Dr. Bogard was very friendly and had me in and out for a filling in 30 min!

Be careful before going. Was told months prior that I didn’t owe anything and insurance covered it all. Then received a call saying I owed money and nothing could be done to the amount due. Poor customer service

I've been seeing this dentist for 25 years and I've never once had a problem.

I have been customer long time. However, past couple of year I did not like their service. They told me to do panoramic x-ray besides normal x-ray and told me that my insurance will cover. However, later they billed me about $400+. I tried to call and told me that my insurance did not cover, so they will discount some. So, I end up paying all my bill. Later I had tooth issue and they told me to do root canal. Once my root canal work is done, again they told me that my insurance did not cover the bill. So, I end up paying $1200 +. They setup my appointment for cleaning 6 month later and I cancelled my appointment before due. However, they send me bill and told me that I did not showed up nor called. They end up sending my bill to collection. I had really bad customer service experience with them for past two years. I used to like my dentist but it appear that they want to charge every single thing for top $$$$ and service experience also very lousy. I am very disappointed with their customer service and dental work. Staffs are very rude and planning to talk to my dentist directly someday. I would not recommend to any of my family members nor my friends. If you want to use their service, my advice will be... Call your insurance provider prior to any services. Don't just trust them.

I have been using this place since long time. However, last two years, service was very disappointing. I did my bridge work 15 years ago and few year back small crack appear in my bridge. So, I went to see Dr. Mashado. He tried to attach or repair my bridge but did not work. He probably tried 2/3 different occasion. It lasted only week or two and crack came loose again. Finally, he told me to remove old bridge and get new one. He tried to remove my old bridge by hammering down but did not success pulling it out. He left it out same condition and asked me to follow up in 5/6 month later. After go home, it hurt so bad. I could not eat regular food for two week. They want me to do 360 degree x-ray and charge me lot. I really don't know if that was necessary. I told them to find out with my insurance first but they told me it will cover. However, later they billed me because they told me my insurance did not cover. I wish they should have gotten pre-approval from insurance company first. Later, I asked them to find out for my bridge and crown work with my insurance company and told me that they don't cover anything. I decided to call my insurance company and told me it does cover certain percentage. So, I really don't know their staff giving me correct information. They send me bill again for about $100 and I told them my insurance should pay that amount because that was for cleaning. They again told me it does not pay by my insurance. So they end up sending that bill to collection. I don't understand why they keep sending me bill which supposed to paid by my insurance company. They tend to do 360 expensive x-ray even when it is not needed. I guess they make pretty good money doing that from insurance company. If insurance company does not pay, they bill you anyway. Regular cost to do that x-ray was over $350 I believe. So, be careful before doing that x-ray, please ask your insurance company if that is covered or not. I would not use their service and not recommend to anyone. What a disappointment. By the way, after he hammered my bridge, my bridge got broken slowly and came piece by piece over the time. Now, I have only top part left. I never thought my dentist would hammer my bridge to pull it out and not able to eat for two week due to pain. One more advice to others, please don't let your dentist hammer your tooth. It is really bad idea. If they could not pull that tooth, it will make it weak. Slowly, it will crack and come out piece by piece and you have to fix it for high cost. Not to mention about pain.. 1 to 10. My pain level was 8. I could not chew at all for two week. We are not satisfied by the services here....root canal was partially treated..we had to here a couple of times, then realized to go to orthodontist. Also One of the hospital bills we owe the clinic 50 dollars...the bill was due by a few months..they have sent to collection and penalized 25 dollars...we were going through a lot of stress in our family and also out of town..so missed this 50 USD payment...The staff was totally unfriendly..No recommend.

Very competent staff. I am a patient of Dr. Tata Machado and like his personality and care a lot. When I needed a root canal, he referred me to Dr. Mark Essner, which was a terrific experience. I like the hygienists, too. The office is very pleasant and attractive.

I have had 2 different hygenists. One was a jerk (I don't need to be told every time you draw blood that I should floss more, once should be enough), but the other was very nice. They did a good job with my young son, though. If you have dental insurance, you need to be very clear with them about what is covered and when. That might be more of an issue with insurance companies changing their coverages all the time to make more money, but still something to be aware of.
