I showed up for my appointment. The door was locked and the secretary just looked at me. So... ?? Don't call it a no call no show, I called to confirm and you all still are just looking at me.

Receptionist are rude and the customer service is horrible. They give you a set appointment time but you end up waiting over an hour to be seen by the dentist.

The main receptionist is rude and has poor customer service skills. The dentist is okay. But I choose not to go because I do not like the receptionist.

I love going to the dentist! Dr. Robin makes the experience painless and relaxing. He explains everything clearly and listens to what I want (such as adding fluoride to the mix).

Excellent service. Dr. Akhlaghiry is a very experienced and honest doctor, and his staff is very caring. I highly recommend them. I called as a new patient on an emergency basis and they squeezed me right in. The toothache is finally gone and I feel very relieved.

The patient-dentist relationship was upsetting and overall frustrating. My teeth were super sensitive after a couple of cavities were filled. The doctor gave me no warning as to how severe the sensitivity would be after the the fill-ins. The pain was so unbearable that I had to go back in again to ask what was going on just a week or two afterwards. When I asked her why it was hurting so much, she then said “I told you it would be sensitive, you just have to be patient”. The doctor failed to mention this information to me the first time, yet said she had done so. She then told me one of the fill-ins fell out. Also, please be ADVISED- long wait times! The longest I had to wait to see the dentist for a schedule appointment took over an hour. During the wait, I was never updated about why It was taking so long or apologized to for their lack of staff. It was only until I mentioned that the wait was rediculous that I was apologized to and given an explanation.

They took me in for an emergency repair to a temporary crown this Saturday. They were kind and competent and I am very thankful.

Their actual hours are 10-4. How is a working person supposed to get what they need when they don't have sick leave? 8-4, 8-2, 7-1, 7-3, or 11-7 all great times for business hours that depends on people having jobs to pay their bills.

The worst place when it comes to customer service. I'm sure not everyone gives the same service, but the lady that I spoke to she was super rude. I asked to speak to one of her assistant because I have told her my case already & she basically said I shouldn't be calling for an specific person to call her personal cellphone. But the receptionists give exceptional service except for her.

If I could leave negative stars I would. I bartered construction work on Dr. Akhlaghi building here for some dental work. She was supposed to do some cavity work. I had several fillings which were old and a couple had cavity activity under the filling. She sat me in the chair and did what I thought was redoing a few fillings. I left confident that my teeth were in good shape. About two weeks later a filling she put in came out. She said come in and she would put another in. About a week after this I developed a tooth ache on one rear molar she also had worked on(the main concern I had mentioned to her). I wanted a second opinion and went to the University of Maryland dental school in Baltimore. There they said the remaining two fillings she did were temporary fillings (???!!!) I had never heard of that and why would anyone bother doing this? The molar was so bad that they had to pull it!! I have been going to another dentist who is an actual dentist, and he has been getting my teeth in the best condition they can be in. Dr. Akhlaghi didn't cause the cavities in my teeth but by being a lazy, cheap person, took advantage of me by faking that she was filling my cavities. what she did is probably criminal and certainly unethical. i would not trust her to anything more than cleaning. I happen to be a construction professional who has done dental office buildouts {convert building space into a dentist office). I am familiar with dentist equipment. I was the superintendent that built the Kool Smiles in District Heights. I would compare her office to what I would expect in Tijuana or any third world country. Her clientele was all Latino in the times I was there. I work for a local real estate company and the next door building was one I had worked on several times where I met this person. I believe she is making money off ignorant neighborhood immigrants who think they are getting American quality dental care but are actually getting taken advantage of by a person who cares only about making money and not about her patients.
