Downeast dental is a wonderful office. They have great staff that are knowledgeable and caring. Receptionist is also very kind and helped so much understanding my insurance! I have made this my regular dentist.

My dental experience with Downeast Dental was beyond amazing. I was very apprehensive about this dentist appointment because feeling confident I would need a tooth pulled. After my X-Rays confirmed the tooth could not be saved the dentist explained all the benefits of pulling the tooth, and ultimately the dentist left the choice for me to decide. Which I greatly appreciated!?. I have such anxiety with all things dentist related; however the tooth pull only took 30 minutes from to beginning to end, as they were so understanding and compassionate. The most amazing part of all of this with Downeast Dental is I am not a patient of their practice, and they scheduled my emergency procedure the very same day. Incredible!? My wife and I find the dental staff the be caring, supportive, friendly and excellent at their jobs. The dentist is up-to-date on the latest technologies and very easy to talk to.

If you are looking for a dentist in the Ellsworth area, look no more. Dr. Wright is phenomenal. I had a tooth extracted by him and it was virtually painless. Going to the dentist for me is a frightening experience and he put me totally at ease. He told me up front that it was a difficult tooth to pull out and it went flawlessly. Receiving Novacane is always painful, but Dr. Wright administered it with no discomfort at all. Again if you are looking for a new dentist, you should definitely give Dr. Wright's office at call. I think that you will be very pleased with your choice.

Dr. Wright was absolutely incredible during my visit. I came in needing an emergency extraction and he was able to get me in first thing the next morning. He was extremely knowledgeable, answered all of my (many) questions, and helped ease my anxiety about having my tooth pulled. Highly recommend for any of your dental needs!

Dr. Wright saw my sister and she has really bad dental anxiety and has historically hated dentists but loved him! He is very knowledgeable and answered all her questions and worked efficiently and comfortably and now she is happy to go back for her biannual checkups!
