Great dentist, great assistant. Everyone was nice, and the procedures were explained clearly and concisely. I just got one tooth filled 4 hours ago, and I’m eating and drinking with no issues whatsoever. Best thing is, Dr. Macbeth must have hands as steady as a professional buzz wire player. I’m afraid of needles, but I felt nothing when he injected anesthesia in my gum. Definitely recommended.

I had a meeting popped up that I had to attend. Everyone was extremely accommodating and helped me get back to work on time. Dr. Macbeth was extremely efficient and professional. Glad I found a good compassionate dentist here in Birmingham! Highly recommended.

This is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. The staff is extremely friendly, accommodating, and non-judgmental. I actually have enjoyed, (as much as one can at a dentist), my last few visits and coming from a place of extreme dental aversion, that's really saying something! I especially appreciated Dr. Macbeth calling and checking in on me after having a significant amount of dental work done. I can't imagine going anywhere else now!

I was extremely satisfied with the care and treatment that I received at Shades Creek Dental. When I walk in the door I was warmly greeted by two very nice ladies at the front desk. The Dental Assistant/Dental Hygienist, Twilla Jackson greeted me shortly after I arrived and escorted me to a room. She did the preliminary work and then Dr Macbeth arrived. He was very courteous and professional and made me feel relaxed and at ease. It was determined that I would need two tooth extractions and two bone grafts to prepare for implants. Dr Macbeth and Twilla did an awesome job and with practically no pain experienced. The entire staff was a very cohesive team and it was obvious they all liked their jobs. I will be returning to Shades Creek Dental for crowns after the implants are in place. I highly recommend Shades Creek Dental if you are searching for a dentist in the Birmingham area.

Dr.McBeth and his staff really listen and care about your concerns as a patient. I have been blown away by the amount of time and attention I have been given, allowing me to feel more comfortable with the dental care I receive and understand what my treatment plan is.

I moved to Alabama 4 years ago and have been to 3 different dentists. Third one is a charm! Shades Creek Dental has the latest technology, friendly front desk staff, knowledgeable dental hygienists, and a friendly, not judgemental doctor. I get anxiety at the dentists, but not here! The dental hygienist explained everything she was doing before she did it, carried on a great conversation, and did great patient education on my aftercare. If you are looking for a dentist, Dr. Macbeth and Staff are highly recommended.

This was my first time at this facility and I absolutely loved my experience. The hygienist was really sweet and talked to me every step of the way. I got in and out in a timely manner. No wait time. I was originally scheduled to come in on a later date but I asked them to put me on the wait list to come in sooner , and they were able to get me in the following day I made the request. New patient forms are explained thoroughly and I didn’t have to rewrite anything.

I had the best experience here. I had an emergency and they were able to take me same day. Kathy, Twyla, and Dr. Macbeth we’re the most caring, non-judgemental dental team I have ever encountered. Kathy helped me sort out my insurance and went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of and in as quick as possible! Twyla made sure I was comfortable, listened to everything I had problems with, and was so gentle given the situation. Dr. Macbeth saw me so quickly and with so much care. Everyone there was so understanding and really listened to each and everything I had to say. I will definitely be making them my regular dental care team!!!!!!

I visited Shades Creek dentist today for the first time and my experience was absolutely AMAZING!!! From the moment I walked in until the time I left was nothing short of amazing. This facility is very clean and the staff was amazing. Everyone was very nice and very attentive. The receptionist(Kathy), my dental hygienist (Lindsay) and Dr Macbeth all made me feel very comfortable. Lindsay is the best hygienist I’ve ever had. She listens to me, answered all my questions and made sure I knew everything I need to know once I went home. I absolutely love her and hope I can get her on my next visit in 2 weeks. This was hands down the MOST THOROUGH dental exam I’ve EVER had!! I was looking for a new dentist because my old one wasn’t a good fit for me anymore and I’m so glad I chose Shades Creek. Now I’m considering switching my children to this dentist as well!!!

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. Extremely nice facility- they have screens on the ceiling so you can see what they’re doing. Very thorough (checked for oral cancer masses, did X-rays for cavities and to ensure no cysts and bone recession, checked my gums for level or recession, etc.) but do not do unnecessary things that cost you, thank goodness! My husband and I went at separate times and he had an equally as great of an experience. The staff is so friendly and eased my anxiety. They walked me through what they were doing and explained it well. They also went above and beyond working with my insurance company. My teeth were cleaned so well! Could not recommend them enough!!

So, I needed an appointment as a new patient relatively quickly as a filling fell out and I needed it fixed as I’m getting ready to go out of town. Dr. McBeth accommodated me on the same day. So, from my telephone conversation to arrival at the office to checkout, the office staff was wonderful. They are all very personable, kind, efficient and professional. And the office is brand new and state of the art! Dr. McBeth took care of my problem relatively painlessly. ?. He was, as is his staff, quite personable, efficient, and professional. A really down to earth guy. He genuinely seemed to care about me as a person. That’s often difficult to find in a health care professional these days. I’ll be going back for my routine checkup in March. And plan to be with Dr. McBeth for a long time. ???

I just started going here today and had a great experience. There were so many precautions taken due to COVID and I felt extremely safe and comfortable. My hygienist, Susanne (aka Twilla) was amazing and extremely thorough. I have pretty bad dental anxiety and she made me feel relaxed and at ease (nitrous also helped). I really liked Dr. MacBeth and he was very informative about an issue I may have in the future. I felt like he really cared and took time with me. Highly recommend!

For the first time in over 30 years I had to find a new dentist when mine retired. I am so happy to have found Shades Creek Dental. Very modern equipment with the latest technology and a staff that made me feel welcome and comfortable from the very first time I called. I knew it was time for some additional work and they helped me come up with a reasonable plan and I knew up front what my costs were going to be. Even with Covid guidelines in place, communication was clear and although I couldn't actually see their smiles, I could see it in their eyes and hear it in their voices.

They go above and beyond for cleaning, and making sure you have all your X-rays if you are a first time customer. They were more thorough than any office I have been to before. A lot of measures for COVID too.
