My youngest went in for her first dental appointment with Dr. Houshmand and it was by far the most pleasant and smooth doctors appointment I have ever taken her to! Her dental assistant Laura was such a gem and had so much patience with her. We are so looking forward to returning for her 6 month appointment :)

I just had my first appointment at Wellesley Dental Group. From the moment I walked through the door, to the moment I left, I was in the presence of a exceedingly well run organization. Highly professional. Extremely thorough. Pristinely kept facility. Every person I came in contact with was more than competent and very pleasant. I can't recommend Wellesley Dental Group more highly.

This was my first time coming to Wellesley Dental Group and I had an amazing experience! I was first seen by Dr. Famina. She was very personable, friendly, and I felt very comfortable talking to her about my dental/overall health. I’m usually skeptical of medical professionals, but she made me feel like I could let my guard down and be open. She was also very knowledgeable on many different alternatives I could take to improve my dental health. I had my x-rays/cleaning completed by Melinda. Melinda had great energy and was very pleasant to be around. She did an excellent job on my cleaning and was extremely thorough. I would also like to give a shout-out to the receptionists Daniela and Sasha. They both had amazing customer service and was available to answer any questions I needed. Daniela did a great job explaining my insurance break down and what I needed to do for my next visit. She also offered appointment cards as an extra resource to remind me about my upcoming appointments. Overall my experience at the Wellesley Dental Group was outstanding! They were kind, patient, and they listened to me. It was judgment free environment and I really appreciated that. I will be recommending anyone who is looking and I also recommend anyone who is reading this review and is considering trying them out! You will NOT be disappointed! When you go, ask for Dr. Famina and Melinda, again you will not be disappointed.

I have been a patient of Wellesley Dental Group for 5 years and never have I ever been disappointed with the services Dr Ali and his team are providing. I think of my dentist as of a trustworthy, honest and competent doctor, who has a great sense of humor - which is not less important to me. Being around people who think positive while you are in pain - what can be better:) Jokes aside, I would definitely recommend Wellesley Dental Group. My overall experience includes braces, crowns, veneers, wisdom teeth extractions as well as professional teeth cleaning on a regular basis. I've done it all! Very satisfied!

Amazing work from Dr. Ali and his dental staff. He removed a wisdom tooth and did a filling at the same time. I highly recommend seeing him he did amazing work and he’s a very friendly person. The entire staff was also great.

The staff is amazing, and very skilled. I started coming here years ago, and you couldn't pay me to switch to another practice! I'm moving away soon, and actually sad that I'll have to find a new dentist- you can't do much better than the people at Wellesley Dental Group.

The service and technology here is fantastic. Dr. Ali was able to diagnose and prescribe easy and affordable treatment for long-standing issues I've had with my teeth that have stumped other dentists.

After a tooth crown appreciate being seen when pain appeared. However, not happy that doing the crown on Dr. Ali’s advice, did NOT solve the deeper issue. A root canal might be the least intrusive option with a chance for more.

Doctor and assistant were extremely unprofessional. We’re gossiping, flirting and discussing juvenile things while drilling cavities in my mouth. I was quite vulnerable as the patient and it felt as if they were not focused on me or what they were doing at all.

Best dentist I’ve been to yet, painless teeth cleaning.

I hadn't been to a dentist in a few years primarily because my last visit was so horrible. But my experience at Wellesley Dental was amazing! They made me actually look forward to my visits. The staff was very polite and accommodating. They left me super motivated to take better care of myself. So far I have been there for one superficial cleaning, 2 deep cleanings and a filling. Will be certain to go back regularly. They also had an oral surgeon look at my teeth even though he didn't have an opening. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Amazing experience from start to finish. I took my 12 year old daughter in to see the pediatric dentist, and she had a great visit. And we will definitely be going back to see the orthodontist, so convenient and the people are all very friendly!

Great care and expert staff

I have been going to Wellesley dental group for about 20 years and I always have a great experience. The staff is always friendly and pleasant. The hygienist does a great job with the teeth cleaning. They are all very skilled at what they do. I never have to worry when I am there. I know they will do the best job to help me take care of my teeth.

The Ali family and staff make going to the dentist a total pleasure!

I am very thankful that Dr. Ali was able to see me quickly and save a tooth I thought was beyond repair. I have had many traumatic dental experiences and Dr. Ali was reassuring and confident. The office is a family and they are wonderful. I am cautiously hopeful about my future smile :)

I’m so glad I found this practice! I need a lot of reconstructive work following a traumatic accident that left me with a shattered jaw and broken teeth. They work with my medical team of maxillofacial surgeons to design a comprehensive plan to restore my teeth and smile. The doctors at Weston Dental Specialist Group are highly skilled professional, and friendly. I’m so appreciative for exceptional care I get at the Weston Dental Specialists Group.

11/2/20 My entire family was seen today at Wellesley Dental Group and I am thoroughly impressed. The office is extremely clean. The dentists are professional and knowledgeable. I got a true sense that they care about our dental health. The hygienists were wonderful. Very impressed. Happy to have a dentist that my kids are excited to go to. 11/18/20 Two of my children had some cavities filled with Dr. Derek and I cannot say enough how patient and kind Dr. Derek was with them. They handled it really well and I believe this is due to the professionalism and car that Dr. Derek gives. Very pleased. I was happy to talk with Dr. Derek about their hygiene and and hear all his knowledgeable insight. Thank you

Tucked in a small street in Wellesly sits a very special dental office. One can notice immediately the attention to service and details. This family practice and support staff provide the most advanced dental equipment done with a true friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend you to pay them a visit.

The place is super clean and well prepared for the covid, including required entryway hand-sanitize, the mouth wash, and the close-to-mouth vacuum in the treatment room. I feel safe here!

Dr. Ali and the folks at Wellesley Dental are always friendly, accommodating and professional. They explain every part of every procedure and do so patiently. This is a good sized practice but they remember their patients’ names and treat them kindly. Appointments are easy to make and change if necessary and billing is well-explained. The equipment is state-of-the-art, including additional COVID inspired machines that remove particles during procedures. Can’t go wrong here!

WDG is not only a wonderful practice to receive care at, but it was also a wonderful place to work. Drs. Ali and Dr. Barra treat both their patients and staff like family. I can not speak highly enough of this practice

A tremendous staff at Wellesley Dental, super friendly and skilled. I live in California and come to MA to visit family and get my dental done, I would highly recommend this office for dental work/hygiene.

I was a bit apprehensive about coming in during the pandemic. However, reading the safety measures posted on their website, and along with the conversation with the receptionist I felt at ease. My husband and I scheduled our appointment for the same time slot. I was VERY happy with the safety precautions they’ve put into place for each step of the appointment. From checking in, to the treatment, to checking out..I felt very safe. When we arrived for our appointment, we waited in the car and called the receptionist to let her know that we’re here. Then, we were called on the front steps to have our temperature taken (touchless). Before coming in, they have you disinfect your mouth with a hydrogen peroxide rinse and sanitize your hands. We were taken straight in to the treatment rooms which had numerous disinfectant tools setup (UV Lamps, UV Air Purifiers, Aerosol Suctions which helps with filtering viruses/germs/etc.). I’ve been happy with my experiences with Wellesley Dental Group in the past, but now seeing how they’ve handled reopening in the midst of a pandemic has surpassed my expectations. Thank you Wellesley Dental Group for investing into the safety of your staff and your patients!

I have been going to this practice for more than 15 years and have been very satisfied. A family owned practice, this group is composed of excellent dentists with the latest technology and techniques. Their safety protocols during the Covid epidemic are excellent with a mix of high technology and thoughtful practices. I felt very safe and the staff did as well. I’ve had the same hygienist for years - she is very efficient and personable. This practice honestly cares about their patients, staff and running a good business. In times like these, I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Wellesley Dental Group continues to provide excellent care and a clean environment. Clearly this practice has put in thoughtful measures to minimize exposure to germs during the CoVid 19 pandemic by checking patient temperatures and requiring hand sanitizing and mouthwash in the vestibule before entry. They also have installed additional air purification systems in exam rooms, further demonstrating that Drs Ali and Ali go above and beyond to care for their patients. My entire family felt safe and comfortable during our visit and left with complete checkups and cleanings. Great Hygienists and Dentists!!

I can’t stress this enough how much I love going to this office!! Growing up I had horrible experiences that made going to the dentist a dreadful experience— even as an adult. At this office everyone who works there is always smiling and I’ve had great, positive experiences. The office is clean, the equipment is up to date and the customer service is amazing! You can tell everyone there cares and wants the best for you. Truly a gem in Wellesley, I highly recommend :)

Best dentist office ever! My husband and I have lived all around New England and have never found a dentist office that we truly felt comfortable at until we started going to Wellesley Dental Group. We’ve now been coming here for three years. I used to dread the dentist and now I look forward to coming. All of the staff are super knowledgeable and everyone strives to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Ali truly listens to your concerns and develops a treatment plan to suite your needs. Would never go anywhere else!!

I recently had a routine check-up at Wellesley Dental Group. The staff is exceptionally friendly and Dr. Ali was very patient as I asked questions. They know the names of my whole family who also visits them and always ask about them. This makes the dentist experience feel like visiting friends and family. I am the kind of person who hates going to the dentist, when I moved to Boston and started going to the Wellesley Dental group I was pleasantly surprised with how easy and painless it was. The front desk is accommodating and friendly, the hygienist efficient and nice, and Dr. Femina Ali is the nicest dentist I have ever met and is very knowledgeable. I am going back in for some more work next week and I am very confident that Mohammad Hassan Barra, who is very nice and understanding, will do a gentle and amazing job.

I've been a patient at Wellesley Dental Group for almost a year now. The entire staff is so kind and professional. They are genuinely caring and compassionate. Dr. Ali and Dr. Stephens are doing my implants and I couldn't be happier with the results. They planned a strategy for me and have implemented it in a way that has been convenient for me and with little to no discomfort. I use to have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist, but ,thankfully that is no longer the case. They are VERY good at putting you at ease. Wellesley dental and Dr Ali were nothing short of amazing. I felt a real connection with the people there. Rachel at the front showed me around, and I got coffee while waiting. Dr Ali was extremely knowledgeable and fair, and was very very thorough. It’s great because you start the appointment with questions you have for her, which she amazingly remembers, then answers later after the checkup, followed by asking for any other questions. I was touched at how she shook my hand and told me to call her if any problems arise. My teeth feel absolutely clean, too! I’ll be returning again next year for my checkup.

The best dental clinic I have been! This is a premium clinic. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by friendly assistants. Then the owner talked to me about my medical history and needs for 10-15 minutes before proceeding to a typical dental visit. Yes, I love the attention to the details. Yes, I will come back!

I have always hated going to the dentist... until I came here. I have since moved out of the state, and yet I am more than willing to take time off of work just so I can come here and get work done etc. They are extremely friendly and nice! It can be an awkward thing just sitting there in silence with people digging around in your mouth, but I really enjoy listening to them talk to each other (not just asking for tools). I can’t say enough good things about them!

I’ve been going to Wellesley Dental Group since they opened (20+ years ago). They are great. Their hours are convenient. Their dentists and hygienists are thorough, professional and caring. We just went for my 2.5 year old daughter’s appointment. Their pediatric staff is the cherry on top. They helped my daughter feel comfortable and relaxed during her visit.
