I had a great experience in Laveen Modern Dentistry. Staff was very professional and courteous. I was treated by Dr. Hedayat and Rosie. They were a delight during my visit. I highly recommend this dentistry practice.

Charged me and no one even assisted me so disgusted with this place if you have other options please GO TO THE OTHER OPTIONS

I had a broken crown replaced and installed by Dr. MOSTAFA HEDAYAT. The procedure was stress free and painless. Him and the dental assistant were so tentative and made sure I was comfortable during the procedure. I’ve experienced times when dentist didn’t numb an area fully and I had pain. This was not the case with Dr. Hedayat. Thank You Laveen Modern Dentistry for your office’s new Dr.

I would not recommend this office. I was told I had periodontal disease (4&5s.) They suggested a deep clean. Had it done 02/17/2021. After they said I would always be on their periodontal plan, and they wanted to see me every 3 months to get a cleaning for gum disease. Despite telling me every three months I went back on 08/03/2021 for a cleaning. At that appointment she said i still had bleeding and some 4s/5s. still go back even 3 months. Which confused me because when I floss at home I didn't bleed. Even though I honestly floss two times a week since the deep cleaning. Still no bleeding. So I booked my own appt with implant and periodontist specialist. After the exam they said I HAVE HEALTHY GUMS. I was so suprised and told him everything laveen modern said. He was wonderful and said he'd write me a note because I would be ok to see every 6months, and there was no treatment he would offer me. (Basically from my exam with him laveen modern lied to me) This is why I wouldn't trust or recommend laveen modern. I have changed dentist offices.

The facility and staff overall are great. The low rating comes from the billing issue I've been dealing with. I came in a few months ago paid using my credit card for the entire balance, didn't use insurance, I receive a bill despite paying the entire balance the day of. They verify its a mistake and then tell me they will get it adjusted. A month later, another bill, another call, another reassurance to correct it. ow I am getting a collection account notice for this same damn balance. I am hoping they see this and get it fixed immediately!!!!!!!!! Not happy about that.

Inez, Ally, and Dr. Lee made the experience welcoming. They are funny and clever. Lol It was easy to feel like everything was going to be okay with such a lovely bunch. Oh, and the front desk employees who checked me in were beyond what I expected. After being indoors for so long during covid they made the world not seem so bad. ?? (Bring yourself in, it'll be worth it to get back on the dental hygiene wagon)

"Inez at Laveen Modern Dentistry is the best evverrrrr!" Lol They are all very welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed the welcome back into the world of dental hygiene. I have always been scared of the dentist, and to be frank my experiences drifted me even further apart. But I am glad I mustered the courage to come here. They are all so friendly and comforting. Especially Dr. Le. She is funny and relatable. If you're scared, come here. You wont be anymore. ?❤

Extremely unorganized, usually 30-45 min late with appointments

I just moved to the Laveen area from Tempe and was looking for a dentist nearby. I found Laveen Modern Dentistry and I am so thankful I did! They were so accommodating and made sure I was comfortable through every step. The staff were very kind and everything was explained thoroughly to me. Also, it’s a really nice dentist office. Thank you Dr. Hedayat and Willie for the much needed treatment and laughs.

Inez hooked it up. Give her a raise. Lupe was clutch, made the experience easy.

This office continually changes the pricing for treatment plans. And they often do it AFTER the work is done. They always give one quote and then present another that is usually hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars more than originally discussed. Dr. Patel is nice and says they’ll work with you, but when you speak to the office staff it is a different story. They never seem to know what the other hand is doing. They’ve left me in a horrible position and now I have to scramble to find a solution. They’ve lost my business and I encourage everyone to stay away from them as this has been happening for years. They have high dentist turn-over as well as ownership changing hands multiple times. Where there is smoke, there is fire. You’ve been warned!

Home town convenience not worth here...Horrible customer service..Wanted to give it negative -1..I had a hiatus from this place x 3 years and I tried it after some strong suggestion not to. The recommendations will break your bank ..Please do yourself a favor find a second and third opinion..

I had exam and the Dr wanted additional imaging. It took a week but I was able to get that done at another firm paid for out of pocket ( they didn’t accept insurance). I have now tried for three weeks to get an appointment to follow up and determine treatments. I’ve called at least 6 times and gotten the reply “we’ll call as soon as the dentist looks at the imaging ”. Never a single callback. I just get blown off by the front office. Can you say patient abandonment?

The office staff does an amazing job. Claudia Moreno the office manager knows the importance of customer service. She was very helpful and friendly. Dr. Patel is the best dentist in town.

Went in for an estimate, ended up wasting 2 hours. Following my exam, the front desk staff was about to calmly explain why they were having trouble giving an estimate without my insurance info... but then a dentist took it upon himself to interject, yelling at me to just take my business elsewhere. He didn't understand the entirety of the situation, but he immediately started at an 8/10 angry. He must be having trouble at home, idk. I've had better customer service at the DMV. I admit I had some misconceptions about how their pricing works, but it is not straightforward. Everyone deserves respect regardless if you are asking a stupid question or not, and I would have been happy with a calm explanation they were unable to provide any estimates rather than a yelling match. Glad I wont have a short-tempered person with a drill in my head.

Going to the dentist for me is a nervous situation. However Dr. Petal and Rosie made me feel at ease as usual. Great staff here.

Never given consult with surgeon prior to my son's surgery, and learned right before surgery that all 4 wisdom teeth would be extracted at once, rather than 1 side at a time, or given a choice. Never provided with cost estimates before arrival as I was told I would be. Asked to blindly sign off on multiple things via a digital signature bar, without being able to read anything for myself about what I was signing. The receptionist just summarized what I was asked to sign for. My insurance was not used properly despite providing both medical and dental. They told me they only used my dental insurance for oral surgery. My medical insurance actually covers oral surgery and passes the remainder to my dental insurance, but the receptionist stubbornly refused to listen to me and just cut me off often and wanted me to just pay. I asked for an itemized receipt as required by my Flexible Spending Account, and was told the estimate they just sprang on me upon arrival was my receipt. I explained it was not a receipt acceptable by the flexible spending account, and was told it could be e-mailed, and I am still waiting days later for the itemized receipt. We were never offered or asked to keep my son's wisdom teeth, so they were disposed of after we left. I called later in attempts to have them saved, but the office never picked up, so I went back in person. The lobby was nearly empty, so why not answer the phones? I asked about my son's wisdom teeth and was told that it was likely not offered to us because it would not be sanitary. How? They were his own teeth out of his mouth! Earlier, after my son's oral surgery, they said they reduced the amount of people allowed in the back rooms, due to COVID, yet they allowed people without masks -and people with masks below their noses- inside the dental office despite a sign on the door requiring them. At the end of my son's procedure, as I focused on physically getting my sedated and weeping son into the car, I was left with documents they handed me for his care. Nobody talked to me. I had to actually ask to see and meet the surgeon for the first time - after the surgery was complete, outside the office back door. We got home, and they had given me the wrong surgeon's contact information in that paperwork they handed me. Hands down, the WORST experience.

My dental Hygienist Jennifer is wonderful. Everyone was nice and helpful in the office and offered a friendly environment.

Dr. Mata is da bomb!!! He was very caring & patient. He walked me thru the process step by step & listened attentively to me. He answered all my questions & never made me feel rushed. While I was waiting for him to see me, I could hear him talking to the patient in the room next to me & thought whoever this Dr. is I hope I get him & sure enough he walked in. Needless to say, I hope u never have a need to see a periodontist, but if u do, please request him. U won't be sorry. Also, Dr. Le is special. She is super cute & will definitely take care of u. She also listens to u & gives u all of your options without upselling anything to u. The office staff is supreme & very helpful! This is a great place to go.

This place is AWESOME! Dr.Patel is extremely professional, I don't have the best teath in the world and any dentist I have gone to before made me feel horrible about my teeth, Dr.Patel points out the issues and takes care of them and that is that. Everyone on staff is super nice and respectful. Highly recommend this place for people of all ages!

Have been coming to this dentist for a little bit. I have always liked them but this last visit they went above and beyond to help fix my front teeth and I now love them and my smile! I have had a hole/chip in my front tooth for 15yrs+ that no dentist would ever really touch because "it wasn't a cavity." Dr. Patel fixed my whole front smile with minimal work. I will now recommend him to everyone. Their staff is awesome and the new-to-me Dentist is fantastic!!

Compared to the other dentistries that’s I’ve been to, this one is by far the best one. The employees are so friendly. T huh e dentist explains what they’re doing before and after the procedure. They explain everything so clearly. The reason why I’m rating 4 stars is because the wait is a little long. I understand they have other patients, but I’m a pretty impatient person.

The 5 Stars are for the Clinical Staff ONLY!!!!! Lynette has always been AWESOME for myself and my wife. Dr. Le (the new addition) is so far, WONDERFUL!!!! The admin staff I could care less. The new person today upfront collected before the procedure(s) and yes, it's my fault for not questioning him. But, I was charged $43.00 for the fluoride that I'd always refuse. Hell, they almost forgot about me if it wasn't for a male dental assistant that asked me if I needed help after all the procedures have been done. Apparently they are checking if they can get answers for the suggested procedures that I'd like to be performed. I don't hold my breath that I'll see a new group of admin people when I get back there in four months......

Laveen Modern Dentistry was great at helping meet the needs of my schedule. I am a teacher and find it nearly impossible to schedule visits, but they were so accommodating. The staff is all so friendly and they treat you like you are part of their family. Dr. Le completed my procedure in a timely manner and the staff and I were giggling the entire time. My experience was extremely pleasant, and now I’m debating not flossing every day just so I can go back and see them... just kidding :) However, would definitely recommend!!!

I had cracked a tooth and needed it fixed right quickly. My husband was a patient at Lavven Modern Dentistry. I called and they were able to get me in within 24 hrs. Had everything fixed with a temporary crown the same day. Very happy .

I had a terrible experience at the dentist… First off, my appointment was at 1o’clock and I arrived at 12:30 so that I can get the paperwork done. I got the paperwork done around 12:43 PM and then didn’t get taken back until about 1:40 p.m. and other people that got there after me went in front of me. I got my x-rays done and sat in a chair waiting for the dentist and hygienist for another hour just to get told I needed to come back another day. I was told that in order to get a deep cleaning it was gonna be $755 for my entire mouth which is outrageously expensive. For the amount of time they had me waiting I should have gotten Some kind of discount. I don’t have insurance and was going to pay with care credit and for that reason I think they pushed me aside and did not take care of me. I felt like they looked at me like they were not going to make any money off of me so my time didn’t really matter. Needless to say I’m never coming back even after I get insurance. The only reason they got two stars is because everyones attitudes were super nice but, the way they treated me was not nice.I do not recommend coming to this dentist ever

Yesterday I had an appointment at 4 o'clock. I was given X-rays and had pictures taken of my teeth and then had a doctor review them so no complaints there. Then a second doctor came and reviewed them and that was followed by another person who came and did some measurements on my gums. I was then told that the hygienist is running late and at this time it was 5 o'clock. I let them know i had something going on at 6 and they left the room and another person came in and said I can walk you to the front door. So I never got my teeth cleaned even after having an appointment. Unfortunately they lost 2 customers because of this, my wife and I will need to find a new dentist.

I LOVE the staff here. They have been incredible every single time I’ve come. I was so nervous for my root canal and they were great. I felt nothing. 10/10 would recommend.

I went to Laveen Modern Dentistry and saw Dr Le. The dentist and the staff was awesome. I had some work done by another dentist and I needed a root canal. They gave me a treatment plan and options. When things got worse the following weekend over New Years, they got me in first thing in the morning on Monday and relieved a lot of the pain.

Best dental work in town. No doubt.

If you are in school and get sent to this office for your extern please ask for another office, the only people that were helpful here were the hygienist and dr.lee. The other dental assistants weren’t helpful at all. I think it was because they didn’t want me to catch on because they were afraid I was gonna learn to fast and take their place. Also I was told that I wasn’t “Strong enough” when the only reason why I was like that was because the dental assistant didn’t teach me anything. They didn’t take consideration at all. The lead shouldn’t even be the lead if he can’t even teach me correctly. It would get busy sometimes so I was understanding but when we had downtime the lead wouldn’t help me get the grip of things. Having me watch procedures is not teaching me. The manager was also very rude, and not professional in my opinion. She would ask me questions like if her staff was teaching me everything I had to know. I also wasn’t shown to take X-rays until my last week. Please don’t go on your externship here.

Jennifer the hygienist , Dr.Le and Willie the dental assistant was great they accomplished everything I needed and was very clear on what was needed to be done and not to mention the whole front staff was awesome I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS DENTAL OFFICE !!!!!

Everyone is very polite and welcoming. All the dental work they said I need I feel is necessary and I feel the cost is reasonable. Everyone from the front desk to the assistance, hygienist and Dentists are very nice, knowledgeable and make you feel comfortable. Getting Dental work done is never fun, but they make it pleasant.

Honestly the reviews on this page are completely misleading, the service in this office is exceptional, I recently switched dental offices and the staff made me feel so comfortable and they were very educating with everything they were doing. I enjoyed my visit and will definitely refer my friends and family. Thank you to the staff for your kindness ?

Went in for a toothache and Dr. Le accurately diagnosed the source of pain and came up with a treatment plan. She was very professional and shows great care for her patients as well as the assistant. I ended up getting a root canal and had issues with fitment of a crown, but Dr. Le took care of the issue and I was taken care of despite the several visits. She also stayed after hours to complete my treatment and ensure fitment and comfort. Would come back again. Thank you to all involved with my treatment.

The year was 2020. In the cool month of February the time came for me to service my disgusting teeth. It had been 3 years and i was not looking forward to the pain. Then out of no where came Laveen Modern Dentistry. Quick, relatively painless, and reasonably priced. The overall experience was so good i might even come back in 3 months like they recommended. But, in all seriousness this is probably the best dental office i have ever been to. Staff and service was top notch. And, now i can smile with confidence again.

Everyone at the office was really nice. Dr.Valencia was great at explaining every detail about my teeth and answering any questions that I had. Also Yesenia and Ale were a great assistant. My hygienist Lynett was awesome, she is really nice and gentle. Gisselle was a great going over financial options with me.

I recommend this office to everyone. Today Dr.Valencia did treatment for me, him and his assistants Yesenia and Angie were very professional and made me feel very comfortable. I get MAJOR anxiety walking into a dentist office, its even worse once I get into the chair. But here everyone is so nice, caring, understanding and professional. I had to have a deep cleaning one day and a root canal done another day and because of the anxiety had to have nitrous. I’ve never walked out of a dentist office with no pain after. The hygienist for the deep cleaning (I believe Marisol) was very patient and made sure She was as gentle as possible. The dentist (I believe Dr. Valencia) was very patient and took his time. I DEFINITELY recommend this office especially people who have anxiety about dentists! You won’t be disappointed!

I called to make an appointment for my husband, and spoke to a very RUDE Allie. She was very short, and snippy. I asked if I had to give my husband's social security number to find out if they had available appointments, she RUDELY told me she'd have to erase everything she put in to see if they had available appointments; and then said I'll erase it! I didn't ask this RUDE young lady to erase anything, I just asked a simple question. If the Representative would've explained that the numerous questions were necessary to make an appointment I would've understood. I will never use this Dentist office, nor will I ever give positive feedback. You had one chance to give a first impression, and Laveen Modern Dentistry, you BLEW IT!!!! Rude first impression, RUDE front office person! Thanks to Allie!

First, I would like to preface this share with the fact I am severely allergic to dentists... No, not really. I just struggle greatly with dental care due to some very bad experiences, as in all of them, while I received care during active duty. Mind you this was many years ago but still very embedded in my current walk in life and health care decisions. I shared this very real fear with the scheduler as I was making my much more than needed appointment. I went into this knowing I needed quite a bit of dental care as I had neglected recommended regular dental care for years. I shared with the doctor as well about my fear as he would be the one essentially dealing with my personal issues. What I can say now is the entire crew was amazing and the doctor did everything to help me be comfortable and have control of my fears. They were fabulous!! I recommend this place to everyone!!! I do suggest, if you are like me and have some serious dental fear, you let the scheduler know what's up and help understand where you are so they know where to start, thus giving them the ability to offer a better treatment experience. I am grateful I did and now I finally feel I will be able to address my dental needs for the long term.

Laveen Modern Dentistry is a great dental office!! I referred several friends because the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I was struggling financially and needed to see the dentist for a crown and the Periodontist for some problems with my gums and a possible implant. I was able to see the Periodontist and the dentist on the same day at the same location and they had great payment options. Give them a try.....you won’t regret it!

My appointment for my initial cleaning was at 6:00AM, as I had to be at work. I was taken back fairly quickly, but did not see a hygienist until well after 7:00AM. During the hour wait sitting in the chair, the Doctor as well as other technicians were walking around audibly discussing the hygienist's tardiness and wondering where she was. I was extremely disappointed in how terribly long this appointment was, and then subpar cleaning that I received from the late hygienist. I will not be going back and will suggest to everyone that they seek dental care elsewhere. Additionally, the treatment they gave my father was horrible, and effectively refused to give him a cleaning. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

went to this office for the first time and had a great experience. was in and out pretty quick. my sister had a small cavity and they filled it on the same day which i thought that was great. i will return. thank you everyone for being so nice.

From average 3 stars to 1 star. I paid my balance in full in one month and they had me on auto payments. I specifically asked one of the females to take me off and she was more interested in her co worker convo with what are you doing on the weekend instead of removing me from auto pay. I was billed again when I owed nothing and now told I have to wait until my money goes back into my account. The dentists they have are good but staff under them is incompetent and not thorough at all!

This office is amazing, they make you feel like family not just a patient. I certainly recommend it to everyone. I have the best doctor in the office, Dr. Valencia. Love your favorite patient Jackie!

The whole staff was wonderful from first checking in with Gisselle she was very nice and friendly quick to check me in , the Dental Assistants Ale ,Willie were both AWESOME very nice and friendly . Also Dr.Valencia and the Hygienist Lynette were AMAZING! I felt well taken care of very satisfied with my cleaning and exam . Overall FIVE star experience.
