I’ve been with this dentist for a few years, and it’s a dentist I’m always recommending. They have a really comfortable environment, and the staff is 10/10. Specifically, Jan at reception has been super helpful with me this week sorting out my new insurance information.

5 stars all the way! Dr. Cory Rush made me feel comfortable and confident from the moment I sat in his chair. I am one of those people who dreads going to the dentist, but his staff were all so friendly and helpful, they helped ease my anxiety from the start. Dr. Cory was really good at explaining all of my treatment and my shots were completely painless. I highly recommend this office, you are in great hands.

Being new to town almost two years ago I trusted my two times a year teeth cleaning to Joelle at Ahwatukee Family Dental by the way who is a dental hygienist who knows her stuff. If you need your teeth cleaned she's the best. I'm a patient that has had four other root canals in my life, none of which were hard to numb [numbed first time/didn't feel the injections(s)], never a broken file, never non-stop talking over my head, no swelling or pain of jaw/cheek, no trouble moving my lower jaw left to right, no bright purple bruise on the inside of my cheek, no pain with light tongue touching the tooth or normal swallowing, and no pressure pain from very light chewing. In the past I experienced nothing but total focus on the root canal procedure and the patient along with a call once home to check on me the next day. I recently had a fifth root canal performed by Dr. Cory Rush. When I had level 10 left jaw pain in the midst of COVID shut down I had an emergency exam with Dr. Cory Rush which turned out to be the wrong choice, but being new who was I trust in the midst of COVID shut down. I saw Dr. Cory Rush on Feb. 19th at which time he assured me things looked fine according to an X-ray of a lower left molar. Due to a government stay-at-home order during COVID I tried managing my pain with ibuprofen. My entire left jaw/cheek/ear area did feel normal so I had to do a second emergency exam on April 20 with Dr. Cory Rush who the x-rayed a different left molar identifying it as a molar that needed a root canal. Isn't it best practice for a dentist to be attentive and x-ray all the bottom left teeth to help identify the tooth with an issue and verify where the pain is coming from? At this time I had paid for two emergency exams and suffered with level 10 and above pain for two months. We were still in government stay put order due to the COVID so I trusted Dr. Cory Rush to complete a root canal on my tooth rather than try to shop around for another dentist to complete my root canal. (I had never had any dental procedures at this dental practice except for 3 routine cleanings.) Boy was trusting Dr. Cory Rush a mistake. He was unable to numb me after many many attempts so I experienced pain during the whole procedure. The entire procedure Dr. Cory Rush was distracted by the non-stop talking between his assistant Maryam about family, brother Kyle's experience with learning to complete a root canal, webinar Dr. Cory had watched that showed him how to numb like they dentists do to remove wisdom teeth, vaccines for his children, and on and on and on. This was unprofessional behavior to say the least. Dr. Cory Rush should have been totally focused on the root canal procedure and the patient. Isn't that what he was getting paid for? Dr. Cory Rush asked that I excuse his fat fingers as he proceeded to clean the canals in my tooth. He used a file between his index finger and thumb to clean the canals in my tooth. Long story short he broke the file off into my tooth at which time he stated that the root canal had gone well except for this one little thing the broken file in my tooth. Dr. Cory Rush motioned with his hands that he guarantees his work, but never explained what that meant. He tried to pass the broken file off as normal and something that happens often. Dr. Cory Rush never showed empathy or concern for me as the patient. He did not refer me out to an Endodontist. By this time (two hours in pain) I was so ready to leave so I could get home and get my tooth/jaw/cheek to calm down. I had continued with pain and no checks or concern from the Ahwatukee Family Dental/Dr. Cory Rush. I researched endodontists and I saw Dr. Kip Sterling who relieved me of pain in under an hour by retreating the root canal Dr. Cory Rush had performed with a lack of confidence, incorrectly, and unprofessionally in a long painful procedure. If you ever need a root canal avoid Dr. Cory Rush who shouldn't be doing root canals and go straight to Dr. Kip Sterling. Dr. Sterling is an expertise and calls to check on you the next day!!

I am all about customer service and comfort, especially when it comes to costly personal care and well being. Ahwatukee Family Dental from start to finish superceded all my expectations. Warm greetings from all staff upon entering with a comfortable, clean sitting area offering coffee, water and treats while you wait! During our first visit, Dr Kyle Rush taught us so much about dental care and procedures, Easy to understand, very personable.I normally get 3 quotes/consults with large purchases/services, but after our consult with Kyle, being our 2nd dental facility, and receiving an estimate, half the cost of 1st facility, we needed to search no further. We were satisfied and more than happy to go with Ahwatukee Family Dental. Since then 2 more visits and Jill, dental hygienist, is very thorough and always made sure to inquire about comfort when caring for my husband, which is of great importance especially when dealing with deep cleaning. We are looking forward to project Pete Smile 2020!

I have a lot of issues with dentists. This place changes all of them. Kind, helpful, and enthusiastic people that work here are the best people I could have asked for. They are worth the drive and definitely worth the time.

So last week I chipped a tooth and frantically started to look for an emergency dental provider. Ironically there are tons of places that advertise dental emergencies being part of their services. I can tell you that after many calls and trying to find an appointment for someone to get me in because I wasn't in complete devastating pain yet I knew it was coming and couldn't afford it based on my schedule. And then I found Ahwatukee Family Dental. From the moment I spoke to Brad on the phone to the appointment 30 minutes later and sitting in the doctor's chair they were absolutely fabulous. The work was explained clearly to me and there was no pressure to do anything other than get me back on track. For that reason alone I'll be a client of theirs moving forward for all of my dental needs for myself as well as for anybody that will listen to me tell them how great this office and set of providers really are. Affordable, clean, kind and willing to explain and guide you through the process are all hallmarks of a great team in my opinion! Give them a chance and I promise you won't be disappointed! My teeth and I are very thankful for them!

Amazing experience and a very clean & friendly place

The Rush family have been my dentists for over 20 years. I love them, they have Seen me through a lot. David Rush brought me alkaline water through 24 weeks of chemotherapy, it amazing.

The staff are very friendly & welcoming. The doctors are informative & not pushy like other offices, but very caring with options on preventive maintenance.

Dr. Kyle and team are wonderful. They are always warm, professional and the office environment is super friendly. Everyone seems to love being there anytime I visit. Dr. Kyle himself is awesome. He explains what’s going to happen before he does anything and kind of talks out what happening as he works. He’s patient and does great work. What I find more remarkable is that he doesn’t move quickly to the extreme care because it may be the fast solution. He tries to find the less invasive technique first. I’m glad I was referred this office.

I have been going to Ahwatukee Family Dental for over twenty years and have always had great service.

We drive from Payson to see Drs Rush. Our two boys needed work done, so we brought them in to see Dr. Cory and Dr. Kyle. Dr. Cory quickly completed my 6 year old's dental work without any discomfort. Dr Kyle was so gentle with my 3 year old son that he fell asleep in the chair!

I have been going to Ahwatukee Family Dental for 18 years. There is a reason I have been a patient this long...they provide excellent service and expertise and genuinely care about their clients. They feel like family.

Ahwatukee Family Dental is an outstanding group of professional, caring and dedicated individuals. Drs. Kyle and Cory Rush treat each patient with care and consideration of every patients' needs. I am new to the area and found this practice on-line. I was impressed with the reviews by patients and decided to stop in. I was going to lose my insurance due to a job lay-off and was in pain from a damaged tooth. The office staff was very kind and willing to work with me. After a review of the Dental insurance benefits I had remaining, they were able to get me in to see the Drs. that same day. I know they had to make some schedule changes and stay a bit later to accommodate me. I was so impressed with their kindness, how gentle Dr. Rush was to make the root canal as painless as possible and their willingness to work with me even though I had just walked in off the street and had no prior relationship with them. Once I am re-employed and have Dental insurance again, I will definitely return to Ahwatukee Family Dental. I HIGHLY recommend Drs. Rush and the entire staff at their office to anyone who is seeking a Dental Group that truly cares for their patients and will bend over backwards to make your experience outstanding.

I have been going to the Ahwatukee office for almost 30 years because they are fun and treat me like family. They do exceptional work. The Team is very professional and great at making sure you are comfortable throughout your visit. The office décor is very inviting and comforting, with a fun room for the kiddos while waiting, and TVs above each chair in the back. Highly recommend!

My 16 year old daughter felt pain in her lower molar. She had never been seen by Dr Rush before yet the awesome staff got her in the day after her dad called. Very friendly and efficient staff. Dr Rush fixed her up pronto! If you want a great dentist who makes you feel like family go see Dr Rush in ahawatukee.

The staff is extermly friendly and accommodating. Dr. Kyle rush is very patient, polite, and does a great job of explaining everything. The office is also very nice and has a great kids area. Their dental hygienist Jolene is also great to work with. They are awesome!

My family has been going to Ahwatukee Family Dental for over 20 years. The practice has always been professional with state-of-the-art equipment and incredible dentists, hygienists and front office staff. Dr Kyle and Dr Cory do excellent work in a super friendly atmosphere. Our son was recently in there for a few after braces fillings along the gum line and Dr Cory called afterwards to make sure my son was ok. That’s how they roll there. Oh and, you won’t be disappointed in the office itself...beautifully decorated with a room for kids to play.

Hands down the best dentist office and best dentists ever.

I studied mercury toxicity and safe amalgam removal before making my move for 3 months. I have contacted number of AZ based dentist before finding David Rush. He is not listed with iaomt but follows Huggins protocol, unlike Scottsdale based dds (who wanted $450 just for consultation), consultation with dr.Rush was free. All staff is super friendly, the facility is modern and clean and the removal went terrific, pricing was very reasonable too. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The office is beautiful and has a very nice play area for kids. Dr. Rush is very affable and I didn't feel any of the typical anxiety I deal with when visiting the dentist.

Dr. Rush keeps updating to the latest equipment, provides high quality care, does not try to push for additional services, has a excellent staff and has fair billing. Recently had a root canal and all the above were positive factors again!!

He is very patient and goes out of his way for myself and my other family members. His office is very nice up-to-date and his staff is friendly and helpful.
