Absolute Dental - Blue Diamond

Daughter had an appointment at 8am to fill cavities and have a bunch other work done, took a pto day for this and I get there and they say she isn’t on the schedule…. I told them they gave me this appointment, how is she not on the schedule? and the lady was like “I can reschedule her” and I said I took the day off for this and she offered to give us a note for work /class and I said “you don’t understand, I literally took a pto day for this” and she kept offering to reschedule and I just told her I would find a new dentist… this is just so unprofessional.. how are you going to give me an appointment and then not honor it? She just kept saying they were completely booked .. not to mention the first time we went in, we weren’t seen till 2 hours after our appointment

Front desk people needs more training. One of them gave me an appointment card for my daughter and when we went there today they said that there is no appointment for her. What is the use of the appointment card if the said schedule was not going to be followed. Even their billing department was not even reliable. The only reason I was still going to this location is for the dentist and the hygienist. Desk people are so unprofessional and cold hearted. It's like talking to zombies or talking to the wall. 4.3 rating is a hoax.

I was the driver for one of their patients so I was pretty observant and the level of unprofessionalism is astounding but not surprising. No one called my sister the day prior to confirm appt, instead called her 4 hours before her surgery to tell her not to eat for 12 hours. No one explained after care, or anything really. Upon checking in there was a surprise "consultation fee" that one else knew about as I heard them complaining at the counter. Even though my sister came in the week before for what she assumed was the consultation which she paid a fee for that too. Every person that went up to the counter had an issue. There were people bringing in their spouses into the room but I was told to leave the room. Also at one point the techs were standing around talking bad about a patient after she had left then continued to talk bad about a coworker they had...Infront of patients. I don't what their problem is but I'm honestly disgusted at how this place runs.

Amazing staff, everyone was super friendly and informative...nothing like my other experience's with Absolute Dental... This one actually feels like a "small town" dentist office...not the usual chop shop experience with AD...

First off, if the dental office who referred you to this Absolute Dental location - be aware that you'll wait minimum 2-4 hours after your scheduled appointment time. Then once in, you'll need to wait almost another 30 min before being seeing by the assistant, then another 15 for the doctor. Don't bring kids, because they are not allowed to be with you. So make sure you plan on having a sitter or back up for picking up kids from school. The staff who run the front desk are very sweet so, one star goes to them. But this dental franchise sucks when it comes to your time. They pack so many appointments in a single day, that the poor doctor bounces from one patient to the next. He gets the other star for being a rockstar himself. They definitely need a better way of informing patients about the wait, so everyone can plan the day better for treatment. Sucks having to have oral surgery, sucks even more to have to wait so long without eating.

The dental hygienist is amazing she's professional and thorough she explained different options that would help you take care of your teeth im happy with my results and will continue to see her if you want you teeth Cleaned professionally i recommend you go see her .

I had a problem with a tooth, the dentist didn't have the proper tools so the extraction was more tedious and damaging to my gums than necessary, but the job got done. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and scheduled an appointment to take out another tooth that was an issue, figuring that they'd find the right tools to do it before I came back. I was in the chair about to get prepped when they came in to talk financing on the expensive root canal on a completely different tooth that they were planning on doing, when I said that I had scheduled the appointment to remove another problem tooth, they said that the one who pulls teeth isn't in that day. Since I was planning on having the tooth looked at eventually, I asked about the root canal, but between the fact that they couldn't do the procedure in house the same day and the fact that it was fifteen hundred after insurance because they use a specialist that isn't covered, I walked out and never went back. There's incompetence in the back, starting a procedure without proper tools, and incompetence/malicious intent up front, either failing to properly communicate what they're scheduling you for or scheduling you for the more expensive procedure first so they get paid more. Do not go to them, you might get lucky and get good service, but if you're not lucky it will suck.

I recently moved to the area and was in the market for a new Dental agency. In my search I came across Absolute Dental. The Yelp bad reviews of this place do not tell the full story. Absolute Dental -Blue Diamond, as a whole, are a well trained family atmosphere business that may not be to the taste of some stuffy folks. With that said, I enjoyed my experience of the professional and thorough breakdown of my tailored dental status and plan. Pricing was satisfactory at competitive rates. Insurance coverage verification was quick and seamless. Oral Hygienist wait time was minimal with doctors and practitioners aplenty. cleanings are thorough and facilitated with care. The staff laughs, jokes, and some patrons may not like or appreciate that from the bad reviews. I enjoy the appointment, my 10yr old son enjoyed the appointment, and we will continue with Absolute Dental - Blue Dental permanently

Horrible horrible service. They had me waiting for over an hour saying I needed to talk to the manager about something just for it to end up that the manager didn't know about it and she said with attitude that I didn't need to talk to her. Here I am again waiting to talk to the manager and it been a while once again. You can't even get threw to the lines and they always have the same excuses.

They take a long time.

Horrible horrible please, I do not recommend this place at all!!! They scheduled me for 3pm and when I got there they said my appointment was for 2pm even though they even called me a few days before to confirm for 3pm, then they wanted me to wait 3 hours as if I don’t have anything to do. Then they wanted to reschedule me for half a month later. What a horrible way to do business.

EVERYONE on staff seemed like they were in a hurry. I felt very rushed to be seen. I went for a consultation for adult braces. The medical assistant that "helped" me to get my x Ray done was of no help. She didn't even have time to make eye contact with me to make sure I understood her. Terrible place to be, the office is not very well maintained and looks and feels dirty.

The nurses and orthodontist were great. But I’ve been trying to set up next steps for Invisalign for four months and trying to get in contact with this crew is about as easy as getting a strand of Buffalo wing out of your teeth. Sooo... still waiting for my second appointment.

Dr. A, Matthew and Gale are truly amazing people. Gale held my hand throughout the painful times, Dr. A was very easy and professional with all she was doing and the kindness of everyone, including the front office staff and office manager was amazing. I know this is a long process I am in but today's visit was great. Thank you for going above and beyond what I expected and needed.

My experience with absolute dental was horrible. My appointment location was at the blue diamond and When i arrived there they told me different story and I have to go to eastern location driving 18 miles away from my area .my appointement was confirmed at the blue diamond offece I show them the text confrontation still couldn’t see me. So I had no choice I went to the Eastern location when I got there they told me to come back tomorrow morning.people you can imagine how that feels. They are very Busy they don’t know what they doing. The Manager at eastern is so disrespectful i can tell he is tired I’m really disappointed.I don’t recommend absolute dental.

Don't come here they ladys upfronts are very rude after my sister just got 4 teeth pulled they kicked her out the back door told her she had to pay $49.00 to get medication after she got out of surgery the girl Jackie is very rude

Can't transfer xray exam results from another dental office to reuse. You could have xray just taken from another dental office one day before seeing them and they will require you to do the xray again.

The wait was terrible. We had an appointment for 10:30, checked in and was asked to wait in the car due to COVID-19 restrictions which is fine. After an hour of waiting, I called from the car and waited 10min on the phone and was hung up on. Walked in and gave my concerns and they were finally ready after another 10min. After the appointment, which was only 5 min check up, I asked when my other sons appointment was going to be to confirm and to ensure I wouldn’t have to wait this long. They told me it was at 10:30 same time as my other son, which they got the days mixed up. It would have been wise that they could have said something when I checked in initially knowing they had to see 2 of my boys but I showed up with one. Complete waste of my time and very backed up

Let me tell you about Larissa! She is the best, yet very kind. I felt so very comfortable. She is very gentle and did the best job with cleaning my teeth. If I was her boss I would give her a bonus. ? She’s amazing. Keep up the good work!

Larrisa is the best dental person ever, she made my teeth so clean and made me so comfortable. This was my first time going to the dentist and so I was so scared but she made it all worth it. She was very gentle with my teeth and I think she needs a raise. ?

I went in the other day to get some x rays done an I felt uncomfortable but Larissa made me feel really comfortable getting them done.

Front desk staff Please stop telling Black people to wait outside in their car while other races can stand inside fill out their paperwork and wait to be called. I been dealing with absolute dental on blue diamond for 6 years. This office has an amazing staff Kathy, Omar, Tiffany, Man Dinh! They are like family they make my kids and I feel so comfortable. They believe in explaining things to me in kindergarten terms if need be. I love you guys keep up the good work. You deserve more than 5 stars. ❤

I had recently went for a crown prep . I walked in to a clean and welcoming front staff . Kathy is the one who signed me in .she had such a fun personality definitely broke the ice of me being nervous . Since I was super scared , especially hating the needle . I hate needles . The doctor was so nice and understanding. And the assistant was very kind . When I said I was cold she went and got me a jacket to warm up with . And the temporary the assistant looks amazing . I can only imagine what my permanent one will look like . I highly recommended this office very friendly staff warm welcoming every time I go .

Had some work done today and Absolute did a great job. From the front desk Staff, Dental Assistant and the Dentist were very knowledgeable, kind and professional. All Covid requirements are enforced and enhanced. Just the best.

By far best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. I have a fear of dentist due to prior experiences and they over exceeded my expectations. When I was checking in the girls at the front desk were smiling and really helpful. I couldn’t figure out what my insurance was and they were able to help me find all of that information. When I was taken back to start my xrays, Omar, was gentle and understanding. He made me feel really comfortable and made sure I was okay while he took the xrays. Next, Dr. Man came in, he came in smiling and he was friendly. We went over all my treatment and made sure I understood what I needed. I have NEVER had such an amazing experience with a Dentist before. They went over my insurance with me and helped me finance my treatment. Overall, I am really happy I found such an amazing team! I highly recommend this dental office to anyone

This office is amazing! Front desk Ally and Kathy are very knowledgeable and accommodated my crazy schedule, I had a cleaning with their hygienist Tiffany and she was fantastic! Probably the worst “teeth” cleaning I’ve ever had. A proper teeth cleaning takes longer 30 or so minutes this took maybe 10 Minutes. They didn’t get even get my back teeth or floss! How do you call that a teeth cleaning? Now I not only wasted money but need to seek out another office that knows how to properly take care of teeth. Save your money and time and go find a place That actually CLEANS.

I've been going to Absolute Dental on Blue Diamond and Decatur for over three years. Dr. Mann, is a great dentist. He is kind and caring. He is concerned about his patients and he's genuinely a great person. The staff is amazing. Aly, is the greatest. She calls to check how the patients are doing after their procedures. She's hands on with the patients. She is a beautiful, young lady and always ready to help you with any of your concerns. She makes sure to let you know what to expect when going in to see the dentist. She personally calls your I'm insurance company to make sure you are approved for procedure that were denied. She helped me get my dental work approved. The entire staff is friendly and the work atmosphere is great. They are like one big family. I recommend this location to any and everyone. They put two of my kids in braces the same day that was almost 3 months ago they still haven’t got their bottom braces for my daughter and the top fell off my son so he has no braces at all but they’re taking the monthly amount out of my checking account and then if you try to reschedule they don’t have an opening for two months then I found out my doctor said the only question they asked her when she Was in the back of absolute dental on blue diamond was. Do you want braces she said yes and they told me that she needed them. I got a second opinion I’m going to get my sons removed and give their office manager a piece of my mind hopefully I can find the orthodontist as well This is a scam if you are really worried about your kids orthodontics help please seek help elsewhere I had to for second opinions and the turn out is different for both of my kids my son is too young for braces and does not need them and my daughter does not need full braces.

I was given an appointment that was five weeks from the date of my initial consultation. When that date arrived, they informed me that I did not have an appointment, and that there was not even an oral surgeon scheduled at that location, on that day. I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to make an appointment to finish the work that they have contracted to do. I am dissatisfied. I have been forced to find a new dentist, and start the procedure all over again. Don't waste YOUR time. Go to a different dentist.

Wow ! Absolute dental you guys impress me each time . I was recommended to come to this location for periodontist and it was one of my best choices I've made so far . The doctor here are very honest . The staff in general are very helpful and patient . I would definitely recommend absolute dental absolutely to all my friends and family. I had my last wisdom tooth removed here. It was the best tooth extraction I have even experienced. I had my first wisdom tooth removed 10 years ago after it broke through the gum and it was such a traumatic experience I did not want to have the other one removed. The oral surgeon did a fantastic job. I didn't feel anything, he also had me stay longer to make sure that I had no excessive bleeding due to my bleeding disorder. He also made sure that I knew which location he would be at the next day in case there were any problems. I felt like Absolute Dental cares about what is best for their patients.

First let me say that I haven’t been to the dentist in about three years because I had a TERRIBLE experience that left me traumatized BUT when I gained the courage to come to this office, I was greeted with the most kindest and friendliness staff. The gentleman that works front desk (I forgot his name) was so patient with me and broke down and explained everything. In addition, Tiffany and her co-worker (forgive me- I don’t remember her name but she had a Cuban accent) were the ones that truly made my experience here remarkable. Thank you Tiffany and co-worker for putting my anxiety at ease! These two are the reason I will be coming back to the dentist.

They did a wonderful job on my dad's denture, office manager Kathy is nice & friendly, Omar helped my dad who doesn't speak good English from start to finish.

I was referred by a co worker because they did a great job on her teeth. So far mine are on the same path. Sometimes you do wait but it is worth it because Dr. does not rush through you, and he is pretty funny too.

Horrible customer service. Took 3 months to schedule an Ortho appointment for my son after making several phone calls & explaining myself to multiple people since they transfer you around. Receptionists are unable to resolve any issues for you not to mention the ortho manager Amylia needs better customer service skills. She doesn't return calls, and shows no interest in keeping her patients.

Good dental service...but horrible customer service..I was trying to resolve a bill problem for months...I pay what I supose to pay when I get the dental service..(deductible,copay etc.) Was a nightmare calling multiple representatives trying to resolve a $142 bill. My insurance cover 80%...but instead of do a professional job billing my insurance (they believed my insurance only cover 60%) They try to make me pay a balance of $142 due to a mistake they made. I have to ask my dental insurance to call this absolute dental in blue diamond to speak directly with them...when my insurance call me back he inform me that they said they made a mistake....but that was not what a person who identify himself by michael (he denied to give me his last name) told me before my insurance call them...even the phone number he gave me (michael)..when my insurance call 4 times didnt answer...so he has to call straight to the blue diamond office. U will step by tomorrow to make sure I dont owe anything ...because when I try to solve this problem a few months a go ..I was inform they will fix the problem but they didnt. So now I dont trust them.

Been here twice 30 minutes before scheduled appt and waited for and hour and 30 minutes .if im going to wait this long at least offer refreshments .waiting area is small and crowded . never coming back again
