I'm so happy my former dentist stopped accepting my dental insurance, as it forced me to find a new dentist! Sampson Dentistry is close to home and has been the perfect choice for my dental care. Dr. Sampson and his staff are very friendly, professional and accommodating - after my first appointment, a few months later I had a minor problem, and they were able to see me the next day. Dental professionals seem to be a specific personality type, and this office has seemingly attracted the best of those - everyone I've met or talked to has been extremely pleasant and friendly. The offices are very clean and tastefully decorated. I have been a patient for less than six months but feel as though I've gone there forever. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in the Bluff Park/Hoover area, especially, but I'm sure it would be worth becoming their patient even with a longer drive! UPDATE: 6 months later, another cleaning and I feel the same about Dr Sampson and his staff. It's actually hard to believe I'm still "new", since they make me feel so comfortable!

I went in for regular cleaning. I was very impressed by how careful everyone was with all the new Covid protocols. My cleaning was wonderful. I love Sampson Dentistry, they are like family to me!

Absolutely the best dentist I have been to. Great atmosphere in the office with great staff. Dr. Sampson knows his stuff and only does what is necessary and doesn’t do more than is needed unlike my previous dentists. I always felt like I went in for one thing and came out with multiple issues and charges but that has not been the case at Dr. Sampson’s office. If you are looking for a great dentist I highly recommend this office!

I am one of those people who avoids going to the dentist. All those noises that sound like they are drilling through your brain! And let's face it, the pain of the shots. But Dr. Sampson and his staff have alleviated my fears. They are so considerate and patient. I just wish I had met them sooner!

COVID-19 protocol in place it was a wonderful dental experience with a clean office and masked staff. Pain free cleaning when I have such sensitivity. Dr. Sampson is fabulous.

I cannot say enough good things! I cracked my tooth and had to have it fixed with a crown. Dr. Sampson took great care to explain things to me, he showed me what kind of crown I would be getting before we started, stopped along the way during my procedure to give me time to rest my jaw, and did a great job. He worked very quickly and once I was numb, I was out of there in no time with my new crown! I highly recommend him.

UPDATE: 3/17/21 If things weren’t amazing enough, I decided to ask Dr Sampson about straightening my teeth last year. He recommended ClearCorrect, and after 6 months my teeth are straight! I had braces as a teen but that experience took well over 2 years. 20 years later, 1/4 of the time and cost for perfection?! I’m so glad I asked and he delivered! Thank you!! Laurie has been my hygienist for over 8 years and I always feel spectacular after leaving her room. She has always had a smile in her voice and one can tell she is a happy person at work. Under the care of happy Dr Sampson for previous pearly white needs, he is a relaxed professional that tells you what’s going on using layman’s terms. His team always greets me with smiles and likes to laugh. Always a joyful experience to see them. Thank you so much!

Dr. Sampson and Laurie, my dental hygienist, are the most caring and competent dental care providers I’ve ever had. I used to be so scared to go to the dentist, but now with Laurie, I’m so comfortable I look forward to my appointments. I’ve been to several hygienists over my lifetime, and she gives the most thorough cleanings I’ve ever had. Laurie and Dr. Sampson take time to answer my questions, they don’t seem rushed during my sessions, and they easily fit me and my boys in for extra services when necessary. I have been going to them for 7 years, and now my 3 children go here as well. Dr. Sampson is very fair in his prices too, as our old pediatric dentist was much more expensive I felt he charged us extraneous fees. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

I had a wonderful experience at doctor Sampson’s office . My uncle is a dentist and he is the only person that touches my teeth but since I moved from Miami to Alabama I was unable to get any procedure done because I was uncomfortable with anyone besides my uncle . The ladies at the front desk on to the back was super friendly and willing to answer any question I had. Doctor Sampson was so cool and not in a rush at all he explained everything into detail . Since home is in Texas, we were uncertain where to send Will for help. Luckily, Dr. Sampson mentioned he is a Samford Grad in his bio. That was all this momma needed. From help in getting William scheduled between his crazy class schedule to resolving his dental emergency and even following up with this nervous momma - Sampson Dentistry did it all! William had a great apt and is already feeling better. Since this is his Freshman year, he will be a loyal patient of Sampson Dentistry for the next 4 years for certain!

A friendly mask covered face greeted me as I waited in my car shortly after I arrived for my appointment. I was asked to use the hand sanitizer upon entering the locked office. I was given a mouthwash before and after my cleaning to minimize bacteria. As usual everyone was courteous and professional. I never had to touch anything, including the door as I left. As always, I highly recommend this office as my family and I have been patients for many years.

So happy Dr. Sampson and his staff survived the COVID shutdown! After eleven months I now have clean teeth again and no cavities. The Sampson dentistry are like family.

Our family loves Sampson Dentistry. They are always running on time and my appointments are quick and efficient. We lived in another city from 2010-2014 and while there I had thousands of dollars of dental work done. My dentist told me that I needed another expensive crown and I decided to wait. I started going to Dr Sampson in 2014 and have yet to need that crown. He is as honest as they come.
