If you have to have a root canal this is the only practice to use. Dr. Menhinick explains carefully everything step of the way, which makes it much less of an ordeal. All of the staff are caring and competent.

I was diagnosed with a root canal by my dentist and they made an appointment immediately for a root canal. Just hopped on the metro and I was there in 20 minutes and they immediately showed me in and started the procedure. It could not have gone better.

Dr. Menhinick and her team were great. I was in and out in good time and she kept me informed through out the procedure.

The entire staff could not have been nicer. Dr. Menhinick explained everything she was doing during the root canal and kept checking on my comfort. The procedure was not bad at all. It was after I got home that the pain set in. The first 18 hours were pretty bad and neither the antibiotic nor the extra strength tylonel kicked in at all. I had the procedure on Wed and relief kicked in Sat afternoon. My only suggestion is that a stronger med be given for the first night.

Being served by the staff at Advanced Endodontic Associates was a delightful experience. High kudos to both Dr. Ribera and his assistant Emma. They were cordial, efficient and maintained an uplifting atmosphere throughout the entire surgical procedure. I highly recommend Advanced Endodontic Associates for anyone needing a root canal.

Michael was great, took time to talk me through the procedure and had no pain the next day! Great practice great people, only wish the had told me that I was going to be charged for the work and they would submit paperwork to my insurance company, patients should be told that and the price, some may not be able to afford the procedure.

I experienced very advanced technology, for example, very low noise equipment, and nearly imperceptible injection of local anesthesia. The combination of Dr Hetz' love of his practice and his high skill level convey a sense of confidence that helps make this invasive procedure far more tolerable. i had some complications for a day or so afterwards but Dr Hetz was great in supporting me after hours with advice and helpful information. Now, 3 days after the procedure, I feel great and have nothing but high regards for Dr Hetz, Joy - his assistant , and the friendly and helpful staff..

I am from out of town and was referred on an emergency basis. Dr. Luke Cantamessa was excellent and explained every detail. I’m in my 70’s and today’s technology properly administered is a far cry from the bloody cotton ball days of past years. I travel to DC frequently and wouldn’t go anywhere else for dental care.

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Assadipour. She is gentle, kind and efficient. I highly recommend her if you ever need a root canal.

Dr. Hetz was on time and very good about explaining what he was going to do, how long it would take, and his progress as he proceeded. Overall, it probably was as good an experience as having a root canal could be.

Excellent service. I went in for a consult and they did the procedure right away. It’s not the most fun you can have - it is a root canal - but it was as quick & convenient as can be here. Front desk staff were super efficient. Dr. Assadipour even called me later in the day to check up on me.

Had a great experience with Dr. Menhinick. She clearly explained each step of the process and was very thorough. Additionally, she was very caring and had an outstanding “bedside manner”. Having a root canal isn’t fun, but she made it the best possible experience.

I have had 7 root canals. But this root canal #8 performed by Dr. Hetz was the best root canal experience I have ever had. He explained everything to me and showed me photos and xrays. I felt no discomfort when the anesthetic wore off. I will never be apprehensive if I ever need another root canal as long as I can have it performed by Dr. Hetz.

Really great experience as I am terrified of dental work. They were compassionate, experienced, and did a great job of supporting me while actually fixing my tooth. I’ve had other work before and I feel less sore. Would definitely go again.

I'd never had a root canal so I was pretty anxious about it. Dr. Assadipour was great - she talked me through the process in advance and explained everything that was happening during the procedure. I had no discomfort during the root canal and very little in the days after. Check-in and check out is incredibly efficient. Hopefully I'll never need another root canal, but if I do, I'm coming back here!

Fantastic experience. I received prompt, thoughtful, quality care for an unexpected and painful dental issue. I would highly recommend Advanced Endodontic Associates, especially Dr. Assadipour. The office staff were wonderful to work with, as well.

The care and treatment I got today was absolutely superb. A root canal is no fun, but the one I had today was the easiest (and it was a back of the mouth tooth with 3 roots) I have ever had. The reasons why are simple, first, my endodontist was very obviously, very very experienced. Second, he and the practice in general, are very much up to date and superbly equipped with all the latest and greatest tools (electronics, 3d Computer generated images showing exactly what was being done, they all the latest and greatest. Third, my Endodontist was exceptionally communicative, he kept me informed as to exactly what he was doing. As I left my thoughts were, you cannot do a root canal any better than that. Lastly, you all should know, I hate going to the dentist and I am a dental coward and this review reflects my thoughts on my experience at their DC office today. I will never go anywhere else if I need another root canal.

Root canals aren't fun but Dr. Hetz and the team at Advanced Endodontic Associates provide amazing care. The personal attention and follow-up are better here than any other medical office (dental or otherwise) that I've experienced. You're in great hands if you need their services.
