dentistry every 6 months. They continue to do excellent work. Today I had my second visit during the COVID pandemic. I felt very comfortable with the precautions they have instituted. I should also note that they have very up to date equipment. It’s a pleasure working with them, and I definitely would recommend this dentistry practice.

I’ve recently relocated to Portland (leaving behind my dentist of over 45 years) and decided that I would heed my daughter’s recommendation of choosing Belmont Family Dental for my dental care. I had my first appointment today with Dr. Tinkle. I had such a positive experience! The dental office is modern and at the same time cozy, comfortable and inviting. Everyone there was kind, helpful and patiently answered any questions that I had. My exam was thorough and Dr. Tinkle and I agreed upon a plan to move forward in treating some issues with my teeth. He was so knowledgeable and really very nice. I couldn’t have felt more reassured. I’m actually looking forward to returning to this dental office. I know! who ever says that they are looking forward to their next dental appointment!? I’m so pleased :) ***UPDATE*** Just finished my Invisalign teeth straightening treatment with Dr T and I am nothing but wonderfully pleased with the results :))

Amazing!

I've been coming here for years, and it's always been a great experience. Usually just routine cleanings and x-rays, but today I had my first crown put in, which I was a little nervous about. Not only was it a near totally painless procedure (the only passing discomfort came from the anesthetic application), but I was in and out in under 2 hours thanks to their entirely in-house 3-D scanning and crown fabrication. One visit, nothing temporary, no issues with insurance. Look, no one likes having their teeth prodded and fiddled with. But if it's going to happen anywhere, do yourself a favor and check out Belmont Family Dentistry.
