The doctor is good. the people are good. the billing is horrible. EVERY SINGLE TIME i walk in this place for work, their "estimation" of how much it costs is wrong. im finally done and i pulled my family out of this office now too. im tired of getting an estimate thats 50% lower than true cost. never had this problem elsewhere. and they wont even tell you in advance. i just walked out and....oh by the way, you owe $120 more. never again.

Kat was amazing! She was extremely thorough on the cleaning and informing me of everything. Every dentist I’ve been to has never taken the time to teach me the proper way to floss and brush. Kat took the time to make sure I understand how to brush and floss properly. She was amazing and professional! Dr. Tam Le was very nice and professional. She’s extremely knowledgeable and was very thorough in helping me understand my teeth and what they are looking for. Would 110% recommend them. My first experience with Dr Le was when i had a sensitive tooth, and it was apparent I needed some attention quick. Her office was able to squeeze me in, no problem within hours. Upon arrival they understood I needed to get back to work so they took me back, got a look around, and gave me the diagnosis of the problem. Cavity, deep one, maybe a root canal. She referred me to an endotist just to be sure. I went to a few other sensors seeking a second opinion, that was a mistake. I was told I needed crowns, probably a root canal (I don’t want to hear probably from the Dr performing a procedure) and just a whole lot of confusion from other dentists. I went back to Dr Le, had my cavity filled following the endotists recommendation, and it’s been fine since. I’ve gone back to Dr Le a few times now for cavities, Cleaning’s, and just took my 7 year old daughter who had the best time someone could have at a dentists office getting work done :/. Dr Le has become our family Dentist and I would recommend her staff to anyone!

I have been coming to Ahwatukee Dentistry for a while now and I love the service I receive here. Kat and Dr. Le are amazing and so warm and friendly. They truly look out for you and give you the best oral needs care. They are great with my kids too. The ladies who run the front desk are always so nice and helpful as well. I don’t intend to ever go anywhere else for my oral care. I love that when I come here for my appointments they’re always using some of the latest technology whether it’s lasering for periodontal problems or using a special light to detect mouth cancer, it makes me feel secure and that they are always doing a very thorough job. Three years ago, I went to Ahwatukee Dentistry for a filling in a front tooth and a couple others. I also had a deep cleaning done there. When I got in the car, looking over paperwork, I noticed she’d given a referral to an oral surgeon for having all wisdom teeth pulled as well as another tooth. Being over 40 and not ever having a problem with my wisdom teeth, nor having it discussed with me, I didn’t go to the surgeon. Upon wearing off of the numbing stuff after the deep cleaning, I noticed two bottom teeth had been scraped so much there were actual holes worn in those teeth beneath the gum line. Fast forward 3 years, the holes in the gum line of those two teeth are turning black, AND my front tooth that had been filled at Ahwatukee Dentistry became cracked and loose. I went back to be told it was somehow my fault and would cost me nearly $700 out of pocket. I was told to get a night guard to keep that half of the tooth from coming out. I got a night guard the following day & after boiling it to form it to my mouth, I bit into it and it pulled that half of my front tooth out as well as the filling in the tooth next to it. I’m sure somehow it’s my fault. I didn’t bother to mention the two teeth they ruined. Now, here I sit with holes in my front teeth. I guess I’ll pay the $700 to someone else. I definitely won’t be going back to Ahwatukee Dentistry. I’ve always had crooked teeth, never had any interest in braces which I feel was her main goal. Even going in for my cracked front tooth, she was still trying to sell me on straightening my teeth.

I visited Dr. Le when I had relocated to a new neighborhood and I was trying to find a dental professional closer to my home. The cleanings and oral examination I receive were exceptional. Her staff was courteous and professional over the course of several visits. I had four amalgam fillings in my mouth and when one of them required replacement, Dr. Lee convinced me that all of them should be replaced with resin sealant. I should’ve remember the old adage “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it “, but I agreed to the procedure. Several months later, I had some serious pain in my mouth I could not localize. I visited other professionals because frankly I had my doubts about whether I was getting good advice. At one point, Dr. Le even commented that I should have all four of my wisdom teeth removed even though none of them were problematic, impacted and I’ve had them all for over 40 years. I visited a dentist and an oral surgeon who determined that the root of one of the teeth that Dr. Le had recently filled with resin was dead. I concluded that somehow bacteria was introduced into the open cavity at the time the amalgam was replaced and killed the tooth necessitating a root canal and crown that cost me several thousand dollars out of pocket. Now I can’t say definitively that there was a direct cause-and-effect relationship, but the circumstantial evidence was too compelling to ignore. I did not visit Dr. Le at any time since I had the oral pain and did not report my symptoms to her. I am sharing this story to allow people in like circumstances to make fully informed decisions.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Ahwatukee Dental and Dr. Tam Le. My first visit here, I gave my history and told them of a not so positive experience I had with another nearby dentist. Dr. Le and Kat (hygienist) addressed my concerns and made sure I felt heard. From the first moment you walk into the office, you are welcomed with good customer service. They even ask you how you like to receive information, whether you are a details person, or if you just want the big picture. And they ask for your input into your treatment. I'd never had a dentist do that before and I appreciated that they recognized that I know my body even though they're the professionals. I highly recommend Ahwatukee Dentistry for anyone who's reluctant to go to the dentist but knows they need to.

Kat is the best dental hygienist I've ever had. And I have front upper implants so I've had my share of cleanings throughout the years. She's gentle yet extremely thorough, and she doesn't miss a thing. I drive 23 miles one way from Central Scottsdale just to see her! Dr. Le is also a very talented and trustworthy dentist. She doesn't rush to perform unnecessary procedures but won't hesitate to do them--or refer patients to a specialist--when the circumstances require. The office staff is also nice and accommodating making the overall dental experience comfortable and hassle free.

If I could give it 10 stars I would. I’m new to the area and along with previous dental visit trauma , nervous was an understatement. But as soon as I walked in , I felt like family, I wasn’t just another patient. They took their time and I was not rushed nor did the staff rush themselves. Everything was explained in a way I could I understand and we came up with a treatment plan right way! It feels amazing to have a hygienist and Dr. that truly care about you and your wishes and will do everything possible to get you to the smile of your dreams. I’ve found my forever dentist!!!

From the very first visit they have been great. They made my boys and I feel comfortable being in the dentist chair. I asked for no Novocain because I would rather feel pain than numbness. There was no pain, NONE. I walked right out of there and went out to dinner.
