My daughter needed urgent oral surgery and Dr. Tallent was incredible. He worked his schedule around to see her and surgery was two days later! He is VERY knowledgeable and kind. He worked with her dentist and ortho to decide the best treatment plan and his office continued to follow up after surgery. Great patient care, we wouldn’t go anywhere else. I would never go to any other practice than this practice. Dr Tallent and his staff are phenomenal. Everything went smooth for my teeth surgery and I thank them so much for the care they gave me. The practice is extremely clean the staff is so friendly when you walk in the door and everyone wants to do everything they can to help you and make your visit a very smooth and enjoyable experience. I came here for a second opinion because I didn’t like the care I was getting at another local oral surgery office. Dr. Tallent is super understand and has taken the time to sit down and explain all of my options while patiently answering my questions. In addition, the front desk ladies are all so nice! I was feeling a little dizzy after my procedure while I was checking out and they took the time to take care of me getting me a drink and even walked me out to my car once I was feeling better - definitely not in their job description! They’ve gone above and beyond here and I would highly recommend them!

Would highly recommend Southeast Oral Surgery to anyone needing tooth extraction, dental implants, etc. Great teamwork with patient care.

Welp. Had to have another molar pulled, and came straight to Dr Tallent. He and his staff were so pleasant to be with, especially since I was clearly scared. I appreciated that they remembered me despite the length of time since my last visit. While I don’t recommend having teeth pulled, if you’re going to, go to SE Oral and Maxillofacial.

Everyone was very polite.courteous, considerate, thoughtful and helpful. They could not have been better. A pleasure to go back!!

To say I am squeamish at a dentist or oral surgeon would be a massive understatement. Dr. Swann had a very complex procedure of extracting 2 teeth including a wisdom tooth. Both were impacted and infected and 1 had a further complication of perhaps being cancerous. He explained the entire procedure and I opted to sleep during the procedure. When I awoke I had anticipated at least a day of inactivity and some pain. I was more than a bit surprised (and elated) that I experienced no pain, did not have to take pain or nausea medication and was actually able to work a substantial portion of the day (no talking). The ensuing days I followed instructions on brushing, rinsing and diet and can report that all went better than well.

Dr Tallent has a relaxed manner and takes his time to explain in detail his treatment plans. I found him to be well informed and up to date on all treatment plans. I have had more than one consult and the other offices didn't seem to think outside the standard prodocol. Upon, receiving care, his staff and he worked in an efficient and confident manner. I should add, I have a dental background and recognize skilled care as opposed to sloppy care. I read the most recent review of Ms Mullen and had the opposite experience.

Friendly staff and quick service, available rest rooms

The staff was very friendly upon check in. Was apprehensive about my procedure -- had a broken tooth (#29) in my gum from a root canal 15 years earlier. Dr. Swann made me feel comfortable and seemed to make a major issue a simple process in about 20 minutes. That is what you call skill and talented.

As I reach the half century mark, with numerous visits to military & civilian dentists, I can honestly say this office is BY FAR, the best. On the other hand, the person that handles VA care for their office is very short with you when you call or just never returns a phone call.

Fantastic staff. I had 3 teeth out last week and I was very nervous beforehand and got sick. They were very kind and helped me giving me any medicine I needed. I’m also a type 1 diabetic, and the staff was very knowledgeable. I recommend everyone to get their wisdom teeth out here!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Brian Tallent. I have a history of stage 3 squamous cell carcinoma in my tongue with radiation and chemo treatments. Dr. Tallent reviews every procedure plan from my treatment team and provides feedback and creative ideas to help me retain as much function as possible and minimize bone & teeth loss. I also needed after hours care and he was prompt to see me and give me a nerve block to help manage pain. He is thorough, compassionate, and innovative in his approach to care. I highly recommend him!

With this review I may never see Dr. Tallent ever again, but I can ask you this? Have you ever needed extractions and did not go to him first you doing yourself a disservice. I am overcoming a cancer that requries a medication stipulating that my entire grill comes out. SCARED? Heck to the 1000th power hell yeah? Dr. Tallent noticed that fear, gained my trust, and the next thing I know I was looking at my wife. He is a miracle worker in dentistry and also a veteran.... Woohoo.

The receptionist, Noel, is rude as all get out. She sits behind the glass complaining about everything. Dr Herrin on the other hand is a fantastic surgeon.

Dr Swann was great. I didn't feel a thing and he made me laugh the whole time. I might go get some more teeth pulled just so I can hang out with him!

OMG!!! I loovvveee this facility the nurses were wonderful and Dr. Tallent is the MAN I’m such a cry baby and was so nervous I had to get 6 teeth extracted at once and he made sure to go over everything thoroughly with me to make me feel at ease I opted for the sleep sedation and when I tell you I didn’t feel anything before or afterwards this was very quick and painless I’m home now and haven’t felt any pain yet I recommend this facility to everyone especially Dr Tallent he knows what he’s doing THANK YOU!!!!!!!??
