Absolute Dental - Cheyenne

I visited Absolute Dental last year on West Cheyenne in Las Vegas. Staff was very attentive, courteous, professional. I went back ‘yesterday’ for my annual checkup with a few concerns. Again, I found the staff to be equally pleasant and professional. They help you feel comfortable. The dentist and hygienist were very thorough, addressing some issues I need to be aware of and how to move forward with them. I appreciated the concern and suggestions/recommendations for my future care. I recommend Absolute Dental and this office. Thank you for a good experience!

Had a wonderful professional experience recently getting my teeth cleaned here. Always a great experience. Freddy and Laura were next level. Professional and friendly. Thank you for taking care of my dental health and doing so with a positive attitude!

I have been going to this Absolute Dental for abut 5 years or so. The staff there has always been helpful and I know I can trust my dental care to be done well. I had an excellent experience today for my biannual cleaning with the dental hygenist Laura and dental assistant Freddy. Both provided wonderful conversation and helpful tips for my dental needs. In the past I've had dental emergencies happen where a crown popped off, and the staff got me in within minutes to help out after I arrived. The only problem I've had over the last few years is trying to call and get assistance with mostly trying to reschedule appointments. I know with COVID everyone is short staffed. However, it's always problematic to get anything done over the phone. First the lines are busy, then they give you an option to get a call back. There is where I end up having problems, getting a call back. Next thing I know, a few days have gone by and nothing. I usually end up having to go into the office to do what I need to do. Or I am able to get through to someone, and they can't assist me over the phone, resulting in the person forwarding a message for the office to get back to me, which again, doesn't result in a call back and causing me to go into the office anyway. And unfortunately, these are not difficult things, it's usually just needing to reschedule an appointment. Please note, this all was happening before COVID. So all in all, this office is great for dental care, but know that the phone lines can be a mess. Thank you to Laura and Freddy for a pleasant dental visit today.

I got my braces done a year ago and they haven’t seen me since. I asked for an appoint to because my bracket was broken and they said if it wasn’t causing any damage to me they wouldn’t be able to fix it. They have the WORST customer service one time I went ready for my appointment and then they didn’t even see me and it was like an hour later. The lady’s at the front desk are quite rude and so are the doctors. I would not recommend going here.

Freddy and Laura assisted me today and were very kind, answered all of my questions and were very respectful. Honestly the best people and the ones you want to assist you!

This place is a scam their doctor recomens treatments that are not necessary!!! The girls in the front are rude and their service is terrible!!! They make you wait a really long time. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I been coming to this office for over 2yrs. I never took the time to review such a great office. Everyone here is very friendly and very attentive. With appointment you are seeing always on time. Today I was assisted by Dentist Lora. She is a great dentist. She acknowledged my needs and assisted me until I got a smile on my face. Staff are very nice and helpful, but Freddy provided me excellent customer service and he was very kind and caring. Thank you everyone. I highly recommend this office.

I absolutely love Absolute Dental. It can be scary to go to the dentist but everyone has been so warm and inviting. I really felt at ease in this office. Freddie was a gem, and really made sure I was comfortable throughout my x-rays. You can tell he really cares about his job and the people he works with. And don’t get me started on Madonna! Not only did she make sure I got the best care possible, but she even walked me through everything I need to do at home. I learned a lot of invaluable information from her and I am very grateful ??

They book too many appointments at the same time, and leads to long waiting times, we’ve been customers for many years but, not coming back. Lots of more and better options out there. Thank you for the services but this office needs a lot of improvement . Staff it’s much better than it used to be!

I enjoyed my visit at this location. They made me feel really at home with great conversation, smiles, and jokes. I like that they make their patients feel at ease and not uncomfortable. Doctor Huynh is super fast and gentle. He made sure l knew to inform him if l felt any discomfort which l truly appreciate. I also want to shout out Mrs. Melanie and Raritza these two ladies rock yall!!! Mrs. Melanie kept me laughing like a auntie and Raritza felt like a little sister. Such a blast!!!

The visit was O.K. but making an appointment is a nightmare. It took me three weeks before I finally was able to schedule the visit. I came very close to giving up and finding someone else. I will not subject my friends to this problem.

I just went in this morning with an incredible toothache on the recommendation of a friend, and the staff here was so polite and accommodating, it really took away a lot of my "dentist anxiety". The receptionist was so nice and professional, I had a minimal wait after completing my paperwork. The back office staff and the attending dentist were so kind and very gentle, and they listened to my concerns and made sure to do everything they could to work with me. The office manager Reina is awesome! I've been to another location in the past where I didn't have the best experience, but my faith has been restored and I will be returning to this location for myself and for my family's dental needs.

I went in to this office during the "Day of service" free dental day. It was my first time going to a dentist in 20 some years and it was my first time going to Absolute Dental. They were very pleasant and helpful and I will be back again for another procedure in a few weeks. My dental assistant and was really friendly and reassuring during the filling procedure as was my dentist Dr. Capello. Definitely will continue to use this dental office for future dental visits. Hopefully the level of service will continue.

This place is truly a meat market of Dentist they will try to get co-payments when your deductible is $2,000.all they care about is getting money from you. DONT FALL FOR IT DO SOME RESEARCH BEFORE YOU GO!!!!!!

Every dentist and hygienist in there is a scam artist. They tried to take out my perfectly good fillings and claim that I had developed 12 cavities in a 7-month span. All the while claiming that I was going to lose my teeth if I didn't get it fixed immediately. That I'd be in dentures by age 25. They were going to charge me $5, 500. But if I signed up for their credit card I only have to pay 3 grand. Lying cheats, never going again. If they tell you that you've got something get a second opinion. To make matters even worse, they knew I didn't need anything other than a cleaning and knew that Medicaid wouldn't pay for procedures I didn't need so if I wanted to fix the "problems" they claimed I'd have to pay out of pocket. For the sake of your wallet, your friends, and your family get a second opinion. Or better yet get another dentist altogether.

Don't come here if you have Medicaid. They advertise 1 free cleaning a year but upcharge you almost $1,000 for a cleaning once you're on the chair. Take your time and money elsewhere.

Please avoid going here. They are scammers. First I was told my dental insurance doesn’t cover for fillings, x-ray etc. telling me I have to pay 475$ for a cleaning, filling and apparently a root canal. 10 mins later that same lady comes in and said my insurance just got verified and quoted me at $375 for all the work done. I only came in for a cleaning and apparently they couldn’t do that today because the hygienist “was gone for the day” so, I got my fillings done and that was $142. The guy who did my x-rays did a horrible job. I asked the doctor if I should have my bottom tooth removed because I’m getting clear aligners , he just went around my question and didn’t give me a clear answer. The doctor told me I needed a root canal and they wanted to perform the surgery that day, thankfully I said no. I’ went to a specialist and turns out I actually don’t need a root canal. This place is a waste of time and money. AVOID COMING HERE TRUST THE BAD REVIEWS

They where great with my husband and I. This review is about the one on Cheyenne I always have a hard time with X-rays and they had such patience with me and helped me out with the X-rays.

Took my 10 month old here for her first dentist visit to check her gums and teeth! Every one was so sweet! They kept complimenting me on my parenting and how good she was! Made me feel so comfortable as a first time mom! Thanks for that! We’ll be returning every 6-9 months for check ups :)

I paid for my crown in full. They have canceled both of my appointments to put my permanent crown in. They never call back to reschedule my appointment I have called multiple times for a return call to schedule and I’m told that if I go in to the office I will probably get somewhere with them to schedule.Why should I have to go physically go to an office to get a reply this is ridiculous. Call me back and schedule my appointment please.

Dr. Huynh, Is so slick with his needles. Went in for a extraction and when he numbed me I swear I didn’t see the needle till afterwards, but long story short he really relieved my pain now I am sitting here numbed and wanted for my extractions...I feel like sponge bob .. few weeks later... still hate needles but get this after my visit with absolute I eventually ended up at UNLV Dental because I needed a root canal (which was cheaper) and not only did I get a root canal but the student found partial fragments in my mouth tooth fragments.. my freaking gums was sensitive to the touch an here I am thinking that they are just taking longer to heal because of my age. never again. never again will I let another play with my mouth!

Proceed with caution. After waiting for over 90 minutes past my appointment time to replace a filling, the oral exam concluded that the impacted tooth needed to be fully removed and that the 2 teeth next to it needed crowns for a bridge. I was stunned. They subsequently pressed to have the tooth removed right there and then the same day. Surprised, I left and received a 2nd and 3rd opinion from other dentists, both of which thought that the tooth removal and bridge proposal was not only unnecessary but extreme. Needless to say, this office was all to eager to inflict life-long alterations at the drop of a hat. Proceed with caution.

My appointment today was to complete extractions of three upper teeth. One tooth had broke off at the gum line but the root was still intact and my Dentist had no trouble completing the work. Everyone who works there has been very polite, greets you when you enter the office and say goodbye when you leave. Highly recommend this location.

Very disappointed in their scheduling ability. They had five people come in the same time as me for whatever reason. I sat in the lobby for 90 minutes before I was called back to sit and wait in the dentist chair without any acknowledgement or any apology. I know different work is needed for each individual but how much wait time do they feel is acceptable. Would me being 90min. late for my appointment be acceptable for them? Is my time less important to Absolute Dental?

I'm trying to fix my teeth since last year! The first time I went there I think it was July last year, after the X-rays they told me I have to wait and they won't do anything till I receive a letter from my insurance! I got the letter after a month!!! But because of covid couldn't go in the time frame and went there 3 days late. They said I have to wait for another letter! I waited, and waited, called my insurance, they said they never received anything from the office to send any letter, called back the office, they said they will email me. Never received any email. I was calling back and forth between them and the insurance until they told me I have to do another X-ray. Ok! I made an appointment. Also a pain started in my teeth! I went there, They said I need to submit a letter from my OBG that it is safe to have X-ray because I'm pregnant. I got the letter and made another appointment for cleaning for next week! When I went to the office they didn't accept the letter and send me back after more than an hour waiting! I decided to not go there anymore and changed my doctor. Was tired of them overall! Called and asked for my records! They said I have to wait 15 days and hanged up on me! Called again, they said our office is closed for lunch and they will call me back. The lady literally said the door is locked because it's their lunch time! I went to the office myself. The door wasn't locked. Asked to email me the records! They said ok and they do it at 2 pm. Still waiting for that email. So, you heared my story! Very bad customer service! You can find better places! Don't waste your time and money here!

Dr. Huynh and his assistant Melony who treated me was professional and knowledgeable of my teeth condition. The Doctor went through options of how to evaluate my condition. DR Huynn and Melony gave me excellent care. I would recommend Absolute Dental to who needs a dentist. I was quite please.

I was treated in a Timely fashion ! My pain was made well aware of by the staff & I was experiencing so much discomfort and pain they made sure I was relieved of that ASAP ! I was treated with the up-most kindness , from the staff to the actual Drs approach to my procedure ! The Dentist was very very aware & knowledgeable of how to proceed with out any discomfort or pain ! She was thorough & very professional & Dr Park & her assistant Yari , for a fella in tremendous pain they were "THE BEST" ! They made sure I was taken care of and in a very speedy fashion ! Absolutely I would recommend "Absolute Dental" to any and everyone I know ! Dr Park & Yari were just wonderful and made sure I was taken care of in such a way that I experienced NO PAIN and the after care instructions were very clear and easily understandable presented by Assistant Yari and Dr Park made sure I had a pleasant experience and a Pain Free one at that ! I was very very pleased with my over all experience at Absolute Dental ! I highly recommend that if you do not have a regular Dentist that you try "Absolute Dental" on Cheyenne & Durango ! They are just a Pleasant Staff from the front office to the Dental Assistants to the actual Dentists themselves ! THEY CARE !!!!!! It's that simple ! "THEY CARED ABOUT MY PAIN & RELIEVING IT PROMPTLY" which made a world of difference to me ! They were a true blessing at how fast they were in doing their job ! I was just very very pleased with my visit and I will be making "Absolute Dental" my ONLY Dental Facility for the duration of my dental needs ! I highly recommend them , not only for their Professional manner but their Undeniable Approach in caring for my dental pain & issue !

This past weekend I have requested my 1st dental appointment since COVID19 and I looked up through my health provider web site and found out whom to contact and make an appointment for Me, It suggested Absolute Dental and I text them, they were closed at the time and texted me back today they have given me area of choice to go to and I excepted , Natalie will be the person helping me through out the whole process and I must say Natalie did a very job well done ?, Natalie will have all 10's if this survey has a rating system ...now I have a date and time for my dental appointment and I can't wait ?...Great Job Natalie ?and Thanks.

Came here because it was close to my house. They are often busy but I like the staff and the Doctors. I have seen both. I bring my family here as they have kids and braces conveniently located in the same building. I have liked the specialist they have her also. I will continue coming back.

I don’t even know where to Begin when it comes to this practice!!. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the awesome front staff. They make feel right at home!! The general dentist is so funny and I can tell that he is an ethical doctor whom really cares about his patients! The best part is that this office has its specialist for oral surgery, endo, etc at the same office. It’s awesome I don’t have to travel around and have to meet new people. If I could give this office 100 STARS I would!!! Shout out to Jennifer. Love love love her

All the kid doctors and staff are amazing with my children! They always make them feel safe and comfortable, especially Dr. Chris he is always so funny and makes our experience very fun. Will Definitely be back.

I HATE this Dentist office and I am hardly one to judge anything or anyone cause we all have our bad days BUT .. 1st I went in for a cracked tooth that was giving me ALOT of pain .. Dr.Shang or Hyann , came in and told me I needed a root canal . They then rescheduled me for a consultation with Dr.Shang made me pay $100 just for him to tell me the EXACT same thing he told me the first time I needed a “Root Canal”. I was first told that my Health Insurance covers the root canal but not the consultation. So when I was told I had to pay 3,000 for the root canal I was VERY UPSET. They then tried to send me home with amoxicillin and ibuprofen but I was already taking that exact medicine and it wasn’t helping ANY pain I was in , when asked for something a bit stronger they denied giving me anything that’ll help with the pin. . At this point everything on the side that my tooth was on , was in agonizing pain . So I told them to just pull it even though I desperately did not want to. Dr. Shang then went on to extract my tooth.. this was done carelessly. There was no cleaning done afterward no words what so ever exchanged. They stuck a pice of gauze in my mouth and walked off, I got up to leave. Just to go home and realize that there are still pieces of my tooth left in my Gums. I’ve been calling to schedule an apt for them to pull it out but no one answers the phone even though they make everyone wait outside so it’s not like they are swarmed with patients in their face ... this office needs to be shut down or reevaluated as to who is working there.

I highly recommend their services! My previous dentist was very rough on my teeth and it prevented me from wanting to get work done for a while. At Absolute Dental Cheyenne, they’ve been great! Dr. Huynh has taken care of me a handful of times now & he has made me feel comfortable during every visit. He really made sure every procedure is done properly. The assistant, whose name starts with an R, was super friendly and worked well with the dentist. There’s another assistant, I forgot her name, who took my x-rays on my first visit & she was so upbeat and personable as well. With the pandemic, I advise to schedule in the mornings when it isn’t busy. When I did this, I was in and out in about an hour. I’m glad I found a great place & I’ll be continuing my services here.
