The staff was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They answered all my questions and concerns with no hesitation and gave me options. This dental office is definitely my go to from now on. I highly recommend coming here. Bad reviews must be from bad people who think they are entitled to something for free!

I had a great first experience at this office! The receptionists were kind and helpful when helping me set up my subsequent consultations and appts! The dental hygienist and dentist were awesome as well- the hygienist did a fantastic job; making sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I was surprised to even see the dentist- usually I only see the dentist if something is wrong, but she came in and looked over my x-rays, and helped guide me in the right direction to get a mouth guard and an Invisalign consult! Definitely recommend this Great Expressions office- everyone is great!

I cracked my tooth in the morning and they were able to fix everything same day. The dentist was very nice and professional. I love this place!!

2021 Review: At this Troy office, the new dental team under Dr. Nihan Akhtar has been providing new fresh experience. Especially thanks to hygienist Ms. Megan for her thorough cleaning service for my recent visit on Sept. 28, 2021! 2017 Review: We changed our dental to this Great Expression office about a year ago. Dr. Kang and her team are very impressive: easy to make appointment with reminding call before each service, skillful on treatments, very efficient, and also friendly. We are so pleased and happy about our decision of change to this dental office.

Today was my first time having a dental check up at this place and oh boy you shouldn't trust any of the bad reviews that are given here. I can ensure you that you will have the best experience here. All the staff members were very polite and answered all my questions I had. Meghan was my hygienist for today and she did a really great job dealing with me

This is a first class operation with all the latest equipment. A new facility and a great staff. My first visit took a little time to get going and was a little slow.

I purchased a bite guard from this location and after only two months the guard was breaking apart. They would NOT replace the guard free of charge and billed me $100 for the replacement using a harder material. The original guard was a faulty product and it should have been replaced at no cost to me but I gave in. Would not recommend them for a bite guard. Or just lesson learned, get one made using the harder material to begin with.

The services was very Profecional, I feel sabe and well take care off.

The staff is friendly, helping, nice and answers all of my questions about my teeth. They do a great job cleaning and they don’t push exray’s and other things on you just to make money!

The front desk staff and the assistant to the hygienists were friendly and caring, The hygienist was informative and pleasant. The dentist was a little off his game at first. I brought work to be completed that was started in McLean VA before I moved away. He left for a short time, and came back with a smile and encouragement that the work could be completed. My entire visit was a success eventually. Nice kind and patient care for a new patient, that would be me.

It took a long time to get an appointment in our current environment, and it’s expensive. But that said, I liked the dentist and hygienist and they did a very good job.

Love the staff, I have been doing my Invisalign with them and always answer any questions I have. Happy so far with the results.

To many mystery bills. To much out of pocket to pay. What good is insurance?

My previous hygienist Angela did not come back from maternity. I was sceptical about a new hygienist… Nadine is very good and would recommend her to my family and friends. Great job Nadine!

I was referred from Great Expressions on Rochester Road, Troy, MI to their speciality centre in Bloomfield hills because tooth #19 needed the attention of a periodontist. When I checked in I was told, I was there for a consultation. Nevertheless, a panoramic tooth x ray was taken. What baffles me is that the referral had no mention of the tooth #19 that needed periodontal attention but that #20 needed an implant. While the doc looked at #19 to tell me it is not in a state that needs treatment and that the referral contained no mention of it. So this wasteful visit of mine was only so they could charge the insurance company? The doc & staff were nice and friendly but I felt like I was tricked. The Rochester Hills Office owes me an explanation.

The Dentists at this location rotate every few years. Receiving such disjointed care from different Dentists makes me eager to find another Dental Practice. My most recent visit didn't go well. The Dentist never introduced himself, never acknowledged the patient, never explained what he was doing, never examined the patient's mouth, he just looked at the X-rays and told the hygienist, "Oh yeah this is all screwed up and we need to do a filling and blah blah blah." The Hygienist, who was very friendly had to translate for the Dentist. I've never encountered this before. Does the Dentist not talk to the patients he treats? The Hygienist was great, she spent 20-30 minutes with me, and the Dentists at this location routinely will spend less than 5 minutes with the patient. The receptionist was rude too. She made no eye contact, stared at the computer the entire time, and makes inane medical recommendations. She makes statements such as, "The infection will spread if you refuse to do the procedure." Hilarious, I didn't know the receptionists went to Dental school. Employees at this location would benefit from rudimentary customer service training if they'd like to retain their customers.

Horrible service, hours of business are not convenient for patients. Very small office, you have to sit three feet from the person next to you as your getting work done.

This office has a very professional staff and super clean dental exam areas. The nice lady that cleaned my teeth was very careful and thorough during the process. .

I came to Great Expressions, Troy for the first time on 4/23/19 and I am very pleased; to say the least. The Front Desk Staff were very professional, friendly and engaging. They made me feel comfortable and valued. This feeling continued, as I met additional Staff, including the Dentist-Dr. Rami Shahrouri and the Dental Assistant-Farah; who both showed genuine concern for my overall health. This is the first time I experienced this at the Dentist. Great Expressions, Troy Staff really care about your dental, physical and emotional health! They confirmed the source of my headaches, dizziness, nausea, neck pain and blurred vision; which is because I grind/clench my teeth. After 5 years of suffering, receiving a MRI and CT Scan from Doctors (which revealed nothing); I finally know why I was suffering. I ordered a teeth guard and I'm looking forward to receiving it. I'm a very satisfied Customer of Great Expressions, Troy and I would definitely recommend this location to everyone because they really do care!! Thank you for helping me get my life back!!!

Great Expressions is great! Everyone is wonderful, even when I have two little kids with me.

Response of front desk is poor. Hard to get hold of them. They hardly return my calls. 2 out of 5 times they have cancelled my appointments taken months ahead of time. Once while I was driving to their office, just minutes from the appointment saying their equipment was broke. Once 3 days before the day of appointment, because their staff scheduling got changed. If I had the choice of another facility near by me, would take it in a heartbeat.

I have had excellent experiences at Great expression dental centers for several years. I loved my Dearborn office and my new Troy office was equally as outstanding. The staff has always been nice, the offices are clean and the dentists seem to be up on the latest dental techniques and info. Try them out if you are in search of a new dentist.

Staff is very pleasant. No pressure to upcharge for extra services. Plans are typed out with most important services to be done first.

Every time, I visit them, they would say always, u need to do root canal and cap. I will share my experience. I had teeth filling 18 years back in India. There is no issue with this teeth. Since these guys recommended to teeth filling and cap again. I just accepted the teeth filling. With in 2 months, I got the pain for that teeth. They are always money minded including dentists and reception guys. And they recommended to remove the wisdom teeth both sides even there is no issues. They said it is difficult to clean, they want to remove the teeth. So, I accepted and they put the crowns also. With in one year, right side crown is broken when I was eating my breakfast 'corn flakes'. so, Do not believe these guys.

Angela, the hygienist, always does wonderful job. She makes sure I am comfortable and gives me tips for better brushing my teeth. When I saw the dentist, he thoroughly explained my issues and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this location!

First time appointment. The dental hygienist was very sweet and thorough. Other than that I wasn’t too impressed. I also question the billing practices of them. I’ve never been given at the start of the appointment what the bill will look like and they did that today. They billed for things I’ve never had done before or have been billed for before. Will pay attention to the EOB from the dental insurance. I only saw the dentist himself for 10 seconds. I usually don’t like going to the dentist and think they are constantly ripping people off. This place didn’t change my mind.

Amanda was very gentle and compassionate about my concerns. Both girls at the desk were very friendly outgoing and helpful. And the dentist was very informative and very friendly. I’ve already referred my sister to great expressions.

Scammer practices, adding fees for procedures that are supposed to be covered 100% by insurance. Take a look at some of these reviews with four stars - the text on many are cut and pasted from earlier reviews with different names, apparently to water-down the number of bad reviews.

Beware of the bill, they actually scammer!! My dental insurance cover 100% for cleaning but they actually told me not. They did charge me for copay and when I check the billing from my dental insurance, it shown it covered 100%. Please do not come back here.
