I am so insanely disappointed with this office. As I college student I went in and sat for two hours while they looked at my insurance to determine if it would cover my extraction (if not I was not going to get it and I was going to look into other options). After waiting for two hours they came back into the room and said the insurance covered everything and so we proceeded to do it that day. Ever since I’ve been billed in the mail for nearly 600 dollars and when I call and tell them they told me it was covered by insurance they just say it’s my responsibility to know what is and isn’t covered. This has been going on for a year with not even an apology from the office for misleading me.

Worse dentist in Atlanta. They lied about treatment schedule and billing charges change on every visit. Another Dentist said he doesn't know what he's doing and must be reported to the Georgia medical board, which was done. Stay away from this dentist, he takes all your money and don't complete the services he promised. Don't spend 10k like my friend than discover from another dentist he needs more training. He is giving his patients a discount on his services for 5-star review. I'm warning you ATL find another dentist.

Its unfortunate that when a service is rendered and a patient OVER pays but has to constantly haggle about YOUR refund for months at a time to deaf ears. This practice is only as good as its weakest link. I'm not sure where the book keeping problem lies but I'm encouraged that there are OTHER Dentists practicing!!!

I can't sing enough praises of Dr. Jeffrey Wakefield. This man has a gift, super knowledgeable and talented. I've had 2 oral surgeries in 2 months with him and both experiences have been phenomenal. Today was my first time ever being put to sleep for a procedure and I was a bit nervous at first but the staff did a great job of explaining everything and answering any questions. The staff is very friendly, and while professional, they can still cut and take jokes! Lol. Dr. Wakefield is a joker himself. The office is always clean and organized. You have free bottled water and a machine that grounds coffee beans for multiple coffee options in the lobby. I highly recommend this place.

Dr. Wakefield's practice is a first-rate, excellent, nonpareil one, and the same applies to Dr. Wakefield and his staff. The entire setting, from the waiting room through the various exam spaces, is calming and peaceful. There are no loud TVs in the ceiling above the exam chairs. Some chairs face large windows through which blinds-filtered light passes. Dr. Wakefield recently removed the wisdom teeth, two of which were problematic, of one of my kids, and it's impossible to imagine how it could have been done better. The number one concern of everyone in the practice is safety. There's a lot of emphasis on this. And there's a lot of attention paid to planning, with everyone efficiently and professionally (and ultra-competently) doing his or her part during the actual operation. There is good follow-up by the practice. Finally, I believe this operation for my daughter was done at a reasonable cost. I strongly recommend this practice, from cleanings and general dentistry to oral surgery. I'm adding to my review today, December 17, 2019, simply to say that I took my other daughter to Dr. Wakefield last week for the removal of her wisdom teeth. Perfect, successful, efficient operation, with the same emphasis on safety that was in place when the first daughter had her wisdom teeth out in June 2019. Very pleased with the work of Dr. Wakefield and his staff.

The Best service is Georgia!!! Dr.wakefield an his staff were wonderful!! I was so nervous because I had to get 2 wisdom tooth an 2 really bad cavities pulled all at the same time lol.this was a first for me but Dr.Wakefield promised me that he would take very good care of me.He promise me no pain an that it would be over before I knew it.An surenuf he lived up to his promise.all I remembered was me sitting on the table talking to the staff then waking up with Dr.wakefield asking me some questions then I ask are we getting started an they laughed an said we are finish. I said "what". I couldn't believe how fast it went by.is like it all happened in a matter of minutes. I was still high when I left the doctors office but whn I got home an got some rest I woke up like nothing had happen.there was no pain at all.no swelling no nothing.Dr.Wakefield gave me the next 2 days off work but honestly I could have went back the very next day. I find dental procedures very painful and visiting a dentist is nothing short of a nightmare for me. But, this dentist is different. He not only made sure the procedure was painless but also explained the procedure in detail before it so that I knew what to expect. My tooth healed very well after the procedure. All thanks to Dr Freddy and his team. He will be my preferred Dentist for all future procedures.

My experience with the staff, doctors, and hygienist at AOS was excellent! Anne Marie, Hygentist was fantastic! Very thorough and friendly! The receptionist, Mary was very professional and knowledgeable. I hate going to the dentists, I try to avoid it at all costs. But Dr. Brandie Ard was phenomenal, she was professional, knowledgeable, and offered several, affordable options for my long-term dental care.

I loved the whole office. I seen Dr. Wakefield, him and his staff made sure I was knowledgeable of what was going on and made me feel very comfortable. I will be back!

I had the best experience at Associated Oral Specialties with Dr. Freddy Wakefield. Even though I had a complicated case, he took great care of me just as he promised. I was in so much pain when I arrived at the office, but Dr. Wakefield and his friendly staff worked quickly to make me feel comfortable and resolve the issue. Everyone's bedside manner was fantastic; I have never been to a doctor that took such great care of me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Freddy Wakefield!

I'm so thankful for my friend referring me to Associated Oral Specialist the staff and Dr Shivane Gupta are excellent they went beyond the call of duty to help me when I when in I was in so much pain and when Associated Oral Specialist Dr Gupta got through with me all the pain was gone the problem was fixed and I was very pleased. My experience at this office was very unpleasant, due to the fact that the insurance coordination team did not coordinate my surgery with my insurance provider correctly and in a timely manner. I wish I had saved myself from the headache and pain, and gone somewhere else! I came to the Associated Oral Specialties with so much pain in my wisdom teeth which needed to be removed ASAP. After my initial consultation with Dr. Freddie Wakefield, the insurance coordinator let me know that the surgery is not covered by my Dental Plan, so it has to go through the Medical Plan. She mentioned that a pre-authorization needs to be submitted which can take up to 3 weeks to be reviewed. Even though I was experiencing lots of pain, I decided to push my surgery date to 4 weeks from my visit, so I can get an estimate on how much my Medical Plan will cover. I called AOS and my insurance in 3 weeks to follow up, and I was shocked when I heard that no pre-authorization was received by my insurance. My insurance also informed me that even though Dr. Wakefield is in my dental network, he’s not in my medical network, and since the surgery is covered under medical, I will basically end up paying the bill for it out of pocket. The fact that Dr. Wakefield is not in my Medical network was a very important piece of information that was never brought up to me by the insurance coordination team. I might be wrong, but I think that should be part of the coordination process to inform your patients that they will end up dealing with out of network expenses.

Dr. Gupta was fantastic. He throughly explained everything before my surgery and called me later that night to check on me. I’m on my second day of recovery and I feel pretty good. If I ever need another wisdom tooth removed, I’d absolutely go back to see him.
