Children's Dental Specialists

My 11 year old son has been waiting months for them to schedule extensive procedures on his teeth that must be done at the hospital.. While I know there is a wait he is in severe pain and they can't even give us a eta for the procedure that he must be sedateded for ... This is so unfair to my child that is hurting With no communication or even answers from this office

WORST customer service ever. I wish I could give a ZeRO star. Unprofessional and so rude . I will never come here anymore ?????

This office seems to be an unorganized mess, my experience was not good and we will not be returning. Our appointments were for 3:30 and 4:00, I called to let them know that we were there at 3:15 so I could complete new patient paper work for my three children before hand and after being on hold for eight minutes, I hung up and called back again! They put me on hold again, so I waited and they eventually came back and said someone would call me in just a few minutes to come in to the appt. 4:00 rolls around and I call back, on hold for several minutes, and eventually ask about how much longer… they said just a couple minutes! Finally about 4:12 they call us back. We have now missed both appointment times for all three children. Once we were in there, the staff was all very nice although everything seemed very unorganized, and I had to fill out paper work for all three kids while bouncing between three rooms making sure my kids were cooperating because they were very nervous about coming to a new dentist. We came here because our insurance says this one is in network, but we will be going back to their old dentist and paying out of pocket!

I'm 13, idk why my mom took my here but anyway, they did pretty well, I just wished they gave me breaks in-between each tooth that they did cause I had my jaw open for half an hour and afterwards, I had pain opening my jaw. They did the teeth in my right side very well but my left side is where it's uncomfortable. It feels very uneven and I don't think they did much to shape the filling because it feels smooth, unlike nature grooves of a tooth. They could've put in more effort to shape it because it feels so uncomfortable. I'm disappointed because I called the next day to tell them it feels uncomfortable but they said that they didn't mess up and 'that's just how it's supposed to be.' Huh??? I can tell they're uneven because THEY DID BOTH SIDES OF MY MOUTH AND MY RIGHT SIDE IS COMFORTABLE WHILE MY LEFT SIDE ISN'T!

Very expensive compare to others Dental providers. Dentist was excellent and she was able to provide alternatives for treatment. Staff seems not have much experience and front desk personal was rude when I asked why they are more expensive than others.

I took my son and daughter for the first time in January of 2020. I was hoping this would be there new dentist for long term care. The office is clean and the staff is nice however I don’t think I will be coming back, which is disappointing. My son was scheduled for a follow up visit due to a very deep cavity and several silver caps. Shortly, after my son’s visit, he began complaining of pain due to the cavity, so we requested an emergency visit. I was grateful that they accommodated him however his after care was less than desirable. My son was very quite during the procedure even though it was painful at times but when he got in the car, he was screaming in pain. I was at home and my husband was trying to calm him down on the ride home. I believe my son was reacting to the novocaine wearing off and the experience of numbness which was new to him. I called the office and asked if the discomfort and the pain he was feeling was normal and asked if they provided paperwork on care and pain management after an extraction and silver cap. To my surprise, I was told they do not give paperwork on self care after a dental procedure. I just googled the information myself and went to there old dentist website to get the information needed to manage my sons aftercare. After my son’s visit, I never received a follow up call, schedule of next visit, reminder for annual visits even after offices started taking patients again due to the pandemic. The office performed the procedure, took our insurance and that was the end of it, never heard from them again. Maybe they’re too busy but I will take my kids to a dentist office that shows a little more concern for there patients dental needs.

Wait time was a bit long for a toddler, but the staff made my child so calm and comfortable during a very scary procedure. Dentist answered all my questions thoroughly and made me comfortable with the procedure as well.

Ridiculously charges and payments process. Please keep away from this clinic Doctors are good, but .. There are charging me 50% of total even my insurance was 80-20%. Also asked to pay on spot. After 2 months they didnt give my 30% money. It is wasting of your time and money

My son has had cleanings done here as well as a silver cap and other fillings. Never once did we have a bad experience. It’s always been amazing. Clean building, very appealing to children. The staff is all amazing. Especially the woman we saw today who was beyond beyond beyond AMAZING with talking to my son and making him so happy. We love this office and I refuse to go elsewhere! The care is professional and very caring toward children.

So the wait was almost an hour and had to call twice just to get them to get my daughter in, it was annoying. But once we were in everyone was amazing and super nice. Only other thing is during my daughter procedure the doctor nicked her front tooth with the drill and didn’t even tell me about it, so now I get to call and get that figured out Monday. Other then that everyone was super nice and worked with us. And was very nice to my child!

Your appointment time means nothing. My child had an appt at 1pm. I called at 12:55 and was on hold and waiting until 1:30pm. The time before this we waited over an hour to get into the building. The hygienist kept insisting that my child would cry or feel pain during the procedure. She said it multiple times in front of my child, getting them nervous before being seen. The dentists are both amazing but the entire office staff and some hygienists are rude, incompetent and don't care about your time. We will be traveling to any future appointments to stay away from here.

My 7 y/o fell off her bike and chipped her tooth over the weekend. My husband talked to the Dr. while I was at the ER and they saw her first thing mon am. They were all kind and patient with her during it all :)

I went to three different dental offices before finding Dr. Iffe and deciding to move forward with a procedure for my two year old. She and her staff are very knowledgeable, professional, and caring. Dr. Iffe has wonderful bedside manners. She took the time to educate me on the options, answered my questions and made me feel at ease about my choice. I highly recommend her office if you're looking for a place that leaves you feeling your child is truly cared about and in good hands. Thank you, Dr. Iffe & Staff!

My first interaction with the clinic was this past Wednesday when I scheduled my sons appointment. I explained the dental issues he was experiencing and the person scheduling the appointment was able to fit him in today, Friday morning. She was extremely helpful and very thorough. When we arrived for the appointment Covid restrictions made it difficult for both my husband and me to be in the room with our son at the same time. The staff was very accommodating allowing us to alternate being with him. The dental assistant who took the x-rays was very professional and super patient with my son who was squirming and uncooperative at times. He went out of his way to explain the importance of getting the films and finishing quickly. There was some confusion about the exact treatment plan due to the parent-shuffle, which was not a fault of the clinic of the staff. Dr. Ife patiently explained the treatment plan twice, once to my husband and again to me. Once the billing was explained and the consent forms signed the procedure took less than 30 minutes. My son’s treatment involved the use of lasers and because of that neither one of us could be with him. When I was allowed to be with him, he was understandably upset and a little disorient from the nitrous but I could see how patient and gentle the staff had been with him and his care. I am extremely grateful that I found this dental practice and highly recommend to anyone with small children who have dental phobia or toddlers who need early care! The staff is excellent with children. I have had previous experience with a pediatric clinic that claimed to be “experts” with children who have disabilities or ADHD that have caused my son (who has no current issues) severe trauma as a toddler. I only wish we had taken him here first.

They do an amazing job with the kids and because my boys teeth hurt n they wouldn't eat they got them in after their teeth cleaning same day to fix their teeth for them. They are amazing with the kids too. Dr. Ife is awesome and the staff is all out great with everyone. The hygienist Debbie was a great hit with my 3 year old!! Love this place my kids will be here until they are too old then they gotta go to big people dentist ?

I brought my 15 year old son here expecting a horrible experience because I haven't been here before. To be honest, this is probably the best children's dental clinic in the area. Dr. Aljuneidi was very helpful and took her time evaluating my son's teeth. Thank you for everything that you do!

The best place ever to take the Kids dentist they so nice and patient and friendly with everyone and Especially children my kids love it there My son drove him crazy about goin to a dentist he refused to see Dentist then I took him here he loved it and fixed all his teeth then now I been taking both of my children there they do an amazing job my toddler did her tooth all at once am so grateful instead of goin and coming back I recommend for you guys to take your kids their number one Dentist for kids love it We love this Dental Office. Absolutely amazing! My daughters first time there was absolutely amazing. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and caring. Great with the kids! Better experience than I had expect! Very quick and good Social distancing precautions.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR TODDLERS HERE!!!! I had the worst experience and I’ll be looking to see who I can contact to report this facility. My almost 3 year old had two cavity’s and we went in for the procedure where they told my husband that he would be gassed and wrapped in a blanket. We waited 40 min before we got in. I take my son back and there are 4 people in a tiny room. They ask my to lay him down on a baby board in which they strap his hands down and then strap his whole body down (this is what was referred to as a “blanket” to my husband. My son is screaming for me to get him out. They throw the gas over his nose and IMMEDIATELY start putting tools in his mouth. They don’t give him a chance to even inhale the gas. They then asked me to step out to which I refused. I started asking why they aren’t giving him a second to inhale the gas and to stop putting tools in his mouth and let him calm down first. They all insisted that this is normal and that children his age scream cry the entire time. I then asked why they even give them gas and they just kept saying well he’s crying so he’s not inhaling it. Well ya he’s crying!!...they didn’t even give him a chance to inhale anything!! The doctor then told me I don’t know who you talked to but the gas does not make a child not scream or cry. I said then he’s not doing this and made him unstrap him and walked out. As they were unstrapping the doctor said that there was no need for me to be rude and she is trying to help... My child screaming and crying in a restraint while you give him a shot and work on his teeth is NOT helping me. That is NOT normal procedure and when I called another place to ask them what they do, they told me they let him inhale for 10 min and use nothing to hold them down. Please. Save your child and your self the traumatic experience and go somewhere else.

had a 15 min wait and no one called upon. It was crowdy, noisy on my visit and receptionist told me to wait in the car since there is some work going on while they are expanding. Apart from that, Good work by the nurse, doctor they examined well.

My daughter loves this dentist ?? they are gentle, caring, an d very patient with little ones if they're uneasy about the dentist.

This place was amazing from the phone call to the check out. My nephew had a traumatic experience with a previous dentist causing him to not want to go to any dentist. You wouldn't have been able to tell if you didn't know when he got his cleaning and then his cavities done. The staff is amazing. They took the time needed to make my nephew feel comfortable and explain what they were going to do. I highly recommend this office as a whole.

Excellent service and very welcoming staff. I really like the reminder call for appointments. My kids like going there , they feel comfortable. Office is very clean and the waiting room sitting is so cool and colorful . Dentists and assistants are experts in their job.

My children were terrified of the dentist. We switched here last year, we've had nothing but positive experiences. I love the staff, and how amazing they did with calming my little ones down, and showing them that the dentist doesn't have to be a scary place.

We have a very pleasant experience with Dr . Ife and her staff for years. My son was very anxious about the appointment and any procedure, but Dr Ife was very patient with him and spent a lot of time trying to calm him down. The staff was helpful and kind and always available to help. Dr Ife is very professional ,she takes the time to explain whats needs to be done and provides valuable advice for life. Its not easy to find a good dentist for your kids, I highly recommend Dr Ife and her staff for kids. When you find the best you keep it, and I have found it. Kudos for Dr Ife and all the staff. My two sons Cam 11 & Izzy 4 have been seen here since they were 8 & 1. I absolutely love the staff and so do my boys. They’re always comforting and ensuring the boys are at ease when getting their teeth checked out. In addition to that I’m always able to stay on track with scheduling their 6 month cleanings and check ups which is a super plus because I’ve visited other dental facilities that have overbooked scheduling. We also never have to wait long to be seen. We’re usually called right back. The longest I’ve had to wait is 10 minutes and that was maybe twice. I love this place!

I love the people at Children’s Dental Specialist. My children act up when I go back with them. They are allowed to go back without me and it makes for a more pleasant visit.

Dr Ife is one of the BEST dentists I have EVER met. She is kind, caring and compassionate. She personalizes EVERY visit. My kids love her and love seeing her! Her other Drs on staff are also wonderfully pleasant and very professional. My kids have always had a pediatric dentist. I stumbled upon Dr Ife when I was referred to her office by our previous pediatric dental office, and we NEVER looked back! Go see her, you won't regret it!

I took my daughter here for her first ever dentist appointment and it was the worst experience we could have had. The first red flag was in the new patient paperwork when I came across a page stating that if your child is not able to cooperate they need to be able to sedate them to complete the cleaning - how is a dentist office specialized in children unable to complete a cleaning without using sedation!? The doctor and an assistant started off my daughters appointment by taking xrays. I am pregnant so I was unable to be in the room, which of course made my 5 year old at her first dentist appointment extremely uncomfortable. I was told I could wait right outside the door. The doctor told my daughter to keep her mouth open wide, when they got to the sides of her mouth so was uncomfortable and expressed that. The doctors response was “I told you I keep your mouth open or it would be uncomfortable”. The assistant kept telling her she was too old to be crying. When my daughter did not stop crying the doctor told her they could either finish now or they would finish later but either way my daughter could not leave until these were complete. So an assistant and a doctor couldn’t soothe her as she was uncomfortable and then proceeded to tell her she would HAVE to stay!? I told my daughter if she couldn’t complete it we did NOT have to stay and the doctor could not make her. I was TRYING to make a pleasant experience for my daughter at her first appointment. The hygienist was the only one who seemed to care at all. I wish I knew her name, she calmed my daughter down and did a great job cleaning. The doctor came back in and said that 3 out of the 6 xrays were blurry so my daughter needed to redo them. The only reason I chose to go through that again was because they were unable to tell if my daughter had cavities. They did the 3 xrays and it was confirmed my daughter needed fillings. Another doctor came in and told me that they would use laughing gas and MAY need to use a papoose if my daughter began to swing or kick. We got to the room where the fillings would be completed and there were 4 people in the room. One of the assistants told me I could take a seat, in front of my daughter to calm her so she would be reassured that her mom was there. Right after that another lady told me because I am pregnant I could not be in the room. So I told my daughter I would be right behind her outside the door. Then another lady told me because they would be using nitrogen and that carries so I would need to wait in the lobby. At this point two assistants are picking my daughter up and strapping her in the papoose that I was told that MAY need to use. As they are doing this they told my daughter “tell mommy buh bye” and I’m being escorted to the lobby. The doctor told me that she would come out a few times to update me. The doctor came out one time, told me they were halfway done and that my daughter was “chilling but giving them a stink eye”. When the procedure was over a different doctor came out and when I asked how my daughter did she told me “why she cried and asked for you” SO WHY WAS I JUST TOLD SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM ANOTHER DOCTOR!?!? When I got back to the room my daughter was sitting up, clearly had been bawling her eyes out and some lady was in there just cleaning, not even paying attention to her. My daughter was completely traumatized and this was beyond an awful experience. There was no sympathy, empathy or ability to work with children AT A CHILDRENS DENTIST OFFICE

I really hope ALL the parents read my review before taking their kids to children dental. It will save you alot of pain, seeing your child treated miserably - not on one occasion but twice. So it's every parent nightmare to take their young ones to the dentist, even us as adults cringe on the thought of going to get our teeth cleaned or cavity removed. So just imagine, how scared the kids would be to go to the dentist for their checkup. Yesterday, when I took my daughter there, I was told that she has cavity and needs crown on her moral, and root canal on the second tooth - as a parent, off course we had questions and concerns. My husband wanted to talk to the doctor - Dr. Kamil , so that he can provide him the details of the procedure that will happen on my daughter. That doctor, took our request on his ego. He said: you don't think I am capable of performing this, I have done this procedure numerous times, you are judging my credentials. We tried to calm him down, and said that we are just doing our job as mom & dad, there's no reason for you to feel offended. We know you are qualified for this job, but this is our daughter's first time, and she's scared. We are just asking you to explain the procedure to us, that's all. Dr kamil was getting annoyed second by second by my daughter, he was NOT making her feel comfortable - he just cared about doing the job, not about my daughter - who was completely frightened. Dr.kamil told me that I'm already putting up with your daughter, now I have to put up with you too. I am done doing this, you can go to another Doctor and he left. I felt so disrespected, so humiliated, and so bad for my daughter who was left in the middle of her procedure - she had to go through all the pain & torture for nothing. Dr kamil doesn't deserve to be part of the children dental family, after what he did to us - I really want the owner to take some actions against him.

Did not have a good experience at this dentist office. Both of my children are having issues after receiving their treatments and I’m kind of skeptical of going back.

I took both my girls, ages 2 and 5 today. They are so wonderful with kids. They took us within 10 minutes of our appointment time. I love that they are respectful of the clock. The hygienist Diane was so great with both girls, especially my 2-year old, who was visiting for the first time. I also really like the doctor. He made the exam fun for my 5-year old. She fears losing her first tooth, and he got her to relax. Highly recommended. Thank you!

I am beyond impressed with the team at this place. My brother has a severe cognitive impairment and expresses many behaviors (pulling, thrusting body, resisting, hitting, etc.) Our family has been fearful of bringing him to the dentist, as many places are not accommodating to his needs. This team of specialist made us and him feel welcome, despite his behaviors. Yes, they did have to compress his body down in a vest but they did so as gently as they could without being aggressive back. All I kept thinking the whole time was how amazing they were and how they turned the “tragedy” my brother expressed into a fun, song singing, and motivating environment. I know they worked hard to do the best cleaning and x-rays they could, and i can’t thank them enough! We know he is tough when it comes to doctors, dentist, ect. but this experience gives me hope that there are really great professionals out there willing to accommodate to those with complex needs. Today my 3 years old had an appointment for cleaning, and I was ready for screaming and crying BUT Ms. Debbie was a life saver. My daughter had so much fun and let Ms. Debbie cleaned and polished her teeth asking a question... I am so happy with this place!

I sent our son there after he has seen other dentists and none of them was able to get the job done. Kids feel comfortable there and there are lot of kids going to this place. I recommend this place. they are kids friendly and have experiences in working with kids

They are amazing!!! So wonderful with kids and super awesome facilities with everything geared towards children!! I will always go to them and you would be crazy to not take your child here too? Once you experience them you will never go anywhere else!!

My daughter Nova had the best experience here! She had a tooth pulled and a crown put on, and the dentist was fantastic. She was very nervous, but he helped to keep her calm. I couldn’t believe how quickly he was able to get her sore tooth out once she was numbed. She got to watch her favourite show on Netflix the whole time they worked, and she was happy to get a popsicle at the end! We definitely intend to come back!

I recently had a dental emergency with my daughter that required me to get a appointment ASAP. When i first called to schedule the appointment they were very calm , nice and professional. I did not know what to expect when i first walked in, but the staff and office exceed my expectations. The office is bright, clean and entertaining for the children. The staff was very welcoming and great with my daughter and I. I have found my daughters new dentist home! <3

Took my daughter for a check up, these vultures are all about money..they wanted to pull her baby teeth out immediately..I said no way..the main doctor ..doctor Nigeria or whatever her name.. got upset with me.. stay away!

Today I took my child to a different dentist and discover what Shysters these people are. I found out that they used her one and only time to get her teeth sealed on her baby teeth and now I am going to have to pay to get her adult teeth done. They put in 2 spacers and a crown all of which fell out these people are looking for one thing. Money DO NOT take your child here

I Have two kids ( 4 and 2) and they love go to dentist there. Everyone is always really nice with them and have so many distractions that makes everything easy for the kids. Highly recommend.

This is truly an amazing children's dentist. The doctors are amazing and very friendly, so are the dental assistant and hygienist. My middle child use too be deathly afraid of the dentist. They where so good that, she did not throw a fit nor start balling her eyes out, and her anxiety was good. The last time she went before this one she wasn't able to get her teeth cleaned bc of her anxiety. This time around she got her teeth cleaned and a filling with NO out bursts. They truly are an amazing dental office, I now take all 3 of my children to them and any friends with children I refer them to them.. The office is so kid friendly. They have a huge iPad in the waiting room for the children to play with, Netflix in the rooms for the kids too, prize box after. It truly helps the kids prepare with anxiety, not so over whelming.
