I seriously could not have asked for a better experience. Same day appointment for my mouth pain. Fantastic Dr Katherine. Her assistant Marcella was so sweet and very knowledgeable. I felt so relieved and happy leaving. Everyone at the Bentonville office is A+++

Reading through the reviews of this place and I see multiple people complaining of dr nate. I went in to get a root canal done today and felt rushed and like I was an annoyance. So what are the owners really doing to help dr Nate better his chair side manners?? This is ridiculous. Something needs to be done. I’m not one to leave negative reviews but my experience was that uncomfortable. It’s sad that we have to pay so much for such a bad experience. I will not be going back to this clinic if I ever need another root canal. On another note, the front office and the assistant were very well put together and friendly. Maybe invest in looking for resources for dr Nate to better himself or find a new specialist? *Update: After careful consideration, I’m adding one star for the front desk people and the assistant. As mentioned above, they were wonderful. I’m also adding a star for the cleanliness of the office. -The other star is for the procedure being done correctly (as far as I know). Also, Dr Nate has contacted me and apologized. He mentioned that he will work on his chair side manners.

I was terrified to get a root canal. Behrents Endodontics was very kind and reassuring. It was a great experience and I am so thankful to have my tooth fixed!

Dr. Townsend is kind, efficient, and does incredible work. She made me feel super comfortable and went above and beyond to make sure my teeth were back to a healthy state. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful too!

I had an appointment to take care of a problem that was causing some pain. I expected a lengthy first visit and then maybe a week or more before the procedure could be scheduled. I arrived and soon after it was explained what needed to be done. Probably next week? Nope, come back in a couple of hours and we'll get that done. Dr. Nathaniel said it would take about 45 minutes, it was in fact 35 minutes, zip zap....nearly pain free, I never have liked that needle even though I barely felt it. My experience was pleasant, fast and very comfortable! The doctor and everyone else there are very efficient, friendly and fun and they politely let me share my sometimes goofy sense of humor! I wouldn't hesitate to go back if the need arises!

Amazing staff from the front desk to Lilly the assistant to Dr Townsend. They made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I've never had dental work done and was extremely nervous. They put me at ease quickly and made sure I was always ok. I used the laughing gas and throughout the drilling and noises the most comforting thing was hearing Dr. Townsend humming. Her voice was very calming and her humming helped center me. I was a ball of nerves prior and this office definitely made me feel like dental work is not torture lol. 10/10 recommend to ANYONE needing dental work!

They made me feel so comfortable. This was the first time I’ve ever had to have a root canal and everyone was so kind and made me feel relaxed. If you need a root canal done i would highly recommend.

Worst dental experience ever! I take more care changing my spark plugs than the rough attitude of Dr. Nate's root canal. I honestly was made to feel it was a bother for me to be in his chair. I knew I was in trouble when he administered the most painful numbing shot I have received in 50 years and Dr. Nate could have cared less. Dr. Nate never explained anything that was happening and in fact only spoke two words to me. I will be telling my dentist to stop sending patients. Only gave one star in order to post this review.

Dr. Nathanial Behrents was rude. Point blank. I was getting my root canal done and at one point I could feel a small pinch. Not knowing if the pain would progress as the procedure went on, I raised my hand to indicate I wanted more numbing. Dr. Behrents’ response? “Oh honey if you could feel that you’d be screaming”. He completely disregarded what I felt during a procedure I was scared about. It seems as though this place disregards all bad reviews and doesn’t learn or grow from them because my friend recently had her root canal done and described the exact same doctor as rude and unpleasant. There aren’t a lot of places that do root canals in NWA, and you guys should really take into account that a lot of dentists around here recommend their patients to your office. So, maybe work on having a nicer staff and making the experience better because if it were up to me, I’d say to make this place your last resort.

i had a horrible experience with Dr. Nate Behrents. He was rude, in a hurry, condescending, and had a bad chairside manner. He was very rough with me. I will never go there again nor will I recommend him. The only reason I gave one star is because he did my root canal.

It was the easiest fastest root canal in my life. The COVID measures seemed a little excessive, but it was all done with a smile. Everything runs so smooth in their office, and every little detail is well thought through, such as office decor, the nurses uniforms that are fitting and slimming (I had to ask where they buy them), extreme cleanliness of all surfaces, painless surgery, and easy check out. They specialize in root canals and had a perfect streamlined process for that. The business could be a case study to teach how it is done.

This was the most efficient and professional dental experience of my life. Due to past experiences with small town dentists, I had developed severe anxiety towards dental visits. I was prepared for the same and left pretty well shocked at how well it went. My last root canal left me feeling like I had been punched in the face and sore for days. Two days after my visit here and I have experience little to no discomfort or disruption in my day. Can't speak highly enough about this office and their staff!

Dr Behrents was wonderful. I will definitely go to him in the future if I need a root canal. However, I hope that won’t be seeing him anytime soon.

For some reason, I’m super afraid of dentists. My first visit, Dr. Behrents was so pleasant and explained everything. Today I needed an extraction and my stomach was balling because, in the past, I didn’t numb well. Not only did he numb me on the first try, he did the extraction with ease and I felt nothing! He was awesome and his staff is SUPER nice!!! I recommend him to EVERYONE!!

I fly all the way from NYC to see Dr. Katherine Behrents. I have had 3 root canals with her and I could not be more pleased. Dr. Katherine is kind, knowledgeable, and professional. She explains the procedure, answers questions, and her confident demeanor always puts me at ease. I tried to see doctors closer to where I live, but Dr. Katherine set such a high standard, it made it impossible for others to compare. After my experience with Dr. Katherine, I do not trust anyone else with my teeth. The prices are also fair and reasonable. You won’t find a better price for this quality of service.

I would not use this facility. During root canal I was not communicated with on what was going on. He walked in, did the procedure and walked out without ever discussing anything. The nurse gave me the after care instructions and did the majority of the work. I was given a quote for fees and paid upfront, I was then charged an additional $300.00 several months after the procedure was done. I was there on a referral from my dentist and I’ve informed them I wouldn’t refer anyone else to this clinic.

Did an awesome job on spouse...they got him in as an emergency and he has not had any problems. Staff was very helpful!

This place is very cookie cutter. I left with a root canal but that's where my satisfaction ends. They charge you for things you don't need and already have (such as exrays already sent to them by my dentist taken the afternoon before). Office staff responds to concerns by saying, "that's what we do". I admit I am a big baby and they do offer Nitrous but at a rate of $100.00 My dentist charges me $37.50. Other than an introduction by the doctor there was no further communication with or from him. When my arms and legs came off the chair with pain from one of the injections, the doctor didn't even respond. NOTHING... When the root canal was over the doctor left the room without so much as a thank you, not to mention a run down on the procedure he had preformed and what I could expect.

I had increasing discomfort 2 weeks after my Root canal with Katherine at Behrents , her opinion was "just inflammation, come back in 2 more weeks" I obtained second opinion. saw a senior practioner of Endodontics, recommend emergent surgical procedure next day to remove nerve left from Root canal done by Katherine-She called me and was very unprofessional. We are all human she simply refused to acknowledge she made a mistake. Going to Behrents cost me an extra procedure, weeks of discomfort, & missed days of work. If you are considering this place, don't do it! They get 1 star only because I can't give zero...

I had my second root canal done recently by Dr. Nate. The first one he did for me was back in 2012 and hasn’t given me any trouble. This one was a badly abscessed molar. He did it in two appointments and I couldn’t be happier. Everyone that works there are the best. No one looks forward to Endodontic treatment but if the need arises, trust me, this is the place to go.

Mrs. Beherents was very professional. She did great work and took excellent care of my problems. I received a personal phone call from Mr. Beherents about an issue that I had. That is the kind of personal service that makes a comfortable environment. The office staff is also great!

Dr. Behrents and staff were very courteous and professional. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly and make sure I understood all of my options and what would need to be done. They explained all my financial options very clearly as well and went above and beyond to make my experience a great one, including calling just to check on me a few hours after my procedure. I would highly recommend them and grateful for the care they gave me.

I had my 1st visit with Dr Katherine Friday. The office staff got me in a few days earlier than expected which I appreciated because the pain was increasing daily. It had been a number of years since my last root canal. I was impressed with the way the process is so "clean" now. Except for the shot to numb me out, I experienced no pain! The pain management after the procedure was minimal as well. I told Dr Katherine it was the best root canal EVER & I meant it!

Dr Nate did a great job on a difficult tooth. He used hi tech instruments and made sure I was comfortable through the whole procedure. His staff is very caring and fun. The office is a great place to visit with wonderful music and pictures to make you comfortable.

Excellent in every category!

Other friends had told me how bad a root canal would be. I was so pleasantly surprised. I thought it was easier than having a tooth filled. Because of the shield they used around my tooth, I had no grit or bad taste in my mouth. It was all captured on the shield. I just had to sit back and relax. I did not require any pain killers after the procedure, not even aspirin. I would definitely reccommend Behrents Endodontics. Katherine was my specialist.

As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a lovely young lady which speaks volumes because you know its going to be a good visit. Short waiting time in the lobby. Very matter of fact and organized. By the time Dr. Behrents entered our room x-rays completed and he know what he was going to do. Recommend Dr. Behrents Endodontics office to anyone with or without kids. Very clean, friendly and efficient.

The staff was very friendly! We didn't have to wait very long before it was our turn. Katherine put us at ease about the whole procedure. We had a great experience there.

They are great. Very profesional and at the same time super friendly. I went one day for treatment and I left with my hands full of backpacks and Walmart gift cards that they donated to the Springdale School District. I love that they are also very invested in thier community. I like em all a lot but Ruby is my favroite dental assistant.

Absolutely the best care in Endodontics! Behrents is the place to go!!

I can't say enough about the care that I received by Dr. Nate Behrents. I really felt that he listened to me at my first appointment and let me tell him what I needed in order to be comfortable. Not to mention, this office has technology that allows them to not only work fast but accurately which limits the amount of time you are in the chair. Dr. Behrents has several levels of sedation and he let me choose based on the procedure I was having and my level of sedation. I've had previous root canals with other local dentists/endodontists and because they don't have the technology Dr. Behrents does, I was in the chair for hours vs. 45 minutes. Dr. Behrents also gives you his cell phone number so he can be reached after hours vs. calling a nurse line and waiting for the doctor to call you back. Having a root canal is not an experience that anyone wants to have, but if you have to have it done, go to Dr. Behrents because he understands dental anxiety and wants you to have a pleasant experience.

I will not recommend this place for rooth canals. There are so many other excellent options in Northwest Arkansas. The office looks good and the front desk assistants are also friendly but the doctor does not seems knowledgable about patients with TMJ. he lacks experience in that area. I thankfully found a better option and saved my tooth.

I recently had a root canal performed by Dr. Nathaniel Behrents. His staff were extremely friendly and helpful during both my consultation and the actual procedure. I was informed in advance both times of the amount my insurance covered and the amount I needed to pay. The root canal Dr. Behrents performed was painless, even less than the fillings I've had done by my regular dentist. He offered to answer any questions I had, during both the consultation visit and the procedure, and I received an info sheet with his cell phone number in case something went wrong with the tooth after his office's regular hours. I was also provided with a prescription for pain medicine without asking. The morning after the procedure, I received a call from one of his staff asking how I was doing and if I was in any pain. Thankfully, he appears to have done an excellent job, as the tooth is almost completely pain-free after less than 48 hours. I cannot recommend Behrents enough. Needing an endodontist stinks, but it doesn't get much better than Dr. Behrents.
