Absolutely loved our visit there @ Birmingham Orthodontists in Hoover, AL. The staff and atmosphere is wonderful. Dr. McCarthy was amazing who went far beyond my expectations. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone searching for a great orthodontist!!

I love this office! The staff is very friendly. I arrived a little before 9am and was able to have my consultation and same-day treatment within 2 hours. They exceeded my expectations, and I am so glad I chose this office to take care of me.

Amazing! From the moment we arrived they were ready for us and we were early. Dr. Pugh and her team were quick and hospitable. Their office is modern and very clean. My daughter is only 7 and they were so great with her. She said nothing hurt and she was never scared. They made her feel very comfortable and explained everything they were doing. I highly recommend.

I have a teenage son and he loves it, and so do I. Very professional and they make you feel comfortable. My son was scares of getting braces and what come with it, and he isn't anymore. Would recommend them especially if you have teens who are afraid. Smith

I got my braces and was very happy with them in the beginning I asked if they would adjust them because a tooth was still laying down in a position that I was not comfortable with they said that it was perfectly fine where it’s at so it was never moved at the end of my treatment I requested if they could fix have my midline mood over they told me that it’s perfectly fine and normal for people to have their paint line off and if I was not happy to come back in a month when I would have my retainer checked I went back just on Monday and they told me there’s nothing they can do about it that that’s where my midline will be at they did not offer me any other solution and just basically told me that’s what I have to live with they say all appointments for 15 minutes and on that particular day I actually had an appointment for 30 minutes because of me trying to get some answers about having it fixed I told them that I would pay extra if I had to get the braces put back on to have this corrected and I was turned down in the beginning I was satisfied and there at the very end I am very upset and very dissatisfied with the way that I was treated after I spent all that money and was still willing to spend more money

From the moment I walked in I knew this would be the best place ever ! Everyone was so friendly and kind my experience was the best , so glad I came here I totally recommend them . If I could give them a million stars I would !:)

What a great PLACE! I scheduled my appointment, filled out paper work, had my consult, got my braces ALL IN THE SAME DAY! Where else would that be possible? NOWHERE! Everyone was so friendly and kind. I am super excited for my new and improved smile. While waiting on my braces I noticed the color choices. (being 30 I went with all CLEAR) I decided to make a cute and fun color chart to share. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for the BEST care!

This has been an amazing experience so far. Before we started treatment I was given a detailed plan for my orthodontic treatment. I appreciate their honesty, openness , and kindness that I was greeted with by the staff. The process on getting started was seamless, and easy exactly as the treatment was explained is how it was carried out. The people are nice and very knowledgeable. This was just our consultation but it seems like a great choice for my child to get braces. The payment plans are affordable as well.

Bham Ortho did not put in my daughter’s braces or do any of her aftercare. But 3 years after they were removed she broke her appliance and I called them in a panic and they got her in within 2 days to get it fixed. They were very nice and accommodating and I’ll refer anyone that’s looking for an ortho office to them!

We had a great experience. Dr. McCarthy told me to wait another year to begin braces for my daughter and that I really didn’t need to get them. I love an honest dentist!

I'm towards the middle of my braces plan. Originally I enjoyed the customer service, they were able to get my braces on quickly and set up a affordable payment plan. I did not get to choose the plan. I've had several brackets break off after the wires were changed on them. I'm not sure if that was due to them being put on incorrectly. If they require you to have jaw surgery make sure you check with your insurance company to see if they will cover it. Otherwise you'll be stuck waiting to switch your insurance company.

I have debated forever about fixing my smile. A self conscious issue that I dealt with as a small child to an adult. After doing research, I stumbled upon Birmingham Orthodontics. After reading many reviews and seeing friends and family that have used them, I decided to go ahead and give it a try. From the initial call for setting up and appointment, to arriving at the facility… everything was a breeze. I went in for a consultation and ended up getting my braces put on the same day. Mickey (spelling?) was so friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable during the entire process… she was great!!!! Overall my rating is 5 stars. If you have been debating on getting braces…. This is your sign to do it with Birmingham Orthodontics!!
