Dr. Schmidt and her staff are absolutely 5 star. They are all professional, thorough, and precise in the dental care they provide. Plus they are very “patient forward” - they really care about the patient’s experience. Highly recommend!!

Did not let me know ahead of time that for a consult on a cosmetic dentistry issue, they require full new X-rays and exam.

If you're looking for a high quality dentist to trust for the long term, look no further. Dr Schmidt is a total professional and the wonderful staff in this office makes for a warm, friendly environment. After a few bad experiences of other dentists who would make up problems to 'fix' just to charge me, this dentist is honest and focused on preventative care. I really cannot recommend them enough!

Best dentist ever!

After visiting three cosmetic dentists, I chose Dr. Andrea Schmidt to replace cosmetic bonding on my front teeth. I chose Aesthetic Dentistry of Boulder because Dr. Schmidt earned my trust and confidence in her abilities, as she explained the procedure in detail. Dr. Schmidt and her dental assistant were both professional and compassionate. I absolutely made the right decision because her cosmetic work is flawless. She worked confidently, efficiently and was meticulous as she evaluated the final results. I would highly recommend Dr. Schmidt for cosmetic work; she is excellent! The aesthetic results are perfect and she was sure to evaluate the health of my teeth. Her dental assistant is also outstanding. Also, the office staff is very kind and friendly!

These folks are the best! They really care about you and your experience. They do so much to put you at ease throughout your entire time there, and walk you through each step of what they're doing so you're never surprised about what's happening. Dr. Schmidt and the whole team make you feel like you're the most important person there. I can't recommend them enough!

For the first time ever with a dentist, I felt totally cared for and listened to... without being rushed or judged. I trusted her recommendations and advice on my wisdom teeth. When I had an injection for cavity filling - I didn’t even feel the shot and pain! She had a technique that worked. She also also fixed my bite with perfection. Allison and Nina are also fabulous and the entire dentist experience was fabulous

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Schmidt’s for over five years. I’d rather step into a boxing ring then sit in a dentist chair but Dr. Schmidt and her staff have helped me get through my fear of judgment and anxiety. Last time I saw Nina I didn’t even need the laughing gas and that’s a first for me ?. The dedication of the staff outstanding and their care and skill is top notch.

Dr. Schmidt recently bought this dental practice from Dr. Christopher Chamberlin, who was my dentist for many years. My experience with this new practice was terrible. I broke a crown and was able to get an appointment a couple days later. I expected I was getting the crown process started that day but learned that this was actually just an exam. I would not have talked 4 Advil before the appointment if I had been told I would only be there for an exam. (I have to take Advil or my jaw hurts from being open a long time). The dental assistant was examining my mouth with her mask below her nose, breathing into my mouth during a pandemic! I asked her to adjust her mask and she did, but I was surprised she wasn’t using a face shield for my protection and hers. Dr. Schmidt also did not use a face shield. I booked my next appointment. Later, I was emailed a feedback form from her office and I let them know what I experienced (above). I expressed concern about safety practices and communication issues and that I wasn’t sure if I would be coming back. No one called me to follow up on the feedback and attempt to make things right. Today, I showed up for my appointment and learned that it had been canceled. The manager said that because of my feedback, they assumed I didn’t want to come back so they took me off the books. No one ever called to tell me this. The manager denied any wrongdoing and said I should have called them if I wasn’t happy. I reminded her that THEY sent me a feedback form, I filled it out so I DID communicate my concerns. I asked why no one called to discuss this with me and she couldn’t answer me. She said I was wrong about things, and that my version was NOT how it happened. I told her I was appalled at how she was handling this, that if any of my clients ever expressed displeasure with MY work, that I would bend over backwards to make it right. The manager said, “Well, I guess you just always want to be right then, okay, then you’re right and we think you would be happier at another practice”. I’ve never been treated with such disrespect! I am stunned at the lack of professionalism at the office of Dr. Andrea Schmidt. The office manager needs some serious customer service training, starting with: NEVER tell a paying customer they are wrong. NEVER be rude and condescending. NEVER ignore reviews and write off patients so they can go “be happier elsewhere”. Do whatever it takes to repair what has been damaged and be humble enough to consider that MAYBE you made a mistake. My entire family will be taking our business elsewhere, as requested. As for my broken crown (under warranty), I guess Dr. Schmidt got away with not having to fix my crown for free and I’ll have to pay another dentist to repair it. So, I’m out another $1000+ but at least I’ll be taking my business to a practice that will treat me with respect.

I’ve been a client of Dr. Chamberlin for a number of years, and always felt like the service was exceptional. I met Dr. Schmidt recently, and liked her, and look forward to being a client of hers. I’ve had the most interaction with Nina, the hygienist (I’m currently getting my teeth cleaned every 3 months), and she’s always friendly, does a great job, and gives me tips to improve my dental habits. I consider her a friend, and look forward to seeing her (seems strange but true!). I just met this week new people in the office: Lidia, Alison, and Terry (hopefully those spellings are close). Terry did a challenging procedure on me today (challenging for me), and she checked that I was doing ok, explained what she was doing, was fast and efficient, and fun to interact with. Lidia and Alison were at the front desk, and friendly and fun to have a quick conversation with, while checking in or out. I’ve always felt respected and treated well; it’s the only dentist office where I’ve felt that way. I’ve never felt dental appointments are “fun,” but I want my mouth to be healthy; I can honestly say I look forward to the appointments, because the people are very good at what they do, and they treat you with respect and attention. Highly recommended.

I recently had a root canal done with Dr Chamberlin. Normally I would have been nervous but I knew I would be in good hands. It turned out to be a complicated procedure, taking double the time expected. But Dr C was so patient and painstaking, and never wavered from his goal of saving my tooth. He happily answered my many questions, he obviously loves what he does. My family is so thankful to have Dr C as our dentist for more than a decade. We would have no hesitation in recommending him, we think he's the best dentist in Boulder!

I have had a dentistry phobia since childhood. Between this and a childhood living internationally without great care, my teeth are needless to say - not great. This is the only practice where I have truly felt respected, and treated with dignity and care and not condescended. Dr. Chamerblin has helped me through complicated procedures with comfort and efficiency and always at a fair price. Furthermore, their operations are exceptional. I have visited their office probably a dozen times in the last 2 years and have never waited more than 5 minutes. Their hygienist is also awesome - incredibly kind, gentle and thorough. I never thought I'd write a review for a dentist office, but this team deserves it. Keep up the great work!

In the past I have had experiences with dentists that were good, but Dr. Chamberlin and his staff are EXCEPTIONAL! I HIGHLY recommend them. They provide "state of the art" dental care, with specific focus in providing their patients comfort and ease in what can be for many, a stressful situation. Definitely 5 Stars!!

9/1/17 I recently got three cavities filled with Dr. Chamberlin. It was the least uncomfortable cavity filling experience I have had - and I have had quite a few. First thing that amazed me was how painless in was when Dr. Chamberlin injected me with the numbing medication. I barely felt the shot into my gums at all. He went very slowly and I think must have used a very small gauge needle. I barely felt it. The second innovative technique was that they let me used noise blocking earphones during the procedure and I could control the Pandora station and volume. This was to block out the drilling sound - which is such a horrible sound, even if you can't feel it. So once again, I highly recommend Dr. Cahmberlin. Their innovation use of modern technology really makes for a great dental experience. 10/31/16 Today I had my teeth cleaned. It was my first cleaning at Dr. Chamberlin's office. It was the most comfortable cleaning experience I have had. The hygienist (Nina) was very careful around my sensitive areas, and used a great technique of cleaning while I closed my mouth and rested on the suction tube so my jaw could rest for a little bit. It was ingenious but so simple, and no other dentist office has ever thought of that in my experiences before. All my stains are gone and my teeth look great. They also used a very high tech. machine to confirm if I have cavities, so they don't go unnoticed or so I don't get unnecessary fillings. Dr, Chamberlin really takes the time to make sure the proper procedures are getting done, and they are done correctly. Very satisfied! 05/16 Last fall my parents came to visit me in the Bay Area and I noticed my moms teeth looked amazing. We have the same teeth issues - grinding, teeth shifting, and yellowing. She had told me she had been doing some dental work and when I saw it, I was impressed. I told her I was concerned because I was grinding through my night guards, my teeth are crowding and are getting yellow as I age -sigh... So I when I came to visit her in Boulder for my birthday she gave me an awesome present - an new night guard (but not the traditional kind - a new style that has been working so much better for me) and teeth whitening trays! Dr. Chamberlin was so patient, answered all my questions, and even had computer graphics to help me understand what was happening with my jaw when I grind. I would love to do Invisalign at his office because my mom has had such a successful experience, but since I live out of town that would be difficult. Dr. Chamberlin's staff was also very pleasant, warm and knowledgeable. It was honestly the best dental experience I have had. It is obvious that Dr. Chamberlin enjoys what he does and is very good at it!

I am extremely particular with my dentists and Dr. Chamberlin has been excellent over the years. He is very detailed orientated and relays those details to provide you with an understanding of the process. He has also been very accommodating and helpful on more than just a patient level. In addition the office manager, Val, is very polite and informative. It is nice to be able to call an office and have them know you as their patient. I have recommended him to friends that have had the same experience and would highly recommend him to anyone else.

Thanks guys! You have the most wonderful dentist in Boulder CO! Went to this dentistry haven in Folstom St to have teeth whitening and dental implants. The procedure was not painful at all and my dentist was really nice!
