I enjoy going to doctor dental because I like to keep my teeth cleaned

I was very disappointed and wouldn't recommend anyone to Dr dental because of my dissatisfaction with them. "Sorry but it's just how I see it I wish that I had never gone there. "

The receptionist, the hygienist and the dentist were all wonderful! I have had two very bad experiences with dentists in the past so I am a very nervous patient. They answered all of my questions and were extremely patient. I am so grateful!

The staff has always been attentive and fast!! I especially feel comfortable with Dr. Ganatra who has made every procedure virtually painless. I would highly recommend her.

I do not recommend this place for any kind of dental work. My husband had a tooth ache and yes, they took him in for a consult and found out he had to have two teeth pulled immediately. So, they did it and after the fact realized they didn't have any sutures to sew up the holes left and all they did was put gauze in and sent him home. He they continued to bleed out and ended up going by ambulance to the hospital emergency the next day and spent 2 1/2 days in ICU where he received 3 units of blood before they felt he was safe to go home. I have also been trying to get ahold of someone in billing because they never billed our insurance because they had a credit card they could get the money immediately, so they didn't even send it to insurance. We are out a lot of money, and no one wants to call me back. So, if you don't mind a backwoods dental practice then by all means go to this one.

Terrible experience. Dr. Chopra fixed my husband's cavity and did a root canal for me. The fillings came out within a few days for both of us. Surprising especially when they are charge so much even with insurance.

If you like meeting new people then yes great staff but unfortunately they are so ever costly and just because you can fix a tooth in less then 5 minutes doesn’t mean you did it right. Will search elsewhere for other dental care but great staff but speed doesn’t mean better care

I accompanied my friend to his 4 visits to Dr. Chopra. First off, he never wrote a review here and certainly not a favorable one! I have never seen such poor treatment! Lack of communication and work done last minute when there had not been a discussion before hand and certainly not during the initial consultation. I would never refer anyone to Dr. Dental!

Staff is friendly & very welcoming had to have teeth extracted while I wasn’t looking forward to it hearing stories from friends & coworkers who had to get teeth pulled at other places. When the time came communication during surgery as to what was being done was excellent so felt assured that I was in good hands!

I love this office. I tend to get nervous before going to the dentist but not at this establishment. Very knowledgeable staff. Dr. Chopra and her assistant, Celeste, made my visit an easy process as they guided me through.

I had the incredibly good fortune of being evaluated and diagnosed by Dr. Ryan. I’m a 50-something guy with a long record of bad dentists, poor personal dental hygiene and most of all BDG... Bad Dental Genetics! Dr. Ryan is brilliant, talented, and an excellent communicator. And he obviously really cares about his patients too. After years of unfortunate experiences, I think I finally lucked out. I’m entrusting him with a regime that will hopefully get me back on track. THANK YOU Dr. Ryan!

I’ve been going to Dr. dental for a couple years now there always polite, and always go over your previous dental records to see if there is any Previous problems that is reoccurred which is very good, staff is always polite and Dr. is great, I want to thank them for all their help. And they are very professional in the office, always making sure your ok, the doctor is the best at giving you your best smile, always love seeing them every six months for my cleaning, keep up the fantastic work.

So far, outstanding! I went here to correct an issue I had with a previous dentist in another location where a filling was done between two teeth instead of a root canal and single filling on the adjacent tooth that was required. Needless to say, the repair failed just as COVID was getting started. I wasn't able to return due to the quarantine. Over the next several months, pieces of the once-filled tooth began to break off along with the tooth beside it. I needed some help. I reached out to the location I first went to and found the dentist who helped me was no longer with Dr. Dental. I was stuck in a situation and reached out to the practice manager and regional and here we are in Norwalk where Dr. Chopra has been lined up to make things right. Two visits in, I'm wholly impressed. The attendant at the desk, Stephanie, is great - friendly, schedules quickly and was able to obtain my x-rays from another office without an issue. Shareesa, the hygienist and Dr. Chopra were truly a breath of fresh air. Both of them keep things cool, quick and thorough and are fun to work with. Over two visits, I had a root canal done and finalized and impressions taken for an incoming crown. I'm expecting the next visit to go off without a hitch and I will be continuing my care here going forward. I'm so relieved to have finally found not only a great dentist who is clear, concise and talented, but a support staff that are totally in-sync. I can't speak to anybody else's experiences here, but for everyone involved in correcting my problem, Kiara of Bridgeport, Mary the regional manager and now the staff in Norwalk with special credit to Dr. Chopra and Shareesa -- the entire experience has been exemplary. To everybody who helped to correct things, thanks for being so responsive and for making things right. I've got my share of dental issues and this was a problem that was not getting any better - that is now in the middle of being fixed. Great work all around!

I scheduled an appointment at 10am having to be at work at noon thinking “that’s plenty of time “ arrived 15 minutes early only to have work started and then left for half hour! ? “I’ll be back in 5” longest 5 minutes! Worst part is people kept checking in adding more and more to my wait time! Even though I clearly said I HAD TO GO. Manage your appointments better and your customer service

Today 09/08/20 - The Connecticut Avenue location in Norwalk stands as a scary representation of the lack of compliance in the medical field. This location at 369 CT Avenue first has signage all over the glass about wearing masks. There were two women Employees (!) standing inside the location with the doors locked at 10:19AM who did not have in mask at all. Not pulled beneath their chins, just no masks! One was behind the desk ( a black woman dressed in dental hygienist scrubs) the other a White woman wearing a sweat suit and again no mask standing on the waiting area side. The latter came to the door and opened it a crack. I asked what was going on and she said .. “we open at 11AM? “. I said obviously there is no signage to that effect the door reads 8AM -7:30PM and I left a message on voicemail to get my appointment but nothing tells callers you are opening at 11AM. Furthermore why aren’t you wearing a mask?” Her response was that there were just two of them in there. This is unacceptable. This is how people contract COVID. It’s a dental office! I asked her for her District Manager. “ Mary” I asked for a last name “ Mary Ruiz.” I asked if she was cleaning the office? She said no. I told her, “ This is a medical office -not your home. You need to be wearing a mask. I am contacting your corporate offices.” She walked away and locked the door. Whether she is sanitation staff or administrative ... they should all be wearing masks. This is something where compliance and safety of patients is not a concern. This is a huge blemish on Dr. Dental. It requires both corporate, city and state intervention. Patients are going into a dental office where the air and surfaces are subject to employees who refuse to wear masks because -they are not open yet? Absurd and irresponsible.

Went there twice because their availability is actually pretty fast , first time it took me 40 minutes waiting after my scheduled appointment for them to see me for a 5 minutes cleaning .... second appointment (I’m pregnant) took the first appointment in the day , assistant was smelling like cigarettes (REALLY BAD) , and equipment wasn’t working perfectly, cleaning lasted 3 minutes. Poor sanitation, very disorganized office, not clean .... Definitely not coming back , I’m not used to post bad reviews on anything but is important to know where to go because nothing is for free and health care is something we should be more careful about When we pick doctors.

I took my 4 year old daughter for a cleaning today and couldn’t have been happier. She was a little nervous before we went, but all of the staff was great from the moment we arrived and called from the car to be let in (COVID regulations). She (and I) were both very comfortable and had a great experience, will definitely be returning for her next visit in 6 months! She also got some great goodies on the way out!

The only great doctor there is, is Dr. Salvi, and I can not get an appointment with him, so I stopped going because the rest of them don’t know what they’re doing. Last time I went there with my daughter, they lost our appointment with Dr. Salvi. We waited for 90 minutes and was sent home. They will always tell you he is not available for an appointment. I was very disappointed in this place. They need to go out of business. If I could give it less stars I would. The receptionist are rude and are not efficient at their job. I scheduled my appointment and confirmed it but when I got their They said I wasn’t on the schedule and the doctor would not be able to do any work on me. The facility is also dirty. I have a video of a bug crawling on the equipment when I was waiting. Their doctors are also unskilled and are not trained I found that the filling that were done were done poorly and their is one Doctor their (Dr. Salvi) who has to redo everything and fix the others mistakes. He was the only reason I would go back. Don’t even have me started on how long you have to wait to be seen. I have waited for over an hour before. I usuallyi do not write reviews but this is needed. They need to fix this place or go out of business.

STOP, STOP DO NOT GO THERE! The place is disaster. It’s looks like the doctors goes to this office straight from school and no experience and no training. All the doctors messes up and they have only one experienced doctor cleaning up after their mistakes (which’s big ones), and it’s hard to get an appointment with him. So they tell you the good doctor is not available. Do not go there if you want to keep your teeth!!!!!! Stay away! This place deserves less than one star!

I had such a great experience at Dr. Dental. All of the staff team and Dr. Chopra were extremely nice and helpful. I have been to 3 other dentist offices between Stamford and Norwalk, and Dr. Dental is definitely The best. Needed an appointment last minute (scheduled a day or two ahead) and was easily accommodated. Thank you!

Dental checkup

My initial reason for choosing Dr Dental was because a crown fell out, I hadn’t been to the dentist in 3 years, and their price was good. Naturally, I had a dentist for years, but I just could not afford them as their prices climbed higher and higher. I had the crown done, a cleaning, and 2 cavities filled. I am so happy with how well this crown fits. It seriously may be the best fit I’ve ever had (even from my dentist who charged 3 times as much). Today I had 2 cavities filled and, they too, are perfect. I recommend Dr Chopra without reservation.
