Wonderful help for a poor town in El Salvador giving free dental care for a summer week by Dr Schwartz and his family. I'm very happy with my invisalign re-allignment of my teeth.. and a new crown!

I love this place. The front desk folks are wonderfully friendly and kind, and the technicians and dentists are amazing. I had the best cleaning of my life by Sharon (finally someone who can floss gently!) and when I was nervous about coming in for a filling, Sherrena was an absolute doll who made me feel comfortable and well cared for. And Dr. Joshua Lomke is great! Very friendly and gave me an excellent filling--no pain, fast, and super professional and caring. This will be my dentist office for as long as I live in DC!

Literally, the best. Nicest staff. Super easy to schedule and very open about treatment options. Did I say super easy to schedule? My kids find this to be enjoyable... so that's a 5-star rating from them, too.

I first want to start off by saying that I have never written a review in my life on any business but after my experience with this Dental practice I found it would be ethically wrong of me to not share my experience and warn other people. (Also read the yelp reviews as they expose this business for what it is) I was a patient of Dr. Adam Schwartz about 4 years ago, I decided to leave this practice as a patient as I thought the way they were conducting business was ethically wrong... charging for all kinds of services that were not necessary. In may of 2021 I saw a dollar amount and invoice posted on my credit report thorough a collections agency, I never received a bill from the office and I had not been a patient in over 2 years at that time. I decided to pay the bill as Melissa the billing coordinator said it was for a past service, fine I paid the bill so that it would no longer affect my credit score. Fast forward to December 12th 2021, the same exact amount was posted again to my credit report now under a different collections agency and under Adam Schwartz himself. I called BrandyWine Dental care and asked why it was reported again after being paid. I was told that this was never paid and was yelled and then hung up on again by Melissa. After being yelled at by her and her telling me multiple times this bill was never paid I contacted tek collect as I know I had paid the bill. They said yes it was paid in full and sent me proof of payment in full. I am very concerned as this dentist office is still keeping my personal information on file and they are being fraudulent to the credit agencies by sending the same bill (to which they never sent an invoice to me) to different credit agencies hoping you pay the bill multiple times. In addition, tek collect told me they have a contract with BrandyWine and that they are able to see on their end whether a bill has been paid or not. Be aware of this dentist.

Dr. Lomke is a caring, careful and excellent dentist. He gives the least painful anesthesia injections. My whole family now goes to him for pain-free dental care.

DOC ADAMS IS A FREAKIN SAVIOR! I’ve got massive dental issues and this guy is the most compassionate, creative and innovative dentist EVER! I was in massive pain from a root canal which was abscessed. I’m a musician and had a gig that night. You got me to the point where the swelling went down the pain went down and I was able to perform. I would recommend this dentist to anybody out there. He is a God among men!!!!

The dental work done here is comprehensive, and very skillful. They have an excellent system for scheduling and managing appointments. Always on time. We just moved to this area of DC and I'm very happy with this dentist.

Irena is always so great to me. She did a fabulous job with my 3 yo. He’s been 3 times but this is the first I’ve gone with him. My husband goes there too. We need to get my 1 yo son there. Dr. Schwartz is always so nice too. Even when he just sees you in the office and you don’t see him for dentist stuff.

Irene and Dr. Lomke are the best, hands down. Was super scared about a wisdom tooth removal, but Dr. Lomke provided me with the best care. Irene was so supportive, literally holding my hand while I had my tooth removed! She was so so kind and didn't have to be. I so appreciated her as well as Dr. Lomke providing me calm updates on what he was using, what was happening, and how it would feel. Definitely see these two again, they are terrific!

Brandywine is to be considered a competent facility with a growing consciousness that is rare in this era. I attempted to remove previous post. I went as far as pushing a button that said Delete and saw the window become darker. Hoping Google has it together. If Google is asleep at the switch, I will be glad to express my opinion.

I had an excellent experience at Brandywine Dental Care. It was my first visit and everyone at the office was extremely pleasant and organized. Sharon, my hygienist, did an excellent job with my cleaning and Dr. Patel was very thorough in her exam. I would highly recommend!

Absolutely terrible experience. Highly recommend no one enter this office in any capacity. After getting an appointment to fill a cavity, I was left completely alone in the room while my mouth was forced open via a tool for over 30 minutes. My jaw was in such severe pain that I needed to take off the remainder of day. After asking what happened, I was informed he was the only doctor in that day. At the end of the experience, I asked for my records to which I was asked why and if I was leaving. When I asked this both the individuals at the front desk said that I should try another doctor and that they have "other better doctors". I then received a call from the practice owner severely apologizing about this incident telling me "this was not okay and unacceptable and that he does not blame me for not returning". After this, they then started to track me down for a remaining balance of $76.20. After putting me through this experience they then charged me incorrectly and indicated they would send me to claims. The staff is unprofessionally and caused me so much pain from this incident. Save your time, save your money, save your dental health.

This is my second visit to Brandywine Dental. Like my first visit, they were very pleasant and professional. The staff is courteous, my hygienist, Sharon, is excellent, and the dentists themselves very personable. I would highly recommend them! Today was my third visit to get two crowns replaced. Dr. Lomke and Irene were phenomenal Who knew one could get numbing injections with no pain whatsoever??? This is a thing now? My previous dentist (now retired) had no idea about pain-free numbing techniques and, I must admit, I was very reluctant and hesitant when Dr. Lomke assured me that he could do that. He explained why that was the case and then he followed through just as he had promised. He’s now gained my full and absolute confidence. I have nothing but positive superlatives to describe my experience this morning. I recommend him and Brandywine without any reservations or hesitation.

I am so very pleased by the service which my family and I receive at Brandywine Dental Care. The courtesy, professionalism, and competence of every hygienist and dentist I've had the pleasure of being served by is unparalleled. I am always escorted to the patient chair within minutes following my arrival, and the professional staff makes it their business to know my dental history, explain what I may need, and give me the options which I feel I deserve to know. As if this were not enough, the equipment at the office is absolutely state-of-the-art. I am very pleased--as you may note--and recommend this office highly. Friends and family whom I have referred to Brandywine thank me, and feel the same way I do about the quality of service.

The dentist's great but front desk staff was rude. They waited until after my cleaning to tell me my insurance was not accepted. My insurance information was on the forms I sent prior to my visit. They seemed preoccupied with personal conversations and on their cell phones.

The staff was great. Very welcoming and friendly. The dentists were very nice, informative, and skilled. Dr. Patel made me feel comfortable with my treatment plan. She used modern and helpful technolgy to assess and treat me. The team provided excellent service. I will be coming here for future dental work.

I have been going to dentists for decades and decades …and in the many different places that I have lived…by far Dr Adam Schwartz is the best. There is no doubt in my mind.

EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW DR SCHWARTZ AND ALL OF BRANDYWINE DENTAL. Whether it’s for routine cleaning or a more significant procedure, every patient is greeted with a warm welcome and given the level and the type of care needed to put them at ease and keep them as comfortable as possible. Due to personal health issues, I am frequently in need of an emergency appointment that usually also requires special accommodations (such as taking numerous breaks). Dr Schwartz never hesitates to help. This is the most kind, friendly, patient and caring group of dental professionals you will ever meet.

Let me start off by saying I hate going to the dentist. I can’t help it. Some people hate clowns, some people are afraid of heights—I hate the dentist. Combine my anxiety over that with anxiety over letting someone dig in my mouth during the COVID pandemic and you can start to understand how I felt going in to the office. But I had to. I delayed appointments for over a year, was having some serious gum issues, and my normal dentist was closed. I called and was in the office within an hour. I went in and met with the Doctor, who was a kind, scientifically minded, and overall nice guy for a bit of prodding to see what was going on. The office was fairly comfortable and relaxed, not overly stuffy or fake like some dentist offices, you could see the trees from the window, and the hours were far more accessible. I liked it so much (in as much as I can ever like having my teeth looked at), I came back and got my cleaning the same day. I have a number of unresolved dental issues that I’ll be looking into over the next year that could change my mind, but I think I have a new dentist.

Brandywine has been my dental care for the past few years, and I am a happy camper! They are very professional and nice and provide excellent service. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was a new patient & had a great first visit- honestly, the best dental visit I’ve ever had. & Sharon was the best hygienist I’d ever had! Sharon, my hygienist, was incredibly gentle-handed, and nothing she did during my cleaning caused discomfort (which has never been the case before). If you have kids, I recommend this office & especially Sharon! No complaints about this place, it was a great visit. The dentist was also fabulous & recommended the perfect care plan, where other dentists have tried to pressure me to get unnecessary operations in the past. Recommend!

They are very pleasant, professional and caring and the office is very clean which is very important especially during Covid?!! They also have very flexible schedule for busy mom like me that is very important.

Brandywine Dental Care reflects the ownership that Dr. Adam Schwartz feels about the quality of care and excellence of the doctors and staff who work with him. I recommend this practice with enthusiasm, having been a patient there since they opened. Both my children are patients at Brandywine, and we all feel well taken care of, but just as importantly, taken seriously. I had such a great experience here. I love that the hours are so geared to people who work as I can always easily schedule evening appointments online or through texting as I have so much trouble with places which you can only call to schedule. The reception staff are friendly and understanding of being late and try to accommodate your appointments. The dentists are both so friendly and funny they make it easy to be distracted while getting the procedures as I’m terrified usually of the drill and in the past I have had issues with dentists not numbing enough. This was definitely not the case and the dentists provided just the right amount of numbing medication for this procedure. It was so quick as well usually I’m in the chair a lot longer with the dentist drilling and spraying water directly in my throat (which makes me unable to breathe) but they really get you in to the dentist within 2 minutes of walking in. It was also extremely helpful that they were very covid conscious and wouldn’t allow patients to enter without completing the wellness form. I really enjoyed this experience and would 100 percent recommend them to anyone who needed a dentist that was safe and extremely quick efficient and good at their job.

Adam and the whole team are so wonderful and professional, even my 10 year old son likes going there. Glad to have them in the neighborhood but even if I moved I would make the trip to see them, that's how good they are!

I have visited a lot of dentists in a lot of different countries in my life, but the Brandywine experience was absolutely incredible. From my first conversation with the charming receptionist to the competent x-rays and cleanings, to the thorough and empathic consult with the dentist, it made what’s typically a traumatic chore a rewarding experience. I had a very positive experience at Brandywine Dental Care as a first time patient in need of a cleaning. I really appreciated that the doctors took the time to explain what they saw on the x-rays in a way that was easy to understand. I was also impressed by the level of attention to detail. The doctors checked for oral cancers (something no dentist has done for me before) and put vaseline on my lips to prevent them from drying out during the cleaning. I felt well taken care of. The staff are all very welcoming as well.

Its a stellar place! The staff really make the experience warm. They are good at their job and kind to all. Would recommend these guys to anyone. PS in land of covid - they're rocking it. We felt totally comfortable. And poor staff for having to wear all that gear and double masks for 9 hrs!

I highly recommend this clinic for people with dental anxiety. I went to Brandywine Dental Care for both a routine dental cleaning and a root canal. Dr. Ivan Stangel was fantastic. He was careful, thorough, informative, and did a great job. The same was true for the dental hygienist I saw. This clinic even caught errors with another Maryland clinic's dental recommendations! That meant one less filling in my mouth and money saved. I give this clinic 100/100.

I have been going to Brandywine Dental Care for a decade and I cannot recommend this practice enough. They have always provided exceptional care for me - from the simple to complex cleaning, to cavities, to complex root canals, and implants. Over the years they have steadily improved the tools at their disposal to stay current with leading edge products as they become available. Over the years they have made sure to carefully craft and adjust my treatments. I have always been impressed with their honesty and integrity. They never just give you one course of treatment, but offer multiple options, timelines, and payment options. They have a person always dedicated to helping work with your insurance providers to ensure you have the best financial options available. While we all recognize that there are multiple options and practices in the neighborhood, I know I will never leave this practice and will recommend them to the highest degree possible. Yes there are other options, but this practice is firmly rooted in honesty, integrity, and really cares about their patients health and well being. Myself and others have come to find this practice to not only be a great provider for the entire family and serve a wide demographic in the community, but they really are part of the community. They have established themselves as an integral and caring part of our community which you really cannot manufacture with a press kit or flyer - they have earned it through their integrity, hard work, and genuine love for their patients. In fact, this practice very early on in the 2020 pandemic sent much of their spare medical equipment to serve some hard hit areas of New York to serve others. They did this not for press, but for the genuine care of others. I would say that this practice knows my mouth better than anyone. For those with complex bites, they have become masters at adjusting fillings for sensitive teeth. One key example of the care that they take is, shortly before the pandemic they decided to do a preventative diagnostic to just see the state of my mouth. They discovered a very bad and undetected abcess that if left undiscovered would have led to very bad consequences. They laid out a course of action and have honestly saved my life and repeatedly followed up to ensure that I was safe and doing better. Simply put, their honesty, their staff, and their services are just exceptional. I highly recommend them.

I was very impressed with the dental office and everyone in it at my first visit, especially given their availability on Saturdays. The hygienist was very thorough and had a great touch. The assistants were enthusiastic and cared about me and what they were doing. The dentist diagnosed a problem that had bothered me for years and had been terribly overlooked. I am thrilled to have found a dental office for my whole family in Washington DC.
