Best dental care experience ever!

Dr. Kim and his staff are friendly, informative and very on top of things. I hadn’t gone to a dentist in years because I’d had a couple of them treat me very poorly when I was younger. Dr. Kim isn’t like that, and I can’t express enough how much I appreciate his bedside manner and attentiveness.

The best most thorough dental care I’ve ever received. Very educational, thoughtful and kind.

I went to Dr. Kim for my 1st crown and he went above and beyond to satisfy. Im very happy with the work. All the employees are very friendly. Definitely a great place to get your teeth fixed.

Dr. Kim is the best dentist I have ever had. I have had some great dentists before, and some poor dentists (like the big chain). Dr. Kim's precision is matched by a great staff. The dental assistants are always friendly and on top of their game.

Best dentistry ever.

Dr. Kim and his staff are amazing. They are very kind and compassionate. Dr. Kim has exceptional chair side manner, and was very informative from start to finish. He explained all the procedures and aftercare in great detail as well as creating a treatment plan for me moving forward. I had my wisdom teeth and some other teeth extracted. I have severe anxiety with going to the dentist and Dr. Kim made the process very comfortable and as painless as possible. I would highly recommend their office for all your dental needs. Worked here for a short period of time and by short i literally mean a few days. The turn over rate was exceptionally high people were quiting left and right within the few days i was there and coming straight out of school that made me extremely uncomfortablel. Even still i tried to stick it out but was noticing a lot of unethical things that dr. Kim himself was doing for example perio charting whatever numbers came to mind which was awful considering periodontal diseases se is serious and seriously expensive to maintain. It’s was also just day two and instead of figuring out why everyone was quitting around him, or helping me figure out what role i was playing assistant front desk sterilization.. he wanted me to bring my school work in so he could observe because he stated he wanted to open a school of his own smh like you aren’t even maintaining a good work atmosphere yet your hassling me to bring in my school curriculum so you can take that no thank you. The assistants he did have there all of two weeks were putting instruments away that were dirty, they were not being sterilized the correct way.. just a lot of bad behaviors i didn’t want to pick up on being that i just got out of school. All and all i quit i wasn’t even looking to get paid for the time spent just wanted to move on with life and chuck it up as a loss. Oh but sure enough i got a w2 in the mail with money this practice so called claimed they paid me! So of course i reached out to dr.kim who stated he would have HR contact me lol aka his rude unprofessional wife who was also a major contributor to the reason so many people have left their practice all she does is come in for a brief moment then leaves all the responsibilities to one person while they pay everyone pennies smh. She advised me i was “paid” proceeded to give me the routing and account number which the account number was incorrect, she put an emphasis on the fact that i wrote it down incorrectly, ok I’ll take that i put down the incorrect account number but riddle me this.. how does one payment successfully go through but the second payment did not with the same information? Why did i never receive a check in the mail? I sure received the w2 from the taxes they plan to file stating i was paid. She argues me telling me she tried to reach out negative my number hasn’t changed & obviously my address is valid. Advised me i need to take it up with my bank WHICH I DID who informed me no deposits were made into that account and on top of that it wasn’t even a account that takes deposits smh. Being how unprofessional they were when going into the office to pick up the remaining of the check they were only willing to pay me i will have to just take it as a loss AGAIN but All and all these people are scam artist here to try and hustle people for whatever they can. Absolutely no integrity what so ever! Would absolutely not recommend.

I was so happy when I left Dr. Kim's office. He provided excellent analysis of what I needed, and made sure I understood the procedures. His staff was absolutely wonderful! They were calm, professional, and welcoming. I can finally eat Apples again!!! Thank you!

My brother-in-law was in dire need and in so much pain. He needed to have his wisdom teeth extracted ASAP. No other dentist or urgent care would accept him because of lack of insurance and affordability. We were turned away by doctors. ASK Dental Care was our last hope. Dr. Kim understood the urgency and took us in right away. He took great care of my brother-in-law and his staff is extremely professional, kind and helpful. I don’t know what we would have done without them. This office is affordable, clean & the staff is amazing. Thank you, thank you and THANK YOU!

We saw Dr.Kim’s office advertisement from the newspaper about one single implant start to finish is $1495. I thought it was instantly appealing price compare to other offices. My mother has to get two dental implants because she’s missing two teeth. I couldn’t go with her for the consultation appointment because of work but I was kind of expecting to get a quote around $3000ish for doing two implants. However, they gave her the first quote of $4,600 VERBALLY!! No detail explanation or document. Nothing! I was going to paying for her treatment, so I asked my mom to get a estimate statement from them and send it to me. Weeks passed and no statement was sent. At that point, I was told that they couldn't send a statement. Why? And, why not call and tell her this? Honestly, they are just trying to grab patients’ attention by putting low number on their advertisement. Please be honest with your word !!

ASK Dental Care and Dr. Kim have been so kind since a become a patient a month ago. They have done great work in a really timely manner! Dr. Kim isn't heavy handed at all, and I experienced so little pain I almost fell asleep during my appointment today. I absolutely recommend this dentist. Oh, and Haley is the best!

I have been going to the Yale location for about six months, and am pleased with this practice. Dr. Kim is always up on the newest technology and is very mindful of my comfort (I am a skittish patient). His staff is very friendly and competent. Recommended.

Dr. Kim is amazing! I have never ever been one for dentists! Scared to death of them! Dr. Kim immediately put me at ease, addressed my needs and quickly helped me with the pain. Dr Mata is sadly no longer the dentist here. I had a terrible experience with the new dentist, Dr Kim. I had to make an additional appointment to see a different dentist following my cleaning with him, as he did not actually clean my teeth. I was then charged and billed for the appointment in excess of what they are allowed to bill the patient per their agreement with the insurance company. Absolutely loved Dr Mata and was so sad to see him go, this is not the practice it used to be unfortunately.

Dr. Mata has been our family dentist for at least 6 years. He has worked with my boys, improving their hygiene and maintaining their teeth. Dr. Mata's demeanor is calming and makes the most uncomfortable procedure tolerable. I have recommended him for years to coworkers and friends.

Relaxing, informative and speedy!!

Dr. Mata is the best dentist I ever had, and I am 62 years old. He is naturopathic, and that means incredible cleanings, plus incredible knowledge of what is bugging my mouth, and I have a lot of weird things happen there. LOL. He takes all major insurances, but out of pocket is a decent rate. Susan Fox
