Andrea Matsumura, MD, MS FACP

My last visit was a virtual visit on Monday Oct 18, 2021 with Andrea Matsumura. To start off Dr. Matsumura was ~20 Minutes late, the scheduled session went fine afterwards, she gave me relevant information and how to read the results of my sleep study. During the call Dr. Matsumura said she would order another sleep study for me but this time an in home sleep study which I was excited to do. Two weeks went by without any updates to me, I called into the office I spoke to the receptionist, I explained to her that I should have received another sleep study. The young lady then proceeded to check on the status with Dr. Matsumura, when the receptionist got back on the phone with me she informed me that Dr. Matsumura said no further action is required and that I would not be receiving an in home sleep study, this is after Dr. Matsumura told me explicitly that she would order me another in home sleep study. I was confused to say the least, I didn't get an explanation beyond what the receptionist conveyed to me. Considering how late Dr. Matsumura showed up to the call and going back on her word I cannot recommend her services nor the services of the Oregon Clinic with any confidence.

I have had excellent service with my online appointments. Sr Matsumura is very patient and is very thorough and is quite sympathetic and professional in her communication and presence! I truly appreciate her style and kindness!

Andrea took the time to really listen to my problems, educate me, and work a solution within my very limited timeframe. She was attentive, professional, and pleasant to work with.

Dr. Matsumura was on time for my yearly CPAP checkup. All went well. She made some suggestions for me and I was on my way.

I saw Dr. Matsumura because I wasn't having restful sleep at night. She was very helpful in describing the possible reasons and the various levels of sleep challenges people have. She recommended a sleep study for me and I had the study done in the same Oregon Clinic building, which was nice because I was familiar with it. Yesterday I had a follow up visit with Dr. Matsumura and she said that I did not have sleep apnea, which is a relief!

This was the best Dr Apt i have ever been to. She listened, was informative and cleared up incorrect info given from other doctors that i had received. Even left with a plan to ensure issue will be resolved!
